Everyone's needs are different depending on the situation. You took care of yours. That's a good thing.

If you're not sure of your "title", you can think of it as "prepper adjacent". I like how the bag is inexpensive but robust. It's not for UL hiking, it's for survival needing a little more umpf. You're so right with the multiple ways of starting a fire. On any given day, there could be different weather conditions that need more than a fire steel. Along with any BOB or Get Home Bag, I would definitely recommend a separate car bag with it's own separate items and weight. It's always there in the car and you can use the car bag to add or remove from the BOB or GHB like the pocket saw. That's a great weight or an emergency 3 day trex to safety whether to get home or get to civilization or hospital, etc. great job. Floridahanger

Prepper Adjacent!!! Lol That's perfect! I do have a car kit, but it's mostly mechanical and recovery! I always have my axe, Boreal 21 saw, and Spetznaz shovel too!

Good kit and setup. I also appreciated how you presented your things and ideas. I like your channel and I'll be watching more. I think my max distance is 21 miles all through urban areas. Everything I carry for normal urban survival is on me somewhere. The things I do carry different are my 3L water bladder in a carrier and my little survival kit with some extra stuff in it and a fixed blade knife. Take Care and Stay Safe.

Great vid! Esbit also has a smell, & will soot your pot pretty good- you may need a larger zip lock for your pot. A alcohol stove may help with smell and soot-. Quartered up blue shop towels with a little water will help with wiping off and poopin.

Thanks Ben, I'll use that soot at camo paint! Lol Not a bad idea though! The shop rags is something to think about as well! Good stuff man! Thanks

Your get home bag I believe should also be set up as an inch bag because your home might not be there anymore by the time you arrive so you should be ready for everything with only one bag. - go heavy - go big - get fit #1 - embrace the suck - caches are a very good idea - clothing could be your shelter to save on weight. - go very heavy on food, an army travels on its stomach. - go heavy on first aid and foot care and burn products. What I'm saying is you should only have one bag and train with that one bag alone.

You can have it as heavy as you want. If you can handle it, no problem. Me, personally, I'd try to keep mine under 20 pounds.

Hey buddy that was some good Stuff man . The one think I never Thought about was the Toe nail clippers . I went kayak camping 🏕 one time & i had a problem with one of my big toenails cutting into my skin & it was hurting me so bad man . I don't know Why i was having problems with my big toenails for . I don't keep my toenails long at all or short at all cuz i don't like how it feels when my toenails is cut at my toenails base . I like a very very lil bit of Clear toenail showing & with my sunburn right now i can't even cut them right now because it hurts to touch them because of the sunburn . You take it easy buddy & good video buddy . Be safe out there brother .
