I was very dissapointed by the lack of cities in GTA V. IMO the countryside felt useless because i doesnt really lead anywhere. You just drive a full circle back to the same city. In GTA SA you actually felt you were going somewhere. ANd the highways, trains and aiport were actually usefull.
Yeah and you wanted to keep playing the story because there were new cities to discover. It almost felt like 3 games sometimes. Las Venturas was so nice, you really thought you had accomplished something. xD

You forgot to mention the weapons that, in my opinion, are far more unique than the weapons in GTA V: Flamethrower, Electric saw, katana and etc. Also the gore where you can decapitate people with the sword, run them over with that farm vehicle, the feature to level up your skill with a specific weapon where you unlock dual wielding on the last level with the shotguns, uzi, pistols and etc. Also the bigger variety of mini games across the map: Driving school, gang wars, invading and raiding people's houses, hot coffee (if you include the non cut version), girlfriends, girlfriend interactions and rivalry (one of them can aggressively chase you if they caught you with another gf). Local multiplayer mode, dancing, bigger and better variety of clothes, kart and much more. GTA San Andreas simply had a huge amount of content and features. You could absolutely have lots of fun and things to do on the open world after finishing the missions. Something you don't feel like doing on the last ones. The most complete GTA ever and still the best to this day.
GTA SA was such an amazing game, good times when i had a house in some city and just stayed living there for a while, then i got tired of the city and travelled to another one with a completly different atmosphere, it was always fresh and exciting, and the restaurant stops in the middle of the road always added to the experience
with video leaks that we got in september, you can see that the protagonists are more fat in some videos, but buying houses again in GTA would be so cool

Something GTA SA perfected was the different atmospheres in every location. I always loved the orange tint in Los Santos. Not to mention, the detail of having the gun stores and alcohol shops surrounding the hood
Riding trough las Venturas on motorbike while all the neon lights are flashing from all sides and the casinos and the thousands of pedestrian's and wreck less drivers is a feeling not comparable tbh

One feature i really want them to bring back is being able to recruit up to 7 people and walk around causing mayhem. Wish they had taken advantage of that in red dead 2 or even gta 5.
I think the weight changes, different fight styles you could unlock, you could even get shredded. It made the game so much more fun. Rockstar take hints make our characters feel more alive
@@simplekid4328 no, muscles give you more melee power, and also affect dating. Plus it doesn't take long to max your build, about 5x 1min sessions, and it lasts for ages.
All the things you've pointed out are the exact same things I'm missing from San Andreas. GTA V had so much missed opportunities like restaurants/fast-food chains that can be entered and have a meal in, or just buildings you can enter in general. Also, even though GTA V's map is bigger, GTA SA's one feels a lot bigger due to the more intricate road maps and diverse type of places. I also miss GTA SA's jets actually dogfighting you when you're max stars and in a jet yourself. And so much more god-damn missed stuff for GTA V. I guess one of the very few ups of GTA V over GTA SA is that it's graphically superior.
Yeah and rockstar brought most of those mechanics from GTA san andreas into RDR2 but they just decided to abandon that masterpiece as if it was a failure. WTF is rockstar smoking cause it's just making them retarded as hell and destroying their best creations

Which is why I won't touch GTA 6 until 3 years after its release. Its embarassing that with the most powerful hardware and modern technology, these features are removed from the game. San andreas is STILL king in 2024. We will see if GTA6 will dethrone it, but I wont hold my breath. GTA4 AND GTA5 have failed to dethrone it. A 2004 game still on TOP 20 years later man. SAD. I WANT GTA6 to surpass GTA san andreas.
San Andreas had 4 years to shine until GTA 4 came out, having an active modding community since 2004. GTA 5 on the other hand, still only shinning for being the last game in the franchise for almost a decade until GTA 6 comes out. Realistically, San Andreas is the better GTA here, whether you have a different opinion or not.
And GTA 4 had less features than San Andreas, but with 4 it doesn't matter that much because the focus is on it's story, of all games, GTA 4 has the best story, and shined just 5 years until GTA V released with a story that's just ok and gameplay that's not as fun as GTA 4's or San Andreas, the gunplay and physics of GTA 4 still holds up great, only thing that aged is the graphics, even the AI is better than what V has
To make multiple silent kills at the same time in GTA SA: Use smoke grenade on a hoard of peds and when they start coughing.....just kill one of the and boom all the others affected by the smoke will also die with the same animation.👍🏻
You forgot to mention that side missions as firetruck/ambulance/police officer are also giving CJ upgrades and boosts, IIRC he's becoming immune to fire after completing firetruck, gets increased armor and health upgrades after completing police and ambulance respectively, also you can get nitro boost on any cab vehicle if you complete all taxi driver missions aswell.
Fun fact: gta sa can gang the holmes and enjoying the ride, take a pictures with holmes, war with holmes and more meanwhile in gta v can't gang holmes and can't enjoying what you love it but at least holmes help kill ballas against.
What I liked more about San Andreas than GTA 5 is that in SA you could go into more buildings and do different things. Almost all the buildings in 5 are closed off
Would it kill for companies to make two "separated" games where one goes up to 1440p resolution, whileas the other goes all the way to 4k? I mean, resolution is BY FAR one of the main reasons games occupies so much space... If they'd done this, then people who ACTUALLY play in 4k would get this version.
Fun fact: for gta sa you can make this glitch cuz it will kill the driver instantly. All you have to do is enter the driver car and press up or W and SPACE or jump it will kill the driver. This glitch also work in multiplayer gta sa games. If you don't trust do it.
We deserved a top notch remake. GTA SAN ANDREAS was ahead of it’s time. The level of details, atmosphere, physical development, dialogues… are insane. When heart & soul put into work art will be created. A masterpiece with iconic unforgettable characters. forever a classic.
I absolutely LOVED the little details they put into GTA SA. everything from the restaurants, to the stats, to the cars spinning out on dirt or sand (pretty advanced for 2004) etc.. will always be my fav game I still play it once a yeat
Although I must admit that I really like GTA V, and I still play it to this day, but GTA SA - that game is a pure legend. One of the best experiences (if not best of all) that I, as a gamer, ever had. In fact, I don't get why at least most of GTA SA's mechanics were not implemented into GTA V. The game would have been even more fun.
Most of SA's mechanics were not included in V due to storage limitations. Gore, dates for Franklin, North Yankton, gyms, restaurants, pool, bowling, basketball, horse racing, etc. They could very well do it but they had a strict deadline to release for the Xbox 360 and PS3, which at the time didn't include terabytes of storage like now. On the bright side, they added *some* content. Darts, tennis, golf, parachute missions, animal hunting, those weird Franklin weed porn and animal missions, Strangers and Freaks (which was already sorta in SA anyway), random events, car customization, random street races, boat races, triathlons, yoga, powers etc. Which, i gotta be honest, simply aren't as cool as SA's.

@Zahin Yes details matter, this is not 1986. GTA 5 single player experience is pure trash and has no where near the amount of replayability as GTA 4 does especially when it comes to features. I'm not talking about online. GTA 4's single player experience is more vast than GTA 5's despite GTA 5 having three characters. You can't even go inside the businesses you own in single player mode. Shit is stupid af. The only character's business you can go into is vanilla unicorn and you could already go in there before Trevor owns it. Alot of good stuff that are in older gta games to be put in gta 6. More weapons, more cars, sides missions, ability to climb or hang on the wall like CJ or Niko, etc.
One more thing that I miss is Dog Fights, it might be possible in GTAV online but the ones in GTA SA when on 6 stars is just really very fun. I was really very disappointed when I played GTA V for the first time and found this out.

In terms of Interior There's a LOT of unused interior in GTA Sa. Other Interiors, GTA Sa have a lot of amazing cut content which sadly never come to final version due to Ps2 limitations back then

Doing Fireman, Ambulance and Vigilante missions have benefits more than just money After the final mission CJ becomes Fire Proof, Max health is extended and Max Armor is extended The rewards are great which justifies the difficulty level
There is a reason why Im saying GTA san andreas is better than gta 5 1) Of course, you can travel to 3 different cities. If you feel like hanging out in Los Santos, you can go to Los santos. If you feel like hanging out in San Diego, you go to San Diego. If you feel like hanging g out in Vegas, you can go to vegas. 2) Its the FIRST rockstar game that had "FAST travel" 3) You can book PLANE FLIGHTS to all 3 cities. In rdr2 you can take the train. 3) You can have girlfriends 4) You can go to the gym and build muscle 5) You can go to the gym to burn calories 6) You can go to the boxing gym to learn boxing skills. 7) You can go to a kung fu class to learn kung fu skills 8) You have to actually take care of your character by what you feed him. Such as salad or junk food. (That level of detail) 9) Better cheat codes 10) You recruit people to help you fight off the cops. 11) You can gamble at Las Vegas casinos as well as GO IN DEBT and the mob would hunt you down. 12) You can even play basketball, Gta 5 has basketball courts but you cant shoot hoops. . GTA 5 has NONE of this stuff!! Yet rockstar spent over $200million on GTA 5 and only spent $10million on GTA San Andreas. If it wasn't for GTA online the GTA 5 story mode after you beat it would be boring. GTA 5 is a DOWNGRADE VERSION of gta San andreas. The ONLY difference is modern graphics

I'd say it's not about the developers behind the games but about the CEOs of the companies in most cases, except when it's a smaller development team that lacks a highly corporate figure. I feel like developers in big companies back in the day were allowed to have "more fun" despite having less tools and resources available at the time than they do nowadays.
The dualSense 5's dynamic feedback makes 100% of PS2 games feel obsolete. The look of PS2 era games won't get old until Rockstar returns to it and does it better on the PS5.
Rockstar doesn't care. They made way too much money from gta5 online so they'll never bring back all these small details that we love. They'll just keep enhancing graphics and giving out constant updates with new skins to keep you buying virtual money for online play for years to come.

That screen corruption on the Xbox 360 version if you played the game for too long and the random crashes ruined that awful mobile port of GTA San Andreas for me, and Grove Street Games didn't even bother to fix it, totally a waste of money
The reason for the crap remasters seems to have been that T2 told Rockstar to do it. Rockstar said lolno too busy and it's beneath us. T2 then said actually by the way you will do it, make it happen. So Rockstar outsourced it and for some reason Grove Street Games didn't get the original builds of the game, just the bad mobile ports. Then Rockstar actually did have to step in and help when the Definitive Edition turned out to be a steaming crap pile. That's the story I've heard. At what point the alleged GTA VI house image made it in and who put it there, no idea.

I agree with all of this. I can't really get into GTA V than I can with San Andreas and I see why now because of this video. San Andreas just have the type of nostalgia to the game style that just makes everything right with it. I honestly think San Andreas is a prefect game. I love it to death💕

The remastered San Andreas is great they just should have called it the optimized for mobile version because it is amazing on my phone looks like the original just much clearer sharper graphics.
GTA V is just visual. SA is actually more playable. So much to do besides being amazed by graphics that is not even the main focus of the game but an accessory.
Fun fact: gta sa you can learn the driving school, learn to fly, learn to drive boat and learn to drive motorbike but after you complete most first mission in san fierro meanwhile in gta v you can learn drive vehicle only learn to fly but learn to different vehicles can't learn well.
@@8900Kane yeah....... only most first starter player always failure but to be honest if don't past driving school you can't play Cesar mission and can't unlock Wang Cars and new mod garage as well and also you can't races the npc. Also you can't complete 100% completion if you don't past the driving school. But easily that done just use cheat code and later you will done driving school and no need different trick to past the driving school.... Lol.
The nostalgia of this game is unbeatable it was our childhood but what makes it the best GTA was the effort and details added to this game, you can tell rockstar was creating this with passion and effort there is so much more you can do in GTA sa
I would love to see the civilian service come back into the franchise . Fire truck and paramedic missions or they become part of the game as a way make money for the character. Part of the reason I played gta 3,vc & sa I would spend hours doing those missions and listening to the opera station for entire day. Quite fun
Early aged games were not having that realistic graphics but they were having a very detailed animations, different moves, interesing story lines. And most importantly they can be played in low end PCs.
Fun fact: gta sa when you maximum lung capacity you can hold long breath in over 1 minute meanwhile in gta V when you maximum lung capacity you can hold breath in 39 seconds. Don't trust me? Then try do it.
I remember swimming the entire game to fill up my Lung capacity in GTA San Andreas, and even swimming once from Las Venturas to San Fierro until I was full.
During the golden times(when most of us and these games were born), they focused more on features, maps and accessabilities, but in this time they are just focusing just on the graphics more than other things, which makes it 100+ GBs in size, whereas san andreas is just aroung 5GB, which is another big reason why SA is better than V, here in india u can ask any 2000s kid about this game and he will praise SA and VC, because it was more easily accessible and playable, times just changing man.
Fun fact: gta sa can dance in club and there also from mission which from og log and most very first mission and then that mission have to do is dance with dj in beach and stole music van. Most best part is you can dance with DJ in beach DJ party but only that mission. Meanwhile in gta V never decide to dance with girl or any else.
People must realise that realistic graphics doesn't make a game perfect. Gta sa is the perfect example for this, it's graphics may not be too good compared to gta V but I'll never have as much fun while playing gta V than gta sa

I wish a gta came out where the details came from gta SA (as shown in video), and the physics including ragdoll, cops arresting civilians attacking you, people doing unique activities such as constructions etc from Gta 4, and graphics of next gen all in one with a great story.
GTA San Andreas was the best GTA game i ever played. It would be cool if they bring all this side missions, the eating and training stuff and more like that back in GTA 6 again.
All this, I think, is because if you put everything what's in GTA:SA to GTA V, you'll be installing a game with at least 4 games space requirement. What I like about GTA:SA is that you can explore more places compared to GTA V.

@@AchuuXsists i don't think you actually know what you're talking about here, GTA5 was originally for the 360 and PS3 generation. GTA5 at launch was so big, you needed to install half of the game then use the CD to run it on the 360. memory was a major limitation on that generation, considering they have practically no RAM. sure, it's possible now on the newer generations, but they wont add a massive amount of features to an already complete single player campaign
I thinks GTA 6 is gonna bring some of the passion they use to have back. Take two was talking about creating the ultimate single player experience after fans were worried they were gonna devote must of their focus to online. Take two stated they still believe in the power of single player. Leaks have already confirmed restaurants are back as far as for the first time over 70 percent of buildings will be accessible. I think alot of san andreas style elements have a strong possibility in returning for gta 6

Great video but I wish you changed CJ's cloths. In GTA SA there are six cloth stores, Victim and Didier Sachs has all the cool expensive suits and tuxedos. You changed Franklin's cloth, but why dont you guys change CJ's cloths and make him look cooler. Also SA has more clothing than GTA 4, the best clothing mechanism in the series. Also the special outfits like dating Barbara who is a cop you get the cop outfit (and never lose weapons when arrested again). Anyway please change CJ's clothing!.
