I remember picking up an Invincible trade at the library last year. Even though it was in the middle of the series, I still enjoyed it a lot. I'd like to go back and read the whole thing from the beginning.

Yo drake. I got ads about the TV shows. Decided to see if u made a video about it. It looked interesting so I bought it. Im on issue 13 after the first major event. Ive been hooked since issue 3. The dialogue is so good and the world is so rich. It's a slow start kinda like ultimate Spider-man but that makes it better in my opinion

for sure it's one of the best comic :) the writting is good , the artwork are great ; Cory Walker grown so much into it just like Ryan Ottley too . Having less than 3 illustrators on this is a BIG plus , you dont get lost . I must say i wouldnt give a chance to Invincible if one my best friend didn't show me the 1st issue and the later issue in 2011 , i saw the evolution of the lines and colors , i have to give this comic a chance . And I was stucked to it , i like the way he is funny , the way he doubt , the way he has complicity and tenderness with Eve , the fights are awsome , where marvel and Dc just show ripped clothes and blood at the corner of the mouth , Invincible show pain and damages ! Robert does not play that much with alternative world and do not what dc and marvel does like bringing back characters or playing with space /future/old/young invicible , you never lost the character in sight and that 's a great value ! i can talk for it for days

Yes, outside of my favorite DC and Marvel characters INVINCIBLE is easily my third choice for greatest story, NEXUS would be fourth. I could see this becoming the next big thing in animated story telling. A live action movie would be next after lots of exposure to the general audiences. And don't forget the wonderful action figures and other accessories with good marketing. Not to mention how high the value of my INVINCIBLE comics collection would skyrocket. Thanks for the review Drake.

I think I'll be checking out the first 4 volumes of thieve of thief's because after volume four I don't think he wrote the comic after that.

Who here-after find out Invincible get an animated TV Show on Prime Video?

Asking all you guys who likes this: what do you like about it? Because I read up to the chapter where his dad is on another planet with bugs. The journey to get here was pretry boring, lack luster, with nothing happening in between. I mean sure things build up, but the pay off is the worst shit or literally non-existent. Its similar to Hellboy but with incompetent writting.

Because.....it is....hoping Jellybean Dream becomes a close 2nd

I am not sure if I would like invincible or not. I've NEVER read a comic book before and I would like to start but I don't know where. Also I'm more of a Marvel fan rather than DC (I've seen almost every MCU movie)

Have you read /watched Berserk? I'd recommend watching it first, either the 1997 anime or the 3 movies.I think that, is the best work of fiction, it's so God damn amazing

I remember watching this video three years ago and had just started comic collecting. Reading Invincible was always on my to do list. When it was announced the Amazon show was coming out, I knew that now was the great time to do so. I’m on issue 128 of the 3rd Compendium book and it hasn’t even been a month since I started with compendium 1. It’s such a great series and I’m glad I finally go into it.

Invincible is a deconstruction of the genre, but why it's so great is because it also lifts the idea of a universe of heroes up as well. Almost the exact opposite of Watchmen, like two sides of a literary masterpiece coin.

Deconstruction? Questioning morality and having to do the evil thing for the greater good? Very dark with comedy when needed? Can't talk about and analyze without spoiling? Sounds like Alan Moore.

Invincible is for me the best American comic book about superheroes ever . Invicible is everything I was expecting from superman and spiderman. It's so God damn good ! Also , if you guys want to know more about the world of invincible you gotta read , Brit , techjacket, wolfman, Atom Eve and Red red spode, invicible universe , superpatriot "America fighting force and Capes . You don't have to read them to enjoy invincible but you will know a lot more about the invincible verse.

I watched the show first because I had no idea but I’m getting into the comics very seriously and I love it so much i went into it knowing what was gonna happen at some point but everything after is a surprise and I love it bc unlike marvel and dc you have no idea what your going into I will say they do have some rip offs kind of but i don’t mind it because they’re all different especially Omni man
