I have 2 cats. One female one male. When my male cat was at the vet hospital for couple of days and came home after that. Of course he smelt different. So my female cat was stressed and hid herself in the litter box or wanted to sleep on my lap to feel secure. It only lasted for couple of days. We're already back to normal now
Literally what is happening to my cat right now! He had to get his teeth cleaned and was at the vet a few days. He’s currently just laying in the litter box
I've had my cat for about 2 years now and she laid down in her litter 4 days ago and then I saw her do it again this afternoon. Several days ago I moved her litter box from the bathroom to the patio, because she kept waking me up in the middle of the night
Thank you for the video. I've recently moved. To make matters worse, I work multiple jobs so the time to get things in order at home is limited. We've been here a short time and things are constantly being moved around.. not subtle at all.. I have 3 cats. Two of which are acting stressed. One, the oldest, has moved into the bathroom and sleeps in the sink. My munchkin who can't climb or jump as well has moved into the kitchen. Both refuse to exit the rooms they're in. I moved litter boxes near them so they could go to the bathroom with less stress, but now my munchkin is sleeping in his box.. I guess it's stress. Hopefully I'll get moved in soon and they'll feel better.. I'm worried about them 😔
None of the above, a kitten of mine sleeps in her litter box since she ever knows one. She have a cat bed, boxes, and other places to sleep, while she does sleep in other places, her favorite is still the litter box, and it makes her stinks no matter how often I clean her up and her litter box also using coffee scented bentonite to lessen her stinks. I just give up, now she rarely get cuddled unless after a bath, I rather cuddle my other kitten even though she was my favourite kitten(she looks adorable, still is, but stinky). I bathe them once a month or sometimes every 3 weeks, unless they really dirty, both hates water so I can't bathe them too often.
I have recently moved into apartment and my cat has started attacking me on my legs and I have tried everything to stop her I don’t know if she’s mad because I had to move from a couple acres where she could go outside on her own to a one bedroom apartment and now I have to take her out I don’t know what to do about her biting on me.
Felines are instinctual and territorial, the reason she’s going after your legs is fear, (she’s experiencing that fear you and I would feel if we were taken to a strange Country) give her time to get used to the new apartment, her new place is totally alien to her, I read it typically takes up to 3 months for cats to become comfortable and familiar in their new home, be patient, I know your kitty loves you, give her a chance and the time to get used to her new environment, in the end she’ll be forever grateful to you and will love you as she always have.
