Why Is Everyone Quitting Blind Skateboards 

I remember when I quit Blind. Good times 😂

There should also be a video about Mike Piwowar doing Switch FS Flip down Hollywood High 16, and still not even being turned officially Am, as that trick being the ender in a Blind “Am” video.

THE BOTTOM LINE from the LLC: They screwed around with what was working, reduced the number of the smaller companies under one parent company, which reduced the variety of products being produced, alienated and lost most of their team riders, oh, and they fired Bill Weiss and took control of Madness Skateboards - but don’t worry, this makes everything better, promise (sarcastic)! 😳👍(All true)

Not to mention how TJ Rogers would do so much charity work for canada with his sponsors. He also had cancer when he still put out 4 parts. Its really sad seeing BLind go down like this.

It's almost like no one learned from when blind used to be a bunch of people that quit Vision. I wonder if all the people quitting blind will set up a new company called "Astigmatism".

Blind died when baggy pants feel out. They had zero direction in the early 2000's when everyone else took off.

So, Bill Weiss and Louie Barletta and some other Dwindle guys started a new Distribution company. Opera skateboards and Jacuzzi Unlimited are the new companies. Opera is basically Madness, and Jacuzzi Unlimited is Enjoi 2.0

TJ deserves his own board company or some type of collab effort...15 years plus and he's still insane insane on the board. Credit is def due 👊

In the late 90s they sold great pants.

I blame the internet. There are only a handful of board companies left that have any kind of identity it feels like to me.

Yeah micky is nuts he can just casually nollie heel into anything on a handrail fckn wild. Like the level of commitment it takes to nollie heel into a front board on a handrail is insane.

Micky is THE most underrated skater in my opinion. I honestly don’t know why because it’s not like he has a bad style or whatever (like people use as argument with Jeff Dechesare). Micky has done some crazy tricks along the years I remember I once saw I clip of him doing treflip fs smith flip out on a bump to ledge just mind boggling

Keep these coming John, as an entrepreneur and long time skater, it’s great to delve into the business side

What truly sucks about this, is that I’ve been riding Dwindle decks, Almost and Blind, for the past ten years because I love the products and appreciated the company and people behind them. Screwing around with, and jeopardizing the future of this deck company (Blind), makes as much sense as John using old cheese as skate wax. It won’t work, and absolutely stinks‼️

New chapter in the skate industry, most of these dudes doesn't need a board sponsor to live!

I always loved where the Blind name came from, it was because it was the opposite of "Vision". Which was part fo World's assasination of the big corproate skateboards at the time. It's sad to see what it has become where that is how it started.
