Considering a wide lens? The 12-24GM might be the best in the market, we show you some examples of 12M in video format which has not made it's way to RU-vid yet.
If you are content creator and shoot vertical content, take a look at some of this footage! As this lens comes with a hefty price tag, we show you what some of the different shots you are able to get.
We give you comparisons of different focal lengths using the 12-24GM and 24-70GM throughout the video. All of the content is shot in 60fps with minimal to no color added in order to show the best comparison.
Let us know what you think about the 12M and content that you would want to see next!

The answer is simple most people will not benefit much from a 12mm considering how expensive and niche the lens is. Most people would rather for the 16-35 gmii. Which has far more zoom range and you basically get a standard focal, length in 35 and a ultra wide in 16mm. 12mm is really niche or for super specific and stylized work

And you have the option of filters. I have the 16-35 gm mark 1 (bad condition.. I dropped it). Either upgrade to the GMii or get an ultra ultra wide.. idk

@@slurp3194 it’s on 16 most of the time but I zoom in a lot. I’m thinking 12-24 would give me more room, especially since you can just zoom in, in post. But the no filters thing.. that’s the deal breaker for me.

@@slurp3194 mostly vlog footage, similar to my recent videos. The light weight is also a big factor.

It does come with a big price tag, similar to most Gmaster lenses. But I've found having a 12mm with a zoom for my style of shooting has been super helpful rather than switching lenses often.

I think people don't talk about it because you can't use a screw on filter. I'm pretty sure you can use gel filters, but I'm not sure how that works. -btw great video! showing distances really helped me! thanks :)

@@Gberg23 Gear performance, with the same style edit would be really useful. Just a minimal indicator of the focal length at the bottome left corner, walking out into every day places. All other gear reviews are in overly controlled environments with expensive gear and/or absurd amounts of post production.

Bro the reason nobody uses it is the ridiculous price hahaha

Awesome mini vid. Do a review for the Tamron 28-70 G2. I'm thinking about buying that one while I send out my Sigma 24-70 to get serviced.

Thank you!! We can definitely work on something similar, personally I use the 24-70mm GM, Cam uses the tamron! Maybe we use do a comparison of those two if you are interested

I think most people don't talk about it because you can't use ND filter in the front of the lens. Because it's kinda fish eye and if you want to use ND filter you have to put them on the back of the lens which is a little bit of a hustle
@Gberg23
@Gberg23 4 месяца назад
It is somewhat a fisheye but it doesn't have high levels of warp on the edges of the frames and does not have any black borders that a traditional fisheye would have! We are curious to test some ND filters with this out, let us know if you have any recommendations

@@Gberg23 would you try to put some ND filters on it? I would go with some Freewell, k&f concept or nisi for ND filters. I mean Polar pro is great but just not on a budget
