Fun fact : Srilanka lost 2007 ODI World Cup final against Australia, 2009 T20 WC final against Pakistan, 2011 WC final against India, 2012 T20 WC Final against West Indies. They finally won in t20 WC in 2014 agaist India. Kumar Sangakkara and Jayawardene last tournament just like for VIRAT AND ROHIT now. India also played most ICC finals in last 10 years. Its good when legends get their due.
If I am not wrong has played every semis in tournament from 2013 till now (2021 t20 was a bs tournament every match in dubai was won by batting past so ignore that.)

This time I have 0%expectation from team India after so many heart breaks I dont have any courage left to expect any thing from them but this time they lift the cup so very very happy and grateful but they should win lot more trophies to prove their exceptional talent in upcoming ICC events
kohli made a blunder in 2017...You dont bowl first in a big final😊 We gifted them a trophy.And 2023 wc, thanks to our management...you either make a double paced wicket or a fully flat one which gives equal opportunities to both sides.Aussies outplayed us.

Yup u r right as of now but unfortunately with changing time, the future is T20 cricket so may be after 10-15 yrs it will be the T20 World Cup which will be most precious. And remember Olympics also happen in T20 format plus almost 100 assosiate nations plays T20 cricket.....so T20 is future.

More than choking i think wrong selection from team management in the ICC tournaments costed us many trophies over the decade,this time team selection was perfect and every player was extra motivated to give a golden exit to virat and rohit from T20 format
Hardik Pandya doesnt deserve one bit of credit....HE JUST GOT LUCKY....Let me tell you why 1) Rishabh Pant breaking Klaasen's momentum 2) Bumrah & Arshdeep bowling awesome to create the pressure and giving him 16 runs as a buffer 3) Surya's awesome catch He was bowling such loose balls that any other day he would have been crucified....HE'S JUST GOT REAL GOOD LUCK..We saw that when he got a really lucky with GT....Some people just get lucky and some have to work hard all life .
