Why Is NHL 25 HUT Content So Disappointing This Year? 

There are a lot of positives and potential in the game so its not all bad but all I want is to have it a little bit more rewarding and fair across all player bases not only hard core grinders and people who spend money. Thanks for the feedback on editing and video quality, I am working a lot to improve that with every video this year so its not just a video for a video sake but actually deliveres good quality for viewers and listeners.

I just gave up and went to a soccer game today, needed a day away but now I am 300k XP behind already on that XP path for rewards I still don’t know what to do with 😂 Thanks for watching the video 🩵

I feel exactly the same, I wanted the changes as it felt like we have the same HUT for years but not with this cost

@@DinoKrista 100%. If they added back Weekly rewards to rivals and squad battles then I believe this game would be mixed In my opinion. A lot of the issues would fix themselves in terms of content, Weekly rewards would level out the market, Allow players to grind for the stuff we love to grind for. Absolutely in no world should we be playing 500k for 1! 86 overall team builder. It’s pretty close to that price range I believe, It may be 2 but still that’s insane.

So you think HUT is in good state this year? How many hours you play and are you happy with your team?

I did covered that in my strategies and setting video a little bit. I think goalies will always be high, d-man is the shooting stats at this point for offensive players it would be shooting and skating, the faster the player the more you will get out of it, size of the player really don’t matter as gameplay is slower and hitting isn’t op this year as well

If your defence is solid I would go with Jack because of his shot and speed, if your defence is mid and slow, Quinn.

I don’t get why PUI don’t upgrade each month, if EA don’t upgrade them Gretzky can be at 90 all year for example

I think my issue is not the actual content, there always will be cards behind the money wall but lack and quality of rewards. Last year I knew that if I get to ultimate in rivals I will get two mega packs so that’s certain amount of 80+ players so I need let’s say “X” amount of weeks to get one TB it power up icon. This year you play and don’t really have the clarity of what you get as far as it’s not that level 60 reward. It’s hard to plan your time in the game when you can’t play 8 hours a day so you miss out on a lot if you can’t keep up and with that I mean the moments in Rivals,etc. if EA release the cards you can only get in packs, and it’s fine, there should be something we can still get but it feels like to have a good team this year you will be more and more forced to spend money. Sorry for a long rant, just needed it 😂😂

I’m torn between which side to b on . I have almost 350k in hut coins. That’s been my plan all along . Just to save up coins

@@DinoKrista yesss exactly what I’m getting at! They gotta make all the rewards + packs and mostly tradable… getting a 1 random 79+ is 10x better than 1 random 79… sure 80% of the player base won’t get anyone above 81 but it still has that excitement we’re missing from ftp opening packs

I think McDavid will be able to obtain but much harder and I am good with it. I am just not sure why the “fodder” we get isn’t really a “fodder” this year..

Happy you’re having fun… But this fucking game is an absolute mess… I do like some of the changes, But taking out weekly rewards has single handedly ruined HUT and 90% of the player base feels that way, If they added weekly rewards the market would level out. This is probably the biggest issue cards are way too expensive to make anything. For free to play players this game is almost dead. Players that do not spend money will feel that big time in a month from now. Which will lead majority of the players to stop playing, Which will cause the game to be dead by January.

I don’t think changes we see in HUT are 100% negative, what I don’t like is how it’s being delivered in rewards and amount of things we need to do to get something but yes, it’s subjective. If you enjoy I am glad, it’s nice that you play it and like it.

I am okay with no weekly rewards but than rewards us equally with the new system

I don’t want to disappoint you but the game isn’t coming on PC for a good while because to add another platform game needs to be very successful but with the pace we are going it isn’t happening. The game itself is good and one of the most fun I had early in the game ( just playing it ) but god, I just hope I could get some good rewards by playing it not saving for two weeks to after trade in half of my team for one upgrade.

It’s going so backwards that I don’t understand how to play it to be anywhere near the teams I am facing without spending any money

Design council is a group of people who directly provide feedback to developers across NHL team, what they do with the feedback is up to them as not everything we want can be implemented or changed because in the end the day it’s a business model we can’t change. Most of the time they listen to the feedback and make changes at the capacity they can, depending on the department the feedback is provided, like gameplay feedback is easier to provide and also get some changes than content as it always have a bigger picture we not always see. I seen multiple times where things changed after we shared something and even now we was told that they are listening and we will see some improvements but who knows if community will like them. There are way too many players or HUT creators who are way too positive, and I am not saying you should be negative all the time, but when they see this “happiness” I sometimes doubt if they believe it’s as bad as some of us say it is. So short answer-they listen and we will see some changes but no one knows how they will look.

I was not talking about moments in rookie but superstar and mostly people who are D2+ forgets that 75% player base are very casual and not good at the game so it does take longer. All my content is based on casual player base as it’s way harder to keep up with things like prior things. Just feel a little out of touch from EA

Feels like we were sold something different than what we got. I hope I am wrong and all this is the plan of something bigger we don’t see yet and going forward content will make more sense but today I am sad 😂
