WHY IS IT ALWAYS SPIDERS | West of Loathing: Reckoning at Gun Manor DLC Pacifist Walkthrough #1

They don't roam, even if they *do* bite they're not dangerous to humans at all, *AND* they kill pests and more dangerous spiders! 0:50 - You... *do* know that there are different locations to visit there besides the Custard Stand and Frisco right? There's even another quest, area, and NPC that was added to that area with the DLC. Not to mention all the regular stuff like getting the El Vibrato Crown, opening the time portals, making a Diamond Ring, or the West Pole secret! (Although that last one was so obscure that I had to look up the solution to figure out what the hell I was supposed to do). 22:07 - Aside from becoming godly with El Vibrato batteries (which I believe was how I beat this thing without the Bismuth Bomb), it's actually super easy to cheese the DLC: If you just start a new game, go to the DLC, and then immediately go back to Dirtwater and play/level grind for a while and come back the enemies will be super low level because it only scales based on how strong you were when you arrived _initially._ The catch is that all the weapons, clothing, and items will suck because they *also* scale using the same criteria. 37:32 - While the game likes to have funny nonsense, there are actually some surprising real-world elements in this game. At the time when the game was set, 76 elements were known, it was one year after Argon was discovered and one year *before* the discovery of Europium, it was after Mendeleev's Periodic Table of Elements had been accepted by the scientific community, and he *did* use it to predict elements that hadn't been discovered yet. The story and even the name "Gun Manor" are also a giant reference to the story of Sarah Winchester and the Winchester Mystery House.
