Here’s all the reasons why i was underwhelmed with the new ipad pro M4 13 inch (keep in mind as an existing 12.9 gen ipad pro, i had a higher expectation and also just an average user :)
Upgrading every generation is definitely not the move. You’re gonna see upgrades if you’re coming from a 2020 iPad Pro or older maybe. I really only upgrading after your current device feels old or after a few generations because those gen over gen updates pile up. Plus you spend a lot less money.
it is so much lighter and thinner! the more i use the new ipad pro m4 13 inch back and forth with the older 5th gen 12.9, im starting to really notice the difference when i hold them. i didn’t realized how good of a diff it makes with the new one!
This is such a good video, talking about how the new iPad features actually affect real life workflow. This is exactly what people want to know, thanks!
I upgraded from the 12.9 inch iPad from 2018 (A12X chip) and I intend to use it until 2028-2030. I consider the iPad to be the cheapest tablet out there, because it lasts so long and apple supports them with the newest iOS for a looong time.
I had the m4 for about a week and final cut pro was amazing ! it didnt crash one time. Then I went back to my M2 and I cant use the app anymore. it hurt my feelings lowkey hahah. Great video! have a blessed day!
oled doesnt have dimming zones, its per pixel lighting try comparing a vid of fireworks the bloom and haloing of the non-oled's backlighting should be quite noticable
After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?
imo i think getting the bigger screen is better. i barely use an actual keyboard whenever i use my ipad (only when i need to journal or type a lot). i love using the ipad as is without external screens and stuff so it works well for me to get the bigger screen and able to multi-task on the ipad as is :) but it just depends how you plan on using it for yourself
I'm a med student i need to write a lot of notes , take it with me for college and hospital do you think the 13 inch will be a problem to carry around ? And what's do recommend me buy the m2 pro or m4 pro please i need your advice
I used the 13” 2018 iPad Pro all through dental school. The larger screen was nice especially when using dual screen/two apps simultaneously. If you’re walking around a hospital without a desk, the 13” size may feel large to hold & take notes if that’s what you do, but if you’re on a desk constantly it will probably be just fine.
thanks @Final-dz5md! if you write lots of notes, the bigger screen space is def much better and nicer for you. but knowing that you’ll be carrying around a lot, you could either consider the latest ipad pro 13 inch (it is very light and easier to carry around)but if you don’t really need the M4 (which you likely don’t if notetaking if the main you like to do), then i recommend the ipad air since they have bigger screen options for m2 and still pretty light to carry around. For me personally for writing, the smaller screen (e.g. 11 inch or 10.9) is just too small for me to enjoy writing on there for too long
i didn’t noticed much smudges on the space gray, so far no prob with the space black 😊 it’s nice tho, i like black as a color so space black is like a cool black imo
hey you are so small and cute :D just wanted to say that. so pettite, that ipad looks huge with you. with me it looks like I could put it in my bac pocket 😂😄
i was using Freeform when i was showing how the new apple pencil pro works. it is a free app that comes with apple apps now. i like it - it’s an endless paper
