Here’s a tip. Fertilize the roots. As roots they have the ability to take in liquid leaves can too but only on the underside where the stomata cells are and not nearly as much as roots. I recommend a slow release orchid fertilizer

Has to be specific orchid fertilizer it's less stronger than the soil ones. It gets sprayed on the leaves n gets absorbed that way

The fertilizer pictured in this video is Miracle-Gro liquid Orchid fertilizer. This specific fertilizer tends to be good for beginners due to its extremely low nutrient content. Making it difficult to accidently over fertilize and burn your plant! Personally, I've been keeping my phal orchid in nothing but bark. Watering it every week or so when the bark is dry. It's in a pot without drainage, so I flood the entire pot for roughly 10-40 minutes. Allowing the bark to soak up moisture before holding the Orchid and bark in place and dumping out all access water. After that, I spray between the barks cracks at where the roots are along with the under sides of the orchid's leaves. Making sure no liquid pools in the crown when everything is done. So far the Orchid seems to like this, seeing as it's given me a Christmas bloom this year! Just make sure to give the plant a break from fertilizer every 2-4 weeks or so. Flushing the plant out with just water for a watering or two to prevent anything from building up too much!
