I am surprised that you didn't take off your shoes & socks & got barefooted 👣 soon as you got there. I know that you would have enjoyed it a lot better cuz of i am right you love being barefooted 👣 just like me right ? I just love being barefooted 👣 cuz it's so Relaxing to me for one & two a lot easier for me because of how extremely wide my feet 🦶 are. But also I am surprised that you didn't wearing your flip flops 🩴 too. But it looked like a very nice spot to chilled at. Hey Mack, I wore my shoes to start with because I was unfamiliar with the first trail, and the second trail tends to have some sand spurs! With the weather changing so fast I wasn't sure if I may need to make a quick get away! Lol Thanks for watching!

@@ReWyldOutdoors I bowhunt in September in the 90s. Mornings aren't brutal but for the evening hunt I dip my Shannon's Bug Tamer in a bucket of water or creek. Makes all the difference in the world .

One of my absolute favorites is Hatchet by Gary Paulson! Along that same vein is a book called Echo by Ron Rohrbaugh Jr. Both are Wilderness Survival type books. As far as Prepper/dystopian end ot the world kinda stuff, I'm a big fan of the Going Home Series by A. AMERICAN and the After series by William R. Porsche. I recently read a book called Hunted by Darcy Coats it's sort of a Wilderness Survival Mystery Horror! Lol Pretty good one too! Thanks so much for watching!

LOL, I'm over here in Mobile and I can relate with it being so dang hot. I've been wanting to hang in the hammock so bad its killing me. So, I disappeared the other day and the wife found me in my gear shed (insulated, sheetrocked, and air conditioned) where I had set up one of my hammocks and was napping peacefully. 😂
@@ReWyldOutdoors right? I was also just looking at wallpaper that makes a mural of the woods on Ama zon. I found a 16' one of trees and a creek. It's got me seriously debating some interior decorating. LOL. I'll be so glad when Fall rolls back around.

3:08 Hey I noticed you have the exact same life jacket as my new one that I haven't worn yet. I'm still using my 2004 well broken in Stolquist jacket. What do you think about those two big molded pockets on the front? Do they bother you at all? I was thinking of cutting them off ...
No man, they don't bother me at all! They are actually deep enough to hold my cellphone! If I'm fishing, I keep some of my more used tackle in the pockets along with a pair of pliers! That's the most comfortable pfd I've ever owned!!!
