Haven’t seen it yet. However, I can bet that there’s a couple reasons why Inside Out 2 became an unexpected massive blockbuster: 1. It’s a sequel to one of Pixar’s most memorable films and was an Oscar-winning film that people enjoyed. 2. Great marketing and advertising 3. Strong word of mouth 4. Inside Out’s fan base grew since its release due to the film’s messages and relatable content 5. Been hearing no agenda at all that focuses on entertainment only. 6. Animated movies had a record of box office successes lately like The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, Minions: The Rise of Gru and sleeper hits in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Migration, and The Garfield Movie

Mind you Critical Drinker has written over 2 dozen novels each with several hundred or thousand reviews 99% of which have a 4.5/5 rating. So he knows how to write and what to look for in a story. Nerdrotic used to own a Comic Book Retail place, and is a co-host to Real BBC. Again he also knows what to look for in stories. Cant own a comic book store and not know your shit, readers tend to vanish when the owner isnt into the same thing (especially comics) your store will do poorly. So Looper here called them out and it backfired immensely which is why he deleted his video about them and that same video is making rounds on X
