My brother is a gazetted rank officer. He litters even if I tell him not to. So It's not about education. Njan cheythillenkilum bakki ullavar cheyyum enna thonnal + goverment waste bin vekkunnilla enna excuse + kunthalipp pro max in our blood
Hi Dilu , As you said, I had bad experiance when I visited in Goa last week with my family all the places was dirty and littering and got food poisoning need to improve our places by the authority and the people thanks for your initiative
Why to say more!? Last day i travelled in vande bharat and the toilet was pathetic. I was very disappointed as basic cleanliness is something that needs to be done without any pressure or fine. India already has a bad image regarding cleanliness. As a citizen, i am very sad about all this.
I have travelled to 14 states in India and 3 international countries and with my experience i agree 💯 to everything you said in the video . What you said is so relatable, its a sad truth.
not true if u visited Meghalaya. cleanest place I ever visited .Coming to conclusion just visiting hardly some over crowded places like Goa in India is not correct. Karnataka also has many hidden gems trust me its equally as beautiful as kerala just visiting Banglore and blaming Karnataka also stupidity .
@@rekhas7998 you assume a lot 😂. We talking as a state in general not cherry picking a place in a state and ofc northeast is comparatively better but I doubt karnataka lol or any main land Indian place.
Indians need to develop the civic sense that we are living in a place where others also live. That social awareness is still lacking. Indians should reduce their selfishness and try not to disturb other's well being atleast. Cleanliness starts from inside thinking. A developing country can also be clean.
Indian railways also need to improve we have travelled to Delhi Agra Manali in train...the cleanliness was pathetic...and after crossing Kerala border (esp north people) were trying to occupy the reserved seats and behaving badly...also they were spitting here and there in the toilet doors and inside the toilets too (we can see the red stains everywhere) people really need to improve their behavior that is is the first thing....and in that case our Kerala people are the best...we can understand the value of our state once we go outside Kerala😊
Very true Diluchetta…I live in Dubai…same people who dirty in their home country India..they keep this country so clean due to fear of law…that is really sad…such a beautiful country we have…such a shame infront of the world who are craving to visit India…Really dontknow why India cannot bring solid Law to maintain hygene
I completely agree with you. To set the context, hotel prices in India are relatively high compared to those in other countries. One can find a hotel in India for 3000-4000 INR, but if we compare hotels at the same price point outside of India, they are often much better-cleaner and better managed. In India, what you often get for this price range includes dirty linens, unclean toilets, and shabby surroundings. This discrepancy in quality is evident when you speak to any Indians living in the Middle East, who can attest to the superior quality of similarly priced hotels there.
Cleanliness is a big negative...which unfortunately is the last thing in the mind of the people n govt. It must be enforced strictly by the govt..fines must be imposed. People must be educated via whatever media possible. Thanks for highlighting this. But unfortunately don't know if this will go down well with the people.
This is very true! I could experience the difference after travelling to Thailand. The cleanliness and hospitality in even public places is very good when compared to our country. Be it any washrooms I used throughout the entire trip was very neat. The toilets in public places here will be a nightmare, which makes it difficult especially for women to travel. This has to happen from the people of this country, they should have the mentality to keep their surroundings clean.
u said it is true I am a person who was born and brought up abroad. after living here I really don't like to come to India as the hygiene is horrible. A tourist, can't sit in their hotel or resort the whole day they have to explore right. but it's impossible here in India. streets and roads are dirty and smelly. also, one thing we can not say all states are like that. but the majority like 80% of India is still unhygienic and we have fewer tourists.
Very true.. Recently we had been to Bangkok and had a very wonderful trip.. It was our first international trip with two kids, and without taking any package.. There, everything is very organised, including the cab system.. So we won't get confused in the middle of the road.. Moreover the places are so clean and everything is economical.. After coming back to India, the very next day, I came to Kolkata for a job purpose and it's literally incomparable...roadsides are ugly.. People spits anywhere and everywhere.. It's expensive also... It's high time to have a change in all these things.. Even I agree the fact that once we experience the economical travels and cleanliness in other countries, we won't feel to plan our next trip within India
This was a new information for a person like me who is planing a trip in india, thank you dilu bro for your valuable points.... Nice content too...and do a detailed vlog of your Malaysian trip...
Population is the main reason. The waste produced by 10 people and waste produced by 100 people is different.its easily to decipline 10 people but not 100. I am some one who stays in Uk.here even the public roads and dustbins are emptied once in a week, where as in india its emptied every day but still its over flowing...govt doesnt have enough money to pay salary otherwise thy could have arranged people to empty these dustbins every 6 hours.. another problem is tht as india is thickly populated more and more number of flats and houses are build without control. We don't even have proper recycling factories... waste get piled up in our country.factories are there every where which spread out poisonous gas... where as developed countries mostly outsource their demands and thy prefer quality living without such poisonous factories. So no point in complaining.first everyone shd decide to reduce population... wen population reduce less produces need to be produced less waste less nonof houses so more greenery better educational nd everyone will get employment and roads need not have to be w8dened so there will be space for better food path and better parks and play area.
Very true , but atleast spitting everywhere, keeping the public bathroom clean , throwing garbage on the road can be avoided , it will make a big impact
You would have arranged your background on better way, you said sorry my background looks not so nice, that’s is the typical way of Indian thoughts, they think nobody care if we say sorry, now the question is who will Change who? Cleanliness must start from homes.
You are absolutely right 100%. We were discussing this couple of days ago! The most dirtiest & non caring are our folks! It’s just selfishness & the mind set of our people!! Kerala used to be clean, but not at all now!! I told my friend who wanted to travel to India to stick with ONLY reputed resorts !!
Very true facts only Dilu Chettan...I am working and living in Bangalore and experiencing the dirty things everywhere along with famous traffic. I must say the majority are not following traffic rules and very rash driving can create accidents any time. I too visited few 3-4 star properties munnar and when comparing with other locations like Ooty, Kodaikanal it's really worth it in terms of cleanliness and the services they are giving ( rates between 3-5)... Bangalore almost reached its maximum capacity and recently also faced water scarcity a lot sad to say we people only destroying our beautiful places and making things dirty not fit for living 😢
What u said is exactly correct..Holidays reduced to just dream for middle class and poor...That much over priced for traveling and food Forget about Holidays even daily traveling become expensive
This is the saddest reality about INDIA😢, namal abroad live cheyumpol or visit cheyumpol namuk ath nannyi relate cheyyan kazhiyum. Even namude keralathi travel cheyumpol polum public toilets use cheyyan pattarilla😖 Toilets paid aakit ath neat and clean aayi vechoode? Proper waste management system kond vanoode? Ethokke nalla pole maintain cheythoode? 😦
Yes I was to travel wd my n. Indian friends to Coorg but dropped seeing the budget going above from Delhi n now plan to go to Thailand coz of ur blogs n influence abt tht country so much tht we intend to spend our holidays there…..looking forward❤❤ to
Well said!!!!... Thanks... These are the reasons youngsters leaving india... We were living banglore for 3 years... Here they all are dumping waste in roadside & it smelling.. Even no proper waste management system for people who living here... Government should provide proper waste management system for people like UAE. UAE is the best place for waste management system.. Also traffic... We should learn from UAE for many things... Including waste management & traffic that are the very basic things.. I lived 3 years in UAE & experienced it....all you said all true for every sentence.. We are experiencing same...
Well said. .since 2009, i am living in sharjah, working in shj environmental Company which manages waste management. Life is disciplined and much easier here.
I have heard foreigners saying, when we enter India we see slums garbage seavage and all. It's coz of our own people. Atleast start using dustbins, stop spitting here and there. Angane cheriya cheriya karyangal polum maattam varuthaan sahaayikyum.
You should visit northeast destinations especially gangtok meghalaya sikkim n all they are at par with international destinations in terms of cleanliness stay or spots. Infact plaves like Kashi Varnasi had undergone a huge tramsformation post the development of corridor. India is beautiful its just people run around the same tourist spots
I have visited Rishikesh and surroundings , it was really filthy and we all know what a big failure clean Ganga project was , streets are filled with animal waste , and north east might be clean but it’s extremely expensive if a family of four needs a good quality vacation in that region
@@OHF3 months back I along with my family and friends visited Varnasi we were surprised to see the clean neat & well maintained infrastructure. Even the hotels are renovated and classy. Talking about Northeast Sikkim is doing wonders. Our total expense for both trips each didn't exceed 50000Rs. including travel, hotel stays & sight seeing. Two familes of 4 members each. We didnt go for flights and preferred trains
Also I fully disagree with your opiniom on the Clean Ganga project. The entire city of Varnasi looks so different now post the development of Kashi Corridor. I have visited this place almost every year and I am seeing how the city has transformed.
But Brother, not everyone are rich like you. To afford international trip. For us our neighborhood is the best and we enjoy. And also the places like Ooty and all dirty because of the tourists. Even if the government ban plastic, they bring it and throw it everywhere. So each one of us should be responsible. See the countries like China , Laos and all. Even if population is there. They maintain the cleanliness. So people should change. Then our country can be much better than any where in the world.
Yes, we also felt the same with Goa.Last September we visited Goa with kids for the first time with so much expectations but ended up without stepping into even a single beach because of excrement.. Human and animal.. Same thing with the stay expense also.. Costs more than Thailand and Bali at our Kodaikanal🤭
The issue is ur primary focus on travel if food, visit places like Meghalaya. u cant even compare it with Malaysia in terms of beauty .Yes I agree over crowded places like Goa is dirty. But u should also explore other parts of India especially north east
Not necessrily u hv to travel all the time via flight u get trains book dat there are many good train options. And stay and food as well as destinations at places like gangtok r really affordable as well as neat & clean. Expand the thought proces thats all which is required
@@spdrg86 dude If my GK is not wrong Meghalaya has cleanest village in Asia.I mean Asia ok. Watch vlogs of non politically inclines vlogger .Trust me its 10 times beautiful than Malaysia or Singapore. I been to all 3 places
Cleanliness undakendathu Suresh Gopi alla...namal veetil nalla seelam padikkanam athu Thane veliyilum cheyanam....but etra per athu follow cheyunund? Mattulla countries people avarude cleanliness Ella idathum maintain cheyunund... vande Bharat il kayariyapol oru well dressed lady came from toilet without properly cleaning the toilet.. avar avarude veetil angane idumo? I called her back and asked to clean the place .. ithu pole cheyunor aanu mikka aalkarum😢
Oru public toilet use cheyaan oru citizen nu ariyathath oru politician ntem thalayil ketti vaikenda fault alla. Even younger generation is a failure in such matters. No empathy , civic sense and manners!
I would love to bring some of my friends from here to Kerala, but worried about restaurants with good toilet facilities between destinations like between KOCHI and Munnar, Munnar to Thekkady etc. Any suggestions?
Rangers hotel, adimali is a good place to stop with better food and clean toilets. also there are few clean hotels around kothamangalam to take small breaks
This is just an example but it’s a good place as I have stayed there Check out The Robertson Bukit Bintang Luxe Suites on Agoda: www.agoda.com/sl/s9JB0Ees3uI
Very well said Dillu.. I've travelled in US and Singapore. I felt those places are heavenly and we are living in a man made hell just because of the lack of cleanliness in our place😢
