Byju’s called my young brother and told him to join them because SRK is their brand ambassador. My young brother replied, “Uncle wo toh Vimal ki bhi ad karte hain, toh kya wo bhi kha lun?” 😂
I am a dropper student for jee... Few days ago I got a call from a Byjus salesperson... They asked me from where am I doing my jee preparation... When I told them I have taken a batch from pw... Their behavior suddenly changes... They started to force me to take their course by trying to convince me that cheap courses of pw can never compete with costly courses... But when I refused him... He becomes angry and started saying that I won't be successful... They disturbed so much that I have to block their no..... Such a disgusting behavior of byjus salesperson.... They need to respect customer's choice 🙂
I know how tough life a coder has. When I was contacted by them for my daughter. I simply told them - let my child remain a child and enjoy her childhood as world is competitive ahead and I dont want to ruin my daughter's childhood by letting her into the pressure. There is an age for everything, and when the right time comes, she will find out what she needs. In my opinion, as a parent we should provide an atmosphere where the child is not overwhelmed and overburdened.
This is the mentality what parents should have. They are being fooled into ruining their own children's future. Thankyou for being so understanding and mature it's very rare to encounter a person such as you. Your child will thank you in future.
@@madhusmitasahu4968 I think these parents are fooled by their advertising gimmicks. Saw an advert where a leading actor says that three kids made some apps and why not your kid. The parents think that it is a short cut to gain name and fame. But fail to realize that name and fame does come with limitations. And kids that young should not be overburdened.
Byju's from the start was focused only on sales, sales, sales. I don't know the system now, but back in 2018, I was in mumbai and my flatmates worked with Byju's in Sales. They had to call first half of the day to book appointments and trial classes with "experts". Then second half of the day and Saturday, they themselves guised as the "experts" would then go to these addresses to give trial classes where they were specifically told by managers to show that their kid is slow. If a class 6 kid, is answering all questions correctly, ask them class 8,9 or 10 questions. Then sell them the course. They knew somehow if you had an iPhone or a Bajaj finserv card, then the quotes had to be higher and persistant to ensure sales no matter what. That was the day I knew that this company may or may not be successful, but it definitely will never have my respect or money.
They used very dirty tricks to sale their products. They play with students emotions, parents insecurities and grab a whole chunk of wealth from their bank account.
They took around 3 lakh rupees for my Tuition in 8th, 9th and 10th and all they did was teach the freaking same thing my teachers in school taught me. I'm not a bad person but I think they deserve it🙂.
I payed 45,000rs for ttn from class 8th to 10th. I got no benifit out of it. Their doubts asking process is horrible. Recorded video classes are so he'll damn boring. Except biology classes I didn't like any of their classes
It was the year 2017 when I completed my BBA and wanted to do MBA from a good college. Coming from a closed-minded family and not-so-developed city, buying CAT preparation modules in tablet from Byjus felt like the right thing to do. I spent a whopping 25K on this. And trust me that is a lot for a middle-class family. Within a week I found out that I have received very old material from Byjus which has no relevance to the current exam pattern. I tried contacting their customer care team many times, but they just played games and didn't resolve the issue. Byjus didn't just fail me with their product, but they failed me in my career in unexplainable ways.
It's so heart breaking to read such reviews (peoples feelings, emotions) 💔 I was supposed to report (join) at Buyju's as a BDA but after the all the aspects of sh*t company I'm not gonna join, Though I'll accept to remain unemployed and hear lot's of from family and society rather than playing with peoples hard blood-earned money their emotions their future😓 I'm soft hearted person My heart isn't giving consent to fullfill my dreams over thousands of people's cry.
@KUMAR ABHIJEET It's not just about money, it's about her life. Which could've been different if she has taken material from the right sources she could've been in a better place in her life.

Reasons: 1. Over confidence 2. Spending on Brand Ambassador 3. Pandemic is no longer 4. People like me prefer in-person classes, not online 5. Online classes are completely waste for kids 6. Videos they showing are available for free everywhere 7. High prices
For me, the first and foremost reason is, they had an expensive product that added zero value. Buju's app(not WHJ) just had recorded video of school syllabus. When you have a real school, real teachers who take live classes and clear questions, why get an expensive tution that doesn't talk to you personally or answer your questions. Just zero value added.
We bought a Byju's subscription about 6 years back for both me and my brother, when he was in 6th standard and I was in 9th. Their 'counselor' came to our house, talked with our parents for a few hours and asked us a bunch of utter nonsense where he had to counter each of our answer with a different theory. I was quite shy then, so got along with whatever he said. Ultimately, he impressed our father with the concept of 'Byju's visual learning' and we bought the course from 7-12 grade with their special tablets. It was nothing extraordinary, our school teachers taught the same way. One could understand the stuff, but there was no means one could actually answer a question the way supposed to in exams. Just studying theory never helps. It was okay till class 10, but completely useless in 11th and 12th. The tablets were shitty too, and stopped working withing two years of usage. It costed us a lot of money, and now that I have completed my schooling and my brother is in 11th, I can say that Byju's never had a share in our good marks, ever. It's time-consuming, costly and much less effective than they claim it to be. I hope people understand this and invest somewhere helpful. Best wishes.
Though it is very costly and give bad quality tab but the way they is good at least better than school. The pre recorded video are good but there doubt solving service is very bad it very time consuming
Byjus is so pathetic that they have started targeting parents at mall. Can't imagine an edtech company trying to reach out to parents at malls. Scaring them how their child will be last in the race of life if they don't join Byjus.
Thats what happened to my small brother, Parents went to mall happy then came back worried about by brother's future. They basically inject Fomo into parents.
2:15 "Kids of 6 - 7 years were landing jobs at Google". The moment I saw adverts like that, my mind immediately realized that it was all bogus. The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) in the US prohibits anyone from working at a job if they under the age of 14. How can Google violate this fundamental law and hire a 7 year old, especially if it is a US registered company? Every company has such a form of Child Labor act in place, so nowhere is it possible to hire a 7 year old as a coder.
@@sakusas_maskk cause they are scam their course is full shit. It's just their councillors who sells fake dreams to parents and students And I know cause I too lost my father's 72000 to them for jee prep and now I am studying from physics wallah
let me tell you a real and personal story of mine. I was in class 10th when i met a byju's salesmen in my friends home. I also thought to sit there. here comes the main thing, he started asking his questions to me and my friends which were obv a little higher level of what we study till 10th, but i still managed to answer many of them. now his marketing strategy of SCARING PARENTS was failing , but still he said that our level is very low as compare to kids of bigger town and we won't be able to crack any COMPETITIVE EXAM if we didn't change our study ways (basically buy our subscription or you will never be successful), i was very demotivated back then. Two years later I cracked JEE MAINS and now going to study in NIT NAGPUR without any bjyus or akash help. f*ck that salesperson and byjus .
Byju himself was a great teacher. Some of my friends attended his CAT coaching back in 2008(when he started). He was extremely good at quant and most of my friends(who were not that good in quant) went to premium institutes. When it became a corporation, the pressure for profit came which destroyed content first strategy.
I'm a professional software developer and I was surprised to see the entire WhiteHat Jr. and Pradeep Punia episode unfold the way it did. I hope people learn to love the process rather than the end goal which is often hyped in predatory marketing practices of such soulless companies. Yes, it is true that coding can pay well. However, just like all aspects of life, it has its own challenges. At the end of the day, it comes down to individual's resolve. Moreover, what is more disturbing is the fact that these unrealistic claims put an unwarranted pressure on children and their parents. Something that can't be good in the long run. Byju ought to fail. For the greater good of the society.
tbh, I don't want an average kid to go through the pressure of coding at such a young age. If you enjoy coding, no matter what age you are, you will master it eventually.
i am a class 11student currently learning css and html at my on pace i also want become a software engineer .Sir please can give me some tips . By the way I love to code
And how pathetic that is that they need to say to parents that their kid is slow and stupid unless they subscribe with them. I don’t personally believe in forcing coding skills to my child unless she is herself very interested. Let the children be - children. Their intellect will develop over time. Also not everyone needs to be a tech geek. There are creative skills that could be explored.
As a parent I felt a lot of peer pressure to enrol my child in whitehat Jr. But being computer literate, I knew that this course made the children a one trick pony. People would pay upwards of 40k inr only to end up seeing their children make a diwali greeting page with unimpressive graphics. Happy to see that parents are realising this scam. Great coverage of the situation Mohak
Recently i got a so-called counselling call from byjus for my younger brother who is currently in 10th and they scheduled a 1 hour meeting in the evening even after continuously refusing to talk ... They asked to bring the parents along and started asking him questions some of which were easy but some were very tough and conceptual that usually a student is not capable of answering ...... Then he shared the results with the parents and slowly started brainwashing them and then started giving general information about entrance exams like jee and neet that already everybody knows thanks to the internet and after about half an hour he was successful in convincing my parents to buy their 2.2 lakhs course for preparation of entrance exams ( which includes the 10th class as well as they say it ) .... But less did he knew that i being an elder brother from the same family had already been frauded to buy their 1.5 lakh course of only recorded low quality lectures when I was in my 10th class so we told him that we would think about the offer and switched off the call .... See the problem is that it's not even the counsellors fault ....it's their job and they earn food from it but the higher authorities needs to be interrogised which promote these kinds of highly expensive courses which are seriously not worth this much ....i belong to an upper middle class family so if i weren't there most probably my mom would have bough the course like she did for me 2 years back because nowadays no parent wants to compromise with their child's education..... As a matter of fact i haven't studied a single lecture from that byjus course that i paid 1.5 lakhs for because much much better content is available on RU-vid for FREE and there are cheaper but still far better courses available like physics wallah and even i would say unacademy recently and both of them have superb teachers even on RU-vid for Free but BYJUS is scamming people on a whole different level ....hope the situation gets better and every body should know about these legal scams ..... Thanks Mohak for making such videos on useful topics.... Btw i have written this comment before even watching the video because I already know the reason so i might edit it later on and add a few more points as needed ......thanks for reading 🙃🙃
@@Beautiful-life101 there was no fee for trail class .... They are already struggling to sell their courses....in fact the salesperson was kind of begging us to buy their highly expensive courses... I pay 1500 to my kids maths tuition teacher. She has 5 such students. And she teaches with so much interest. Takes extra classes during exams. My kid got over fear for maths and feeling more confident. Improved to a decent level. Kannada tuition teacher takes 1000/- Not just language, she talks to her like another mother, laughs and tells stories once in a while. This is what learning is.
Byju's is a disgustingly unethical company. Most of its sales associates slip into depression either because of the poor families they manipulate into spending thousands for a sub-par service or incessant pressure from their managers. Not to mention how unethically they inflate their CTC so graduates may ditch other firms for them
its a shame for our country if such toxic companies emerge in india. i hope byjus soon gets downed. not becoz i am jealous of them, but becoz they trap poor people for taking loans. btw do you know, byjus has partnership with some banks to give loan to poor families.
This is very true. I was their sales executive for over 1.5 years and quit out of pure disgust and guilt of working for a company that doesn't give a damn about anything but sales. I am at least glad that I never conned any parent into purchasing the program when I knew that they can't afford it. I fell into depression though. Struggling to find a way out now!
Dark reality of byjus Aakash Sub paise k bhuke h what I feel their at aakash and what I saw....is heart breaking I remembered one of my friend went with me to take module target 4. And the faculty didn't gave him because his last month fee was due. He requested multiple times that's his father's condition is not good now but for sure next month he will pay the fee.. but yet The faculty didn't provide giving sense less reason like sorry beta I can't. 1st u have to pay then only I can give u. The management is very strict sorry beta I can't..... And my friend was too upset.. Now u guys can understand what I want or mean to say.. all are just greedy of money... their moto is just to fool lots of student and they... didn't care about your future.... !

Let me narrate a funny incident between my mom and byju's salesman. Few days back my sister and my I came back from school and was about have our lunch, when someone rang the door bell. My mom opened the door and there was two byju's salesman. She was already known to the irritating nature and Lecture of those salesman. Byjus was more concerned in its sales rather than user satisfaction. They would care less about problems their existing customers faced and irritated those who might have become potential customer only if they pitched the correct way. I remember the first time one of the salesman called my parents, they basically gave a analysis of my academic strength based on a 5 minute quiz I did on their app. The salesman tried his best to create FOMO and make my parents feel that I'm lagging behind than other kids in the generation (but my parents aren't the one easy to be brainwashed). I never used Byjus app after that, NEVER (I still sometimes refer to their online ncert book solutions tho, the only part of Byjus I respect). The motive behind building Byjus was great but the implementation and lack of user retention + user centered service resulted in its failure.
Once I received a call from byjus ..they said that this is for counselling purpose and we will guide you for your future plan. I am a commerce student. He fixed a meeting on zoom. When I introduced myself I said I am a commerce student and want to become CA. He was constantly telling me to pursue UPSC again and again (because at that time they only provides classes for jee, neet & UPSC). I said but I don't want to I've already set my mind. He tried to convince me saying "civil servant earn more than corporates and also they get many perks other than salary. You will take 6-7 year to become CA but if you prepare for UPSC with your graduation you will be able to crack UPSC in your first attempt. " That's when I realised how fake they are.I mean imagine UPSC students work hard for so long and he was saying that I can do UPSC preparation and 3 year graduation at the same time and will be able to crack UPSC in first attempt. I just managed to end the call anyhow.
I myself have 6 attempts to clear Byju's interview and finally got a job as Business Development executive but I could not bare the environment for more than 10 days and I had to say bye. Even now I feel happy about my decision and I felt how a belief about something can be broken so quickly. To be frank BYJU'S is fooling around with parents and children. If parents really want to improve their child's education they can appoint a good mentor for the cost of paying Byju’s or can even send them to tution classes where there is a quality education is given or supported. Finally people who are reading this please don't fall for such companies fake promise of giving you hopes of a better future and salary end of the day you won't get any.
The actual reason that I left Byjus is that I couldn't manipulate poor parents for the sake of money who wanted to give better education and life in the name of good or extra marks by making both parents and children believe that a child is weak in a perticular subject intentionally, strongly and making them believe that Byju’s is the only solution to come out of it by trapping them in this belief and snatching money out of them.

Ed-tech and private coaching in India have been a disaster. These are symptoms of an overall disease that is in large : a mediocre education system. On the other hand, India needs more core sector research startups for the greater good of India and its people. Aerospace is a new booming field thanks to incentives given by the various government initiatives, however, we are very much lacking in other core sector fields, both in terms of startups and wages.
Ed -tech startups are a disease in the name of startups they are basically cashing out money by fooling higher middle class parents in the name of modern education. India needs core sector startups but the cost of starting manufacturing startups is really high Indian government literally put discouraging taxes in manufacturing equipments while encouraging this sham ed-tech businesses with tax benefits . One recession period and all the wealth of this kind of companies will be wiped out .

Online teaching is a revolution. It's way better than traditional classroom teaching in many aspect. Other than classroom teaching, school offers a lot more, until college I don't want kids to be at home. Especially for students preparing for competitive examination, it's a boon.
I'm an IT professional and honestly it's not possible for 6 y/o to develop Android application. Coding is not joke it takes good logic and time to master.
When I was in 9th class in 2012.. my tuition teacher misguided me.. I wanted to go to AIIMS and later become neurosurgeon. In 9th SA1 I scored highest in all 4 sections...But she said "Arey Abhi toh app bohot piche ho, itna competition h, aap toh aese bol rhe ho ki bohot easy ho" that demotivated as hell... In entire 10th I carried negative mindset.. In 11th I went to Kota..but I thought I am already behind competition.. I returned from Kota ... I ruined my life.
neurosurgeon bolna kitna asan he ?? let's check reality neet ug - cut throat competiton. chalo man liya mil gya admission . but private me mila to 1 sal ki fees 10 lakh matalb - 50 lakh total . then neet pg - more difficult than neet ug ( right now i am in this phase ) . private medical college ki fees 25 lakh per year . so total 75 lakh . then neet ss exam - most difficult . will cost u 1 cr . Agar tum mbbs me hi le nhi skte to government to tum kbhi neuro ban nhi skt
well it is easy to put blame on someone else for your mistakes and laziness . lets consider that you ruined you 10th because of that teacher but saying that you ruined your 11th Also because of her words is bullshit . Stop lying to yourself
lol this is just an excuse of rich spoilt people to discourage poor students .byju is failing because they simply loot look at physics wallah its thriving it will thrive because majority of indian cant afford our so called expensive traditional classroom
Classroom teaching along with online teaching will be more effective. Because students can access more learning resources and use animations, diagrams to understand concepts more easily.
Byjus took 1.5 lakh in the name of of that i have won some scholarship and when their salesman came to our home he was just focused on my little brother bcs i was already going to pass 10th i guess he convinced our parents to buy it and we did . My father still cries over this wastage of money. I hope we recover soon
Last year around the ending of my 10th grade the byjus people started calling us all of a sudden (For context I already had a two year subscription plan (total waste and I stopped using it within two months) and it was about to end). They wanted to give me some books with previous years questions and asked to meet at their office. We went their two times and got no response. In the end my father got angry and they said that they will come to our house instead. One of their employee came and started to give this long presentation about his achievements and his bronze medal and of course the complimentary sob story. After all that the real deal began and he started to talk about Aakash and their coaching and how mahaan and all that they are. He gave me his laptop to try out a few questions and I knowingly randomly picked the answers (I still got 4/10). He wasn't satisfied and deterred and then gave me 4th standard questions which I obviously got all correct. He then proceeded to send THAT result to god knows where. Then he started to grill my mother about their course and how it will only cost us 2.5 lakhs and how there were only a couple of seats left and that we need to hurry. I quickly intervened and send him off to talk about it to my father instead. My father sat him down and the proceeded to grill HIM instead. They never called us back again. Moral of the story: Byjus is a scam and it'll teach you shit. And oh, they also told me that I can't clear NEET/JEE without their help. I should've said that I was going to take Humanities instead. Fuck Byjus, fuck Aakash
I am a maths and physics tutor and one fine day a Byju sales guy met the parents of one of my students, this student was very bright and was among the top 5 in her class. Later the student told me that throughout the meeting the sales guy tried his best to show that my student was ill prepared and also that she needed "expert" guidance. This is classic fear-based marketing. The sales guy was being a rubberneck and was looking everywhere in their house to assess the financial status of the family. I told them the sales guy did that because that is how they are coached by their managers who are in turn abused by their seniors if targets are not achieved. The emphasis is not on teaching it is rather on how much money can be siphoned off from the parents by inducing fear of their children's performance.
As a software developer , I will say let the students enjoy their childhood and don't just drag them in coding in such a small age , coding on such platforms like white hat junior and coding when you enter in co-operate life is a totally different concept . You eventually learn when you get in , yes concepts should be clear , but not at such a small age ...
Byju's used to give me nightmares. When I was in 9th std., I once stumbled upon a byju's video on RU-vid while searching for a good explanatory video on some topic in chemistry. The byju's person was teaching better than my school teacher so I went looking for more of their tutorials. That's when they might've asked me for my e-mail and Phone number and to have access to the tutorials, I just gave my info (I gave my mother's number coz I didn't own my own phone back then). Since then I used to always be on high alert about my mom's phone ringing. The sales guys would call 2-3 times per day and try their best to trick me into letting my mother have a talk with them. I was always too scared because if only once my father would have known about it, he would have disallowed me from using his laptop at all. Those were some horrible experiences byju's gave me and I not just dislike, but HATE byju's for scaring children and parents to death. Byju's intent isn't good at all. Hate you byju's. Just fall !
There's a saying in bengali - "Ghore nei noon, chele amar Mithoon" meaning don't have enough resources to meet the basic needs but pretends to be super rich to the world. Applies to Byju's so well.
I worked as a Salesperson in Byjus for quite some time and eventually gave it up following a series of sales I did unethically after my manager had pressurised me to do so. Watching the fall of byjus is so satisfying.
I am 14, same happened with me . One Day While I was Returning home after picking my small brother from The school A Byjus Sales-spoke Person came to me and Asked about my schooling,Tuitions etc... Then he asked my Mobile No. I said That I hv just Bought a New number and I didn't had the phone(I was Joking) but even if I had the mobile i would have refused to give my number because I already knew he was from byju's and I had knew byju's Toxic Marketing Then The person was kind of Angry but since there was huge crowd There Those 2 people walked without telling me anything Really I Felt Very frightened there And thought they would force me to take them to my house and talk with my parents Good that Byju's Is Falling and it should Karma never fails
When i was in class 11th i purchased the subscription of byjus for the preparation of neet which was very costly and i swear as a teenager till now it was my biggest mistake which i have made in my life and i still regret it , all the lectures which u get were all recorded and if u missed any lecture by chance then u have to request ur mentor for it and he/she will provide u that lecture after around 3 days also the teachers solve ur doubts on chat like how can someone solve ur doubts on chats especially of physics and chem , their pace of teaching is so fast that they completed class 11th portion and started to teach of class 12th while i was still in class 11th. Now i am just totally dependent on pw for my preparation and seriously guys byjus is a total scam on the name of teaching.
People need to understand that not everything is made for everyone. The same goes for *CODING* . I'm coding for 5 years now (python❤, js, dart) Ek error nikalne me pura ka pura din nikal jata hai aur ye log ek saal me developer bna rhe the 🥲 Coding isn't that easy ki bs syntax seekh liya.. boom I'm a developer. Coding requires full dedication and hard work just like any other field. Instead of forcing children to learn new skills(due to any hype), one should try to strengthen the fundamentals of *Education* . (health, discipline, humanity ethics, teamwork)
Just 2 months back, a BYJU's sales executive came to one of my cousins and since his parents had no idea about BYJU's so he asked me to talk to them. It was around 3 hours long talk on " HOW POOR THE CHILD IS IN STUDIES".I wonder how much his parents would have scolded him after that sales executive went back.

Well this happened to me I took a white hat jr trial course in COVID And on the very first day Without teaching any basics the teacher With her knowledge made me built an game That was very cool Though i didn't get shit I was thinking i was not enough smart to get that And my mom was so close to buying it But i disagreed My best decision i had taken Now i learned Java script with just 500 at udemy at 15 yrs of age

Honestly one underrated part of this which has always confused me about Byjus (and not discussed in this video) is them acquiring Aakash. Aakash is primarily an offline coaching institute. Byjus is an online ed tech platform. There's literally a conflict of interest here. I can't fathom how one business won't cannibalise the other. They will both be targeting the same audience with two conflicting products. Diversification is one thing, but having your own product cannibalise your other product is frankly insane to me. Also wow, I had no idea that Byju's system was one to one classes. Because for ed tech that's absolutely insane, and I cannot fathom how that can remotely be sustainable. It takes away the M from MOOC. The whole reason that makes online ed tech more affordable and viable. Byju's model is literally more expensive than traditional classes and tuition centers, due to the frankly insane 1:1 student : teacher ratio.
I am studying engineering in CS and let me tell you, most of my classmates still don't know how binary search works and these companies were making 10 year old app developers. LOL
bcoz they never tried to understand. Other wise how difficult it is divide the array in half and decide whether answer lies in left part and right, then divide it till you reach at answer
Byjus is nothing more different than the spam calls you get. I was weak at maths in school, would either fail or struggle. So got admitted to a local tution point which was famous. Single math teacher who was in his late 30s taught us. Around 200+ students, took around 150 from each for a month. I never failed after this infact I would either get 80s or 90s with 100s too! He was a math God. Single handedly raised the % of math marks in our school. Except 2 people everyone passed 10th math. And there shits like byjus.
Congratulations students now slowly slowly Education business is being stopped✨ Good job Mohak👏👏 First time ever..by heart tysm for 150 likes..🔥🔥✨ Happy Dusshera to my all fellow citizens🖤🍻
Education isn't charity, it's a business and that's how it will always be. But Byju's unreasonable pricing and bad practices will finally come to an end.
@Jennifer no doubt PW ke kuchh teachers achhe hai but PW ka jo rapid expansion hai....that is scary...kota me unke itne enrollments hai ki utne teachers hi available nhi....surely the quality is going to be low....iss saal ke hi PW ke results check kar lo despite lakhs of students in PW low results hai.....and if you are thinking ki revenue aa raha to teachers bhi aa jayenge ...bruh they are opening branches like upscwala, commercewala and in sbke kharche JEE aur NEET ke jeb se hi aayenge
Hello Mohak sir, I recently passed out 12th student, My dream was to became an IITian, after 10th class as there was Corona pandemic outbreak, I downloaded the byjus learning app, After 14 days , many calls came from byjus, forced my parents to buy the course, my parents bought it thinking that it might be good. After taking JEE course from byjus I faced problems like no doubt clearing, concept wasn't clear, mistakes in byjus books, etc. As a result I was unable to crack JEE. Pls make a video of the byjus's resources or performance which is not enough for JEE.
I remember back in 2018 I took a course of byju's and then another one which I claimed it for free through an app , after my 2018 experience with Byju's I never wanted to join back again but I did thinking it would not matter and just take a trial. And out off 3 classes only 1 class was attended by me where I myself claim that I did not perform well. Later on getting a call from the counsellor him saying that I performed very good and gave all the answers right, and asked me for a counselling session which was for free, at first I rejected but I was about to change my decision when that person started becoming rude, he started speaking in a very rude manner trying to make me feel guilty for not taking the counselling session and all the way of their speaking and the words that they are using is absolutely not right it really made me get tears and after this they said they won't bother but every single day they keep calling through random unknown numbers it's already been almost 2-3 months but they still keep bothering. THIS IS ALSO A REASON WHY THEY ARE GOING DOWN THE STAFF NEEDS TO UNDERSTAND OUR SITUATION TOO AND COORPERATE!
I am happy to see that this bastardous company is going down like I got a call from Byjus and the salesman said like 1:30 minutes after I received the call “You seem weak in English” and I said “No, I am not weak, I usually don't speak in Hindi and you are doing the same so that won't seem good like You speaking another language and Me speaking another” and He said “YOU SEEM WEAK, BUY OUR SUBSCRIPTION!!!!!” and I was still calm because well I don't want to speak shit to a salesperson but he crossed the limit so I hung up and when he called again, I put all my anger into him like probably he went into depression after that I think so
There's no karma here. It was designed to be a scam. A big, pre-planned, "legalised" scam with a quick loot and a quick exit. One cannot expect all the children of a *country* to become geniuses after taking just a few courses. Of any kind. The level of genetic engineering needed to do that is currently science fiction. It is impossible to believe that all the founders, top executives, and even investors actually believe that education can work like this. They are all in it for the quick money at the expense of gullible or uneducated parents. It will not be a scam if and only if all the parents are repaid their money. I bet a 100 bucks that the founders and majority shareholders will flee to a tax haven like British Virgin Islands or Neville and St Kitts within the next 5 years. Like Nirav Modi or Vijay Mallya.
As a teacher when byju was launched informed many parents of my students not to fall in trap, all that can be learnt free online, the apps and all are free on the internet, and the course they are teaching is worth nothing without basics. Many went for the advertisement thing an joined just like election time political parties putting their photos everywhere. Now the truth everyone knows.
exactly, One of the biggest reasons is reopening of schools and other institutions post covid. My sis was using online education portals and services during covid. Yes, she was able to complete her academic year but at the cost of constant headaches, eye strains/black eyes, sedentary life, gaining fat, etc. No kids wants to go through that again. She still takes help of these online services but occasionally, when in doubt. And for that too, someone on youtube has those topics covered for free!!!
Byjus actually hit the earnings of local tuition teachers.. unemployment grew more. Those who saying that falling of byjus will hurt the employees jobs, they never thought about those tuition teachers. Who by teaching locally earned 6-10k and run family.. more the money spread is better the growth of the country. Also, people must think that online studies is not enough. There must be interaction, between teacher and students as well as with co students. This grows the student all round..
@@arindamdutta9371 Nice observation that kids learn from their environment and peers. I was surprised that why not many prefer watching MIT, Stanford, CMU videos-probably, it's not top-down

Jab tak market main RU-vid free Hain tab tak byjus jaisi company kabhi bhi age nahi badengi. RU-vid has a hell lot of contributed in my personal development.
Thank God I grew up in the 90's. It decreased the chance of having more options. And never took a tution till 10th standard and became self sufficient.
I have worked in Byjus, I have not seen such a bad company anywhere, I told my manager while leaving the job that your company will be ruined one day because you are fooling all the people, He said that we have a lot of money, I laughed and postponed his talk but now I will send this video to him
On one hand there are conpanies like byju's which are spending huge sums of money for marketing whereas pw on other hand which course fee is very very less and its growth is almost organic(without much marketing) Hatsoff to teachers like Alakh Sir🙏🙏
Wahi na Bhai Alakh sir old lectures of 9,10,11 and 12th are much better than crap lectures provided by byjus Edit :- Also they are FREEEE to watch on RU-vid

Once I was in a mall where one of those salesperson came up to my father and started asking about my academic level and told me how I should get byju's or "I won't be able to compete in real world". But my dad said "we don't need it she's smart enough" LOL. Byju's really need to stop these weird schemes to try and lore in more students. One of the things that might be bad for them in the long run is the bad reputation they have gotten.
Byju's is the worst course you can ever take I am very serious about this My dad got it for me and we had regrets later They say the classes will be live and you can interact with the teacher But NO The thing is they just play a recorded video And you have no control in that you cannot pause it or play it nothing If I will talk about the interaction They provide a small chat box Where you can ask your doubts during the class But man!!!! The class is live and i cannot pause it If I will ask the doubt i will miss the upcoming part of video Horrible experience Don't even think about enrolling yourself or your children on this platform. PLEASE!!!!
Schools are teaching good coding skills only a person have to give attention to class I have learnt most of coding from school and I am proud that my school is government and fee's was also low
i wish my school which is taking tons fees actually taught coding well enough, they have always tried to complete the syllabus and taught us horribly, me and my friends learned coding from other online courses
An quick government intervention is much needed in all EdTech Startups to regulate their fees. Startups like these manipulates parents & exaggerate about their courses results which leads to increasing in the basic education cost. Education is not a luxury, its a necessity.
Hi Mohak,I love your content. I would request you to make a video on the economic position of my land, Kashmir. You see a large amount of money comes from the Centre to Kashmir, but most of it is spent on the army especially the CRPF and BSF here and not in the favour of common Kashmiris. This is a bitter reality. Also, after the Abrogation of Article 370,kashmiris were hoping to take advantage of the Central welfare schemes and the other Schemes that Centre had launched in here but the money reserved for such projects doesn't seem to reach us at all. Due to Political instability and lack of trust between Kashmiris and Centre, a lot of corruption has occurred in here. As the Centre had loose ties and no real control over the region, Corruption has risen. The money allocated for us goes into the pockets of these Corrupt officals rather than for our benefit. Also, the Abrogation of Article 370 has made the local economic conditions unstable. There was lockdown for over 9 months and all buisness was shut, so a lot of kashmiris became Bankrupt and Drug abuse has risen by a huge amount. Please, if possible make a video about this. I know i have gotten a little off topic but i just wanted to remind of the condition here. Thanking in advance
yes centre is the main reason for the present day situation of our Kashmir Just Today they suspended train service between budgam and baramulla Stopping fruit trucks importing walnuts form USA instead of using kashmiri one's They want to make us economically unstable so that they can dominate us on every front.
I live in kashmir too and i totally agree with this.... Kashmir right now is so hardly hit especially in the education and infrastructural department..... Definately a lot of refinement is needed
I have a friend working in marketing group at ground level,he was very much worried about his job recently due to sales pressure from top.he told they have to sell products no matter what by hook or crook.he gets paid nearly 20k and extra of sales made.they r given one spot every day by their manager like shopping mall, stations, theatre etc..they sell byjus subscription to public by telling fake stories.he said the problem is with teachers who don't really have knowledge but are teaching just to earn money. The first thing they now doing is luring with small emi option and once emi is done they get atleast half of revenue..toxic culture he said it is.he is now leaving that shit scam things and going into some small irrigation dept govt job.he said company is ruining students learning capabilities.this is being done in a major city like Hyderabad.😒
I am seeing Byju's loss literally every month . I am in Aakash Byju's. Last year the quality of pages and book cover was awesome. Now when 'Aakash' is 'Aakash Byju's', the pages are so thin that I can literally read the backside of the page. They use so cheap quality paper now...🤭🤭😅
What I like most about your videos (apart from simple explanation) is that you provide sources/references in the description always. Although I don't check them out always but that provides credibility to your videos.
I remember when I cleared my 19th grade, soon 2-3 days later I got so many calls from Byjyus and even messages from them. But glad my mom didn't reacted on them much and even if we picked up their call. She would say she is self studying which made them disappointed but as my mother's toning was rough they didn't argue much.
As someone working in education sector for long and as a founder of an education company, this video is a hope for me. Better days will come for education industry once the noise disappears. There are many many great educators, good companies and foundations providing value (not valuation) to students, teachers and schools. Our community of education professionals is driven by passion and love for education. Though most of us don't have numbers, vc funds or media attention, what we have is understanding of children, psychology and curriculum. Nothing wrong in having an education business but important is to have good products, services and people.
4 years ago, I purchased byjus plan of class 8 9 10 for rs.55000/- approx. Soon I realised it was a big scam, they just gave us tablet and recorded videos in it and nothing else. NOW I AM VERY SATISFIED AND FEELING VERY HAPPY TO SEE THE FALL OF BYJUS also want to see it bankruqtt in future 🙂
I am a musician by hobby. I thought of teaching in Byjus as part time job. The job description stated part time. However, I was told that I have to teach 150 hrs/month to be paid. I understood that it is scam. Part time job means 1 or 2 hrs/day, not 5 hrs/day.
Me being a Mallu guy, I am surprised how this company did survive long. The toxic nature of the company and the LACK of care from the CEO himself. I am honestly glad he is going under. I only feel sad for the employees in the lower segments and freshers.
Thank you for taking my suggestion from the previous video. I guess ost of them suggested the same and as a prev BDA I'm happy to see these kind of scams coming in front of public. Hats off your team and you.
I still remember - in 10th std, when i didn't had any coaching, one of my friend had took their courses worth 60thousand or 70..... I was realllllyyy shocked !! I mean literally !!! And here are the results Me - 89.6 percent He - 73 percent 🤨🤨
