Suspenders rock! They should have never gone out of style!

I've become an all-suspenders all the time guy. Love them. They're so comfortable and they look awesome. They're dapper AF. They dictate my entire style - I tuck all my shirts and my sweaters in now.

I chose to start wearing suspenders since I got a bit of a tummy, and well with a belt I had to basically choke out my waist, ending with back pains and so on. And since I work a 12-hour shift job it's just not sustainable. So I started wearing suspenders and like magic, all the pains went away. I consider my health to be a priority to what others may think of me cause I wear suspenders. They are comfy and at the end of the day I don't have to complain to myself that my back hurts.

Im a fat man and these are the type of suspenders I choose. They are especially great for a ccw permit holder, they assist your belt in holding up a sidearm.

I am a welder by trade and I started wearing suspenders a few years ago and it was a game changer! I know it sounds silly but I am a lean guy 5’11” and bounce between 170-180lbs and 100 degrees and 90% humidity will make my pants loose wet and sag.... suspenders keep my pants suspended!

I used to work in a tire shop that required us to wear back braces strapped at all times. They didn’t realize that this would cause back problems. Now when I wear belts I get pain. I started wearing suspenders to alleviate the pain. Worked like a charm, who they are my go to for keeping my pants up and back pain free.

Suspenders are a west coast logger thing - but they're great for anyone. Belts are barbaric. The clips can be hard on your trousers. A sort of new thing is clips/trigger snaps that clip onto your belt loops, and don't tear your pants up. But the best thing about suspenders is that you can wear your pants a size up - roomier, and with suspenders they sort of float on you. Magic! They also 'fit when you sit' which is the opposite of being trussed up with a belt. I, too, would climb over logs and rip out the crotch of my jeans out in the woods when I was wearing belts. I alternate between side-clip suspenders - trucker suspenders, since they don't get twisted or caught on anything getting in and out of a vehicle - and x-back or y-back suspenders. I used to much prefer y-back, but nowadays find they tend to give you a wedgie, so I've come back around to x-back suspenders. Good manly stuff! -Tom

I love suspenders since I was a kid, and my parents love them too. They bought me a pair of suspenders when I was 15 years algo or so, and they took the attention of many people on the go, many of them like them even fron the far distance. They are very nice, confortable, and a lot better than belt.

I cut myself crawling under some equipment and was unable to tighten my belt with out major pain. So I bought a pair of suspenders to wear untill my wound healed. I never went back to the belt. I love the suspenders and wish I had discovered them earlier in life. The only time I use a belt now is when I'm attatching tools to it and then it's the suspenders holding up the belt, not tention. I love them.

I am 17 and my peers are gonna lasugh at me when they see me wearin suspenders lol, but they will also know that them man has entered the room....lol

Yuengling is pretty bomb. Had some good nights under the South Carolina moonlight drinking the yueng. And I just switched to suspenders in stout and slim versions as well. Kudos for making me breathe out my coffee out my nostrils in laughter. Subbed and dubbed

Totally agree. I honestly never wore suspender, and always squeezed my belly and messed with dropping pants at work.. I'm heading to get some right away.. Why didn't I wear those before !?

I just got a similar pair but the X kills my back when I sit down or have to drive somewhere. Does this happen to anyone else or are you supposed to only wear them when you stand?

The Stout Suspenders! You can wear em all day, and if your car breaks down on the way home you always have a tow strap handy! Genius idea!! (all in fun guys, nobody get all wadded up over it) LOL!

suspenders are the way to go I've been wearing mine at work for 7 years now. sure I get mocked but they are comfortable and I don't have to tuck my shirt in over and over again! I like the Dickie's Perry, it clips to the underside of my belt.

Yes! That is my main reason why I need to wear suspenders ordered my 1st pair on Amazon but it's under shirt. I don't tuck my shirt in because it a pain in the butt to keep tucking it back in.

I just got my first pair of suspenders I'm in love with them my daughter's even wanted some other the younger one doesn't hurt as much as the older onebut I have a feeling that will change when her parents aren't falling down all the time and they are 5 and 7 years old

When you got a body shape like mine suspenders are just more comfortable especially with jeans...despite what my uber fashion oriented cousin says..she near had a heart attack when I said I had to pairs of suspenders.

If you are a salesman, you can reach stuff on the top shelf without your shirt coming untucked.

I'm always squatting, reaching over my head, bending over, pushing, pulling, you name it at work. By lunch I was constantly having to pull my pants up but no more. I bought my first pair of suspenders about 2 months ago and I love them. I wear them everyday to work and I'm 66 years old so I really don't care what anyone thinks about them. All I know is I love them!

What brand suspenders are those?

I have been wearing suspenders my whole life. Here's what I recommend: Get Welsh suspenders and get the same thing the loggers wear, get the X back with the leather tips that allow you to use buttons instead of clips. Clips wear out and become a nuisance. I get the 2 inch wide because they don't stretch like thinner ones do. I'm 6 feet tall and I get the XL. Good luck!

I started wearing suspenders because belts cut off the circulation to your waist causing you to get constipated. Now that I wear suspenders, I have very frequent bowel movement 🤣😂

Also when you’re portly a belt buckle always digs into your pot belly. This is why I wear suspenders they are a trillion times more comfortable.

I’m a 54 year old life safety electrician and for years I’ve being wearing a pouch on my dominant side for service calls . My hip has started to hurt and chiropractor said I need to distribute weight. I’m now wearing suspenders my body shape does not hold belt very good and I was not blessed with a backside so far the pain is gone.

I am currently in this dilemma. I love belts, but suffer from noassatall, and have to pull the belt too tight (, squished guts)

I think I laughed from about 1:44 onwards and didnt actually hear a word you said.....for two reasons....number one, the clyde I remember worked out and number two suspenders are what ladies wear when they wanna dress up for ya in the bedroom......them there be braces. ;-)

I have lower back problems so I have to be careful choosing the right Suspenders. Does anyone make a decompression suspender. It's hard to find the right ones. Underware fall down, shirt won't stay tucked in and pants still fall down unless you make them tight and then you destroy lower back. Hard to find the right fit.

those clips get tired and fail, so I made a loop out of rebar wire at each failed clip ( all 4 now ) and run my belt thru them. the wire ends sometimes stab me and it hurts a little,,,Do I really need to invent a simple but durable cloth loop to run a belt through, I got more interesting stuff to invent, Im no fashion guy,
