I actually met Robert Downey In person, This was around 6 years ago. I was in the hospital getting my appendix removed. I was walking for my daily exercise since it was my day after surgery and I was still in the hospital. I was like 13 or 14 at the time, then I was walking by an elevator when all of a sudden it opened with a bunch of people inside and Robert Downey JR was there and he walked out and it seemed that no one inside the elevator knew who he was. I noticed him since I was a die hard marvel fan lol and shouted "IRON MAN!" He quickly turned to me and I gathered the attention of everyone else around and no one knew who that is or what was going on since they were all old people 😂😂. It seemed as if he did not want to blow his cover so he quickly walked away without saying a word to me. I think what was happening was that he was seeing a kids last wish to meet his/her hero Tony Stark and that is why maybe he was there. Memorable moment.

Yeah, base Iron Man probably doesn't have a shot, but he does have a couple of armors that compete with gods that could shit on MG.

A suggestion for another fight breakdown between a giant robot and a superhero: Giant Mechanical Spider (Wild Wild West) VS Blue Beetle's Bug Ship (DCEU) They're perfect adversaries for each others. Both are giant mechanical bugs that are used as vehicles and equipped with all sorts of weapons.

Heres the problem for MG.... Tony is small enough to easily get inside the mech and start wrecking shop. It's like you or I trying to fight off a virus... except that virus is a bullet that's working its way all around our insides tearing up everything as it goes with repulsors, lasers and Jarvis. MG really has no shot here once Tony gets inside... and he absolutely will get inside.

Since MechaGodzilla is all about power & designed to take nuclear level heat, Tony can either use devices to drain the power sources of MechaGodzilla, or hack the electronics inside to shut him down. Then Tony still could bring in the Godkiller armor to fight him. But quickest & easiest, would be to just shut down the electronics & control systems, which the operators of it wouldn't have a defense against.

Iron Man probably would win by hacking into it. If not then he could just throw a bunch of armors at MG until he's finally put down. I'd be interested in MechaGodzilla vs Metal Sonic

Well, you know what else is outside of Iron-Man's norm? Huh? FACING MECHA-GODZILLA BY HIMSELF. Danco said it himself, Iron Man wins, and then makes a case where MechaGodzilla beats a version of Iron Man who is not using his best armors suitable to the task.

This battle is indeed not even fair, but in no instance does MG easily beat iron man. Using a composite version of both characters but excluding iron mans dozens or so universe level armours and including all of MG strongest feats? Yeah that’s indeed not fair. It’s also completely pointless to just mention brute strength, endurance, weapons and speed. Cuz what is way more important is those attributes in relation to the fighter itself: so in relation to size, intelligence, experience,… it’s easier to hit a target moves at mach 50 but is kaiju size, than sth that moves at mach 25 but is human size. Tony’s intellect waaaaaaayyy surpasses both MG and Gman together, so analysing their opponent? Hacking each other? Exploiting weaknesses? Tony’s got Mg beat everywhere.

Only critique I might be able to put is it obviously depends on which version of iron Man you're talking about You're talking about some of iron Man's more OP armors or his most powerful armors I believe there might be some debate but if you're talking his not OP armors yeah there's no question but if you're talking his celestial buster armor Asgardian based armors that might be a different story but still it'd be definitely interesting The most powerful iron Man armor versus the most powerful Godzilla Mecca I'd paid watch that

The MCU Iron Man is the one in my mind here. Even Hulk Buster not gonna win a brute force attack. But Mechagodzilla is technology even with the biological aspect. Tony’s nanotechnology and advanced AI has a better than average chance to overcome the Mecha aspect and in effect isolate the biological. Just like Peter did to Doc Ock.

It would be a great battle. However, I still think the one thing that Tony has over Mecha Godzilla is his incredible intelligence. Mecha Godzilla is a machine and basically runs off of a program. Tony would win this battle because of mind over muscle.
