I love living waters, but Justin always seems a bit too angry and a bit too, should we say like a pharisee. justin, more humility, less direct name calling and more biblical truth; you don't always have to call out a pastors name or a church's name to help people grow; been watching for quite some time and it is hard to complete one episode because of the border line hate; keep speaking truth that is good, but remember a church is not defined by what it taught last Sunday or by what its pastor did in the parking lot; find a way to call out sin with humility; i know this is hard brother, the only one that did it perfect is jesus, but try, at least we can try

I’m grateful for your ministry. I remember watching a small part of one of your videos a few years ago and thinking not the best of you. You were calling out by name false teachers and some of them I was still listening to and some I had stopped listening to. Irregardless, the way I had been taught was that you “don’t judge” and you “don’t touch the Lord’s anointed” and “you don’t call anyone out by name”. I was in a hyper-charismatic church and I didn’t know the difference, but the more I read my Bible the more questions I had and I couldn’t reconcile them. We ended up leaving the church there and began attending a more, seeker-sensitive charismatic kind of church. I again had no idea. I look back and I’m amazed at Gods grace to get us out of all that. I didn’t just hear the teachings, I believed them and even taught some of them. I didn’t believe in little gods doctrine or some of the teachings that go along with word of faith and name it and claim it, and the moving of the Holy Spirit. But I did believe a lot of it. Now when I read my Bible it’s so very different. Now I understand my depravity like I never did before. Now I understand the incredible grace of God like never before. During the beginning of the pandemic churches went online and then I stopped being afraid to see what “those baptists” churches actually teach and I began looking up questions I had in commentaries and they collided with what I’d been taught. At first, it was really hard and scary. I was not deconstructing my faith (I had no idea what that meant then) but I was reforming my faith to sound Biblical, historical Christianity. Sometime in 2020, I listened to you again. I think it was after I watched American gospel. Which then, I was beginning to somewhat agree with the teaching but I was still struggling with what all to let go of and what was actually true to hold on to. When I watched your channel again, I realized that you’re not some judgmental mean-spirited angry Christian (sorry), but you genuinely care about the truth and those caught up in lies and you’re trying to help warn people. I started listening, a lot! I have spent countless hours on RU-vid since the beginning of 2020 and I’ve learned so much. Now, I’m once again excited to learn. The first time, I went into blind, but now I’m learning how to rightly exegete scripture and good hermeneutics. I’m also trying to share what I learn with others and I find that to be the greatest challenge of all, but it’s so worth it. I’ve since watched each American gospel a couple more times and now, I love it!! Now I look at scriptures in right context and I’m absolutely just continually in awe how I once believed what I did and I can’t help but thank God for His grace to get me out and for using those like yourself to help warn us. Thank you!!
Remember Jesus said "Unless you be like a little child you shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven" and that "My sheep know my voice, they will not follow another shepherd". Our relationship with God is so sacred and the simplicity of the blessed truth, recieved by faith like a child. The guidance of the Holy Spirit is speaking into our hearts and constantly making us aware of which way we should walk, leading us into all truth. It is man in the guise of the preachers truth that lead so many away from the flock. The simplicity of our faith is reflective of the mighty majesty of our Creator.

Very good points Justin. FYI, I pay Google monthly to have access to RU-vid with no advertisements. When I made the switch I really saw the difference. I do enjoy RU-vid and have to be selective with my time watching videos. I do not watch just any video with a Christian theme, but I do watch yours. Thank you for your ministry and May the Lord bless you. I have learned so much from quality ministries, like yours, and I am teaching my teen age son about the Lord with Bible studies, verse by verse, chapter by chapter and book by book.

Even preachers gotta eat, have a roof over their head. I have seen inappropriate commercials come up on Christian channels. Especially for tarot readers, etc. But like anything else, I ignore them.

This is a deceptive aproach in my opinion. Would you let a stranger to put any sticker on your car for money? Of course not! You would like to see first, what the sticker says. YT doesn't give you that option, and any money made on those filthy adverts, is dirty money. There must be a better way of making money for Christian Ministries.

Even if you pay for a premium subscription you’re still subject to advertisements. I could see being upset if he was encouraging poor behavior or direct financial support of those behaving badly but he has made it clear that is not the case. They’re going to make money from the users one way or another. I would rather see that money go to a content creator that would use the money for good. You can always let the add play while on mute or turn away if you find it that offensive, it’s what I do. I don’t have to participate but those I support still reap the benefits.

This is 100% his responsibility, because there is a way to avoid it (as he did in the past). It's not "beyond his control", it's not "beyond his choice". Thanks for the explanation, Justin. I appreciate your ministry parameters. Paul refused to take money from the Corinthians and some others, but he took money from the Philippians and others. It was easier back then to know the situation and who you were dealing with. Now, with an "internet" ministry, you just don't know what people will say or do in regard to funding your ministry. I would just go with the biblical principle that the workman is worthy of his wages (1 Timothy 5:18), and those who teach the sound doctrine should be receiving donations (Galatians 6:6). God knows your heart; you can't do anything about those who don't.

Love it! I would consider the tax implications. At the end of the year you will get a 1099 from a holding company that you will need to file with your taxes (provided the earnings exceed $600). You may want to put a portion (say 20%) in a holding account till you know how much tax will be taken. At that point you can give whatever remains away. Glad you’re doing this brother!
