A Gaza ceasefire would be possible tomorrow if Hamas freed Israeli hostages, US president Joe Biden has said.
Speaking at a fundraiser near Seattle on Saturday, Mr Biden said: "There would be a ceasefire tomorrow if Hamas would release the hostages.
"Israel said it’s up to Hamas, if they wanted to do it, we could end it tomorrow. And the ceasefire would begin tomorrow."
His remarks came after the IDF said it is expanding its operation and moving into an area in northern Gaza where Hamas has regrouped.
Amidst all of this, Lewis Goodall was joined by Palestine's ambassador to the UK, Husam Zomlot, to discuss the ongoings.

Indeed. The hypocrisy and bias in favour of Israel by LBC is absolutely naueating. The direct influence that Israel has over institutions in the United Kingdom of Israel is appalling. It's been this way for so many years now. I wish we could have a government that cuts ties with the apartheid state of Israel. Of course the establishment and it's client media has made certain that no-one critical of Israel can ever get into number 10.

I'm no defender of Hamas by a long way but I see a people trying to fight for their rights and I see a state trying to get rid of them in one way or another. I don't care that they are Muslim, or anything else for that matter. They are human beings and need to be treated as such. I have seen it first hand when I unfortunately went for a holiday with a woman. I had the worst experience and it broke me. How they treat people who is not of the country or belief is criminal. How they talk about the Palestinians people made me physically sick. The check points was something else and the language they described was unspeakable
