We first came to Kalkan 25 years ago and spent many happy holidays here since then , lovely atmosphere which does not change . Turkey is a great country , so diverse , great food and such friendly people.
Mick, you are doing a great job by showing Turkey's most beautiful parts to the World. We really appreciate your time and efforts. All the videos you've made are so beautiful and helpful for the tourists who want to visit Turkey.

I never get tired of looking at Trudie she is so pretty. What a beautiful little city I love when all the shops are open like that you can go from one to another and the food looked delicious.

Many happy memories of Kalkan. I bag packed there back in the early 90,s. and visited again several times. It still looks so beautiful and the people are truly amazing . Love you two , thank you for a trip down memory lane .

Thanks Mick, that brought back memories of just jumping on a dolmus many years ago to Kalyan, and just finding a small but very quaint pansyon on the very top of Kalyan. It was such a pretty place, and I remember all the lovely rooftop restaurants where you could look out over the sea while having your meal. All very romantic. It doesn’t look as if it has changed that much. Well worth a visit.
I just wish we could come visit. Someday, hopefully sooner rather than later. Stay Safe and keep the Videos coming. It is what keeps us going till we can actually get back to Turkey. Patricia X 🏴🏴🏴
Go to aubergine right on the sea front. In winter it's closed in but has trees and othe decor inside in good weather its open all the sides come off. The food is great as well. Caroline the owner is so cool hope you see her again this year
I’m a Turkish person living in the U.S. I recently started following your channel after stumbling upon one of your videos and am hooked now. Your videos are excellent and some of them really take me back. I remember going to Kalkan as a kid, seems much bigger now, and more developed. Your food videos have me drooling and I love your cost of living videos, too, since I haven’t been back in eight years and sometimes I lose touch. Keep up the great work! Cheers from Washington DC.

Very nice video about Kalkan. I have been in Kaputaş and Kaş every year but always passing by Kalkan. Thanks to your great video, I gonna spend 1 night there ! I always come to work in London but counting my months to run to Turkey on summertime 🙏🙏. Can’t wait to move back to my adorable Turkey

OMG i had no idea Kalkan was this beautiful , there are so much to see in Turkey, and so fantastic, all my American friends watching yours and Trade the Globe couple they booked their trip, some for 2 weeks some for 3 mouths ,unfortunately i suffered a heart failure, cant's travel for a while, I am just watching it all from far far away in San Diego California, I hope to get stronger and visit next year, Turkey rocks :) I wish videos were longer, could you make it longer?
Hello from Turkey! I have been in California (Carmel and Monterey and San Faransisco) I liked Carmel very much. California has good climate and nice towns too. What I didn't like about there almost no chance to swim in a bikini plus ocean is sooo wavy. Here in Turkey we are so lucky to have calm and warm waters. Welcome to Turkey, enjoy your holiday!!!
