America is presently besieged by the hydra-headed evil combo of inflation and recession. The worst aspect about this crisis is that consumers are piling up credit card debt. Credit card debt increased by 20% in April alone, while interest rates have doubled in a year. Inflation is so severe that customers are essentially going into debt to buy basic essentials. The collapse has certainly begun.
Every day, we face a new challenge. It has become the new normal. We felt it was a catastrophe at first, but now we know it's a new normal to which we must adjust. This year will be a year of great economic suffering across the country. What initiatives can we take to earn additional revenue during the period of quantitative adjustment?I can't afford for my hard-earned $200k to fall to dust.
Recessions are ideal chances for wealth generation in the world of finance. When my portfolio suffered a substantial loss in April of last year, I recognized I needed to hire a financial advisor. With her help, I not only recovered my losses but also made a profit of $250k. This experience has provided me with information and abilities that have been useful in my pursuit of financial success.
Yes, Stacey Laura Alviani made headlines in 2020, but I'm not sure if I can bring her up in this context. She manages my portfolio and acts as a counselor for me.
Increasing interest rates are going to continue to increase bank failures because it puts their commercial paper and treasuries underwater. They need to freeze interest rates to prevent a deep recession in the economy. At the same time the White house needs to help industry to increase gas and oil output to reduce fuel prices. The war on oil only serves to increase energy prices which trickles out to the rest of the economy as inflation. Lowering interest rates, tightening the money supply, reducing government spending and increasing the cheap supply of fuel will result in reduced inflation and a booming economy.
A recession as bad it can be, provides good buying opportunities in the markets if you’re careful and it can also create volatility giving great short time buy and sell opportunities too. This is not financial advise but get buying, cash isn’t king at all in this time.
Since the outbreak of 2020, which had a significant impact on the market, I've been running all of my investment decisions through an investment coach because their entire philosophy is centered around using a high-profit oriented blueprint while simultaneously going long and short, as well as reducing risk exposure as a hedge against inevitable downtrends. Underperforming is almost impossible when combined with their access to strange data and analysis.
Natalie Marie Tuttle is the licensed fiduciary I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

The key to big returns is not big moving stocks. It's managing risk in relationship to reward. Having the correct size on and turning your edge as many times as necessary to reach your goal. That holds true from long term investing to day trading.
I enjoy my day to day market decisions being guided by a portfolio-coach, seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time both employing risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis they have, it's near impossible to not outperform, been using a portfolio-coach for over 2years+ and I've netted over $1.2million.
That's grand! I believe the high-value gains are backed by years of study/experience in knowing what makes what tick. the portfolio-advisor that guides you is who though?
Interest rate have been held artificially low for 2 decades. Operating an economy with close to 0 interest rates is stacking the deck for badly run companies. The companies end up operating with 0 cost of capital and nominally fixed labor costs ( workers have been making 10/15$ per hour for the last 20 year. This means that extremely bad managers of companies can make lots of money with very little cost. Now they are screaming that their free giveaways are being terminated. Good. Flush out the badly run companies.
The higher rates are really punishing for most of the young people starting out. The most older people are actually benefiting cuz their savings accounts make more money from the higher rates.
I’m so poor working 45 hours a week at $15.00 that interest rates do not affect me at all. I’ll be poor either way if rates are high or low. At least I’m so busy working that I can’t worry about or else I’ll be homeless
You live with you mom or dad. This affects if you wanna own a home . Once one of your family member dies. Joe's biden gonna affect you as well. Don't vote Democrat
In every crisis, there is an opportunity," as the saying goes. The 2024 recession, while challenging, presents unique avenues to amass wealth. First, it's essential to remember Warren Buffet's advice: "Be fearful when others are greedy, and greedy when others are fearful." During recessions, assets often undervalue. By investing wisely in stocks, real estate, or businesses during this downturn, you position yourself for significant returns during the economic recovery. Show less
An obvious way to invest for a recession is to buy shares in businesses that are likely to experience steady demand even in a downturn. Typically, those are consumers staple, utilities and healthcare companies. But of course, such decisions can’t be made by an average joe, a financial advisor is highly recommended in making this decisions..

Pamela Kay Regel is my Advis0r. She has since provided entry and exit points on the securities I concentrate on. If you want to check her out, you may do so online. I usually trade in accordance with her strategy.
Thanks, I just googled her and I'm really impressed with her credentials; I reached out to her since I need all the assistance I can get. I just scheduled a call.
Rate cuts commence in June 2024, taking 6-8 months to complete. A potential crash, if any, might occur by March 2025. The soft landing narrative is gaining traction, making this big recession everyone is calling for less likely. With $1 million from a business sale, I'm seeking profitable investment opportunities for the next 3 years.
The financial market is a reliable choice. Diversify your portfolio with I-bonds, stocks (ETFs, REITs, dividend-paying stocks), and bitcoin. Given your budget, I recommend hiring a fiduciary to ensure you receive professional insights for a fee.
Exactly, a good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisor, but over the past 10years, I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $2 million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure and that's fine by me.
I'm pleased I found this conversation. If you're comfortable with it, could you share how I can get in touch with the advisor you rely on for your investments?

This documentary allowed me to recap the importance of interest rates in the economic lives of families! The Interest Rate: is the amount a lender charges a borrower and is a percentage of the principal - the amount loaned. The lower the interest rate, the more willing people are to borrow money to make big purchases, such as houses or cars. When consumers pay less in interest, this gives them more money to spend, which can create a ripple effect of increased spending throughout the economy. When the interest rate is high, it becomes more expensive for people to borrow money. It can slow down the economy because people have less money to spend. Higher interest rates can also lead to higher inflation, which is when the prices of goods, services, and interest rates rise. Interest rates are put in place by government-owned Central Banks. The Central Bank controls how much money is available in the economy and sets the target interest rate. The Central Bank can buy and sell government bonds to change interest rates. Be completely sure that the production of this type of documentary is relevant! A Productive Week!
Keep keep interest rate high Rise it more PEOPLE NEED TO START SAVING AND STOP BUYING HIGH PRICE BOATS CARS HOMES OTHER HIGH PRISE THINGS. RISE THE RATES FED
Finance policy using interest rates set circles. With balance sheets we learn how these long terms decision affect the questioned economy. Granting consumers limiting productivity need the balance worked by the FED institution.
I think most lnvestors like myself right now are more interested in how we can enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2023. I'm at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $620k stock/bond portfolio, or just wait for favorable times since the market always recover.
Experts are more qualified to offer such specific counsel because the possible benefit increases with risk. So you should consider working with someone reliable.
Yes true, I have been in touch with a brokerage Advisor. With an initial starting reserve of $80k, my advisor chooses the entry and exit commands for my portfolio, which has grown to approximately $550k.
There are a lot of independent advisors you might look into. But i work with HEATHER LEE LARIONI and I have been working together for nearly four years, and she is excellent. You could proceed with her if she satisfies your discretion. I endorse her
Rates need to stay high. 20+ years of free money got us over leveraged, overpriced housing, corporations running amok with stock buybacks, and inflation. We have to pay for years of playing.
Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder
Uhmm Economics 101 states clearly that inflation is managed by a combination of both Monetary policy and Fiscal policy. Why hasn't Fiscal been discussed here?
In this case, split investment is also a great measure. I am not old but I have 3 years of investment experience. I always choose the situation that best suits me to invest with the help of multiple mentors. Blindly going in-depth is not a good method. You need to choose the one that suits you best based on the actual situation.
It takes 12-18 months to change with interest rates. Look at the time period printing all that extra money during Covid. People used that inflated money to buy from closed factories which lead to backlogged supply chain issue. People paying way over market values. . The Fed started to pull back those overcorrected dollars by increasing interest rates. Still have not seen a real change as still low unemployment but cooling economy means layoffs. Higher interest rates means companies starting to pay more for past debt with less dollars for future expansion/innovation. More heavily debt ladened companies feeling the squeeze. With the USA 33 trillion in debt difficult to print more money as inflationary. 2000 and 2008 lowering interest rates helped but high inflation not present. We have had extremely high inflation past 3 years which has compounded every year during those years. Time to pay the Piper. USA took in some 4.7 trillion in taxes last year, I believe. But spent way over 5 trillion. USA keeps borrowing debt. Taxpayers keep subsidizing their income also with credit. Credit card debt historically 1 trillion dollars. People raiding retirement funds early and taking out home equity loans. These are red flags. More car repo’s, Give it back car crisis, and dealerships overstocked with cars, LOT ROT. Homes and Cars too expensive for majority of people. USA use to supersizing but new norm, downsizing. USA becoming expensive similar other countries. We had cheap money for too long. It even started with Bernanke keeping rates too low for too long.
Many companies variable loans, 1, 2, 3, 5 year due dates not 30 year fixed rates like a mortgage. These loans starting to come due. Big 3 auto having a tough time with past debt and further expensive debt with batteries for EV’s.
Banks are still on shaky ground. Lots of commercial properties empty as many did not return to offices. Some converting to apartments. Government very concerned
The gap between poor and rich continues. Most middle wage jobs moved to China. Middle and poor class rarely invest and not enough. They just buy depreciating products from factories vs owning assets that make the depreciating products.
In light of the impending recession and the fact that inflation remains above the federal reserve 2% target in this time of conflicts and war, several leading market analysts have expressed their views on how dire they believe the economy will be, next recession and how far stocks may go. I need advice on what investment to make because i want to build a portfolio for my children that will be worth at least 800,000 dollars
Inflation wasn't as bad until we started this incredible spending spree. The more money we print the less valuable it becomes. You can bs this situation all you want but this is the issue. Until we get rid of naive spending on every county but our own we will continue this dramatic downslide. How much money is our government using for our own good? How much do they profit from lining other leaders pockets? 🤔
That is true. However, a recession is the cure to the bubble. We cannot have a bubble without having the crash. Unfortunately taking the bitter tasting medicine is what is needed. There’s nothing for free in this world.
We don’t need inflation control. Look at history we got out of a Great Depression and a recession. The American people can pay for anything thing. We saved the banking system and we can do it again and again.
Exactly! I live in Germany and It's outrageous to finance a car or house these days. The direct effect of high interest rates. I financed my House, property's and vehicles before the Feds raised the rates. So, I'm not affected. All my loans have fixed interest less than 2.5 Percent. The world is getting worse, not better...
Poorly explained. They didn’t even explained the mechanisms of the Federal rates and how increased rates makes people use their own money instead of borrowing more. Businesses borrow less and thus expand less and thus employ less people. Consumer then buy less and the economy shrinks. All the above take time.
None of this matters if your interest is only people who have money rather than lifting people out of poverty. You’re economy can’t grow beyond some limit if you’re only working for the interest of the haves.
@@Johnrl21 I'm a engineer with a 6 figure job who made it out the hood. Who has a victim mentality here? Everything I have came from hard work. The truth is simply the truth. You couldnt refute what I wrote with facts so you decided to write nonsense about how you feel.
Talking about interest rates for all the wrong reasons. We are seeing inflation right now due to the very obvious money dump increasing the circulating supply of US dollars by 50% over a short course of time and the artificial decrease in supply through shutdowns. 'People saved too much and that's why inflation is high.' 'People's wages are too high and that is why inflation is high.' These are some of the dumbest positions I have heard and clearly deflects from the obvious. If anything, people are not making enough money. The issue right now cannot be solved by increasing interest rates. The only solution is to eat the inflation due to the damage caused from the printing press. We don't have an issue with the misallocation of resources. We don't have an issue with too many people employed (Workforce participation is at its lowest levels since the 1970s). If anything, trying to slow down the economy will make things worse as less goods and services are being produced for the same population. That said. Interest rates should be 5% at a minimum. Four decades of poor fed policy decisions have added up, and correcting those poor decisions is going to be difficult.
Well that was a very disapointing article on a subject that has so many nuances. For example with the high interest rates taking the money out of th,e 'mum and dad" pockets , leaving the ' no money to spend' symdrome, where does the money go! Does it vanish in the revers order to the method it was created, MAGIC, or does it pile up in a corner somewhere, for the priviliaged to help them selves to? I'm giving you a thumbs down for what you left out. Be the profesionals that I expect that you should be, please.
Why interest take so long to affect. The short answer is, the interest rate at current levels has no real macroeconomical effect. The only thing it does is to distribute wealth from people who dont have money to people who already have money. The poor who have loans pay interest to people who have the money on their account.
Yep, Corporate America is betting on the weak mental fortitude of the American buyer. I get it who wants to wait and waste their life until rates go back to 2%. It would be so much better if we had a free market economy! Then the average car wouldn't cost 50K!@@Alpharizzchad
It sounds like you bought into the "long and variable" mantra. In the long run, inflation will be at 3-4 range but your income would grow at the 2% rate.
How does an organization control inflation by raising the interest rate by 2/3/4% when you want to keep inflation under 3% they make their interests. 😂2/3% to keep under control + 2/3/4% interest points that the central bank earns only back the money account equal to 2+2=4/5/6. The rest is their interests central Bank are Casino always Winn.
I've heard that some experts are pointing to factors like rising inflation and this possibility of interest rate getting higher as potential triggers for Treasury market instability. It's making me rethink my investment strategy, especially with my stocks portfolio of $400k

The issue is most people have the "I want to do it myself mentality" but not equipped enough hence get burnt, no offense. In general, Financial Consultants are ideal reps for investing jobs, and at firsthand encounter, since Jan.2020, amidst covid outbreak, my portfolio has yielded massively in ROI, summing up to 7-figures as of today.
Could you share how I can reach out to them? I've recently sold my condo in Alabama and I'm interested in investing in stocks, I'm just seeking proper guidance.
She goes by ‘Stacy Lynn Staples ” I suggest you look her up. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.

*Stocks are falling and bond yields are rising, but markets still don't seem convinced the Federal Reserve will pursue plans to keep increasing interest rates until inflation is under control. I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $150,000 stock portfolio, what's the best way to take advantage of this bear market?*
The key to knowing the state of the economy. Question: Can I afford in the Biden administration what I could afford in the last administration? And the answer is: NO, you cannot. If you are living your life on credit, you do not even own your life.
