Only being outscored by 30 runs at the midseason point is quite impressive. The Pythagorean winning percentage is .441, slightly ahead of the actual .430 pace.
Decided to take this on as well after seeing your first video. Made my 3 preseason trades and then allowed 1 trade per month in May and June. It's July 1st and the team is somehow 45-40 , with a -33 run difference. MJ Melendez (1 of the preseason trade additions) started off the season with his hair on fire hitting 12 homeruns in 30 games with 1.7 WAR...that is now 19 homeruns and 1.0 WAR in 80 games. Batting leader is Zack Gelof with 2.4 WAR, offense is rough at 13th in the league. Starting pitching is also rough with 4.89 ERA, however bullpen ERA is second in the league at 3.49. Best starter so far is Alex Wood and reliever unsurprising is Mason Miller...what a beast. Likely a good reason the team is 20-9 in 1 run games.
Doubt you could use the Dev Lab until the end of the 2024 season, since you can't send anyone to the lab unless they finish before opening day (March 20th).
If it makes you feel any better Bailey, you can't actually use the Development Lab during the first preseason- not enough time to actually do anything.
Man it would be amazing if we could get a management franchise type of game like OOTP combined with the on field graphics and presentation of MLB The Show.
ik you've probably already played through this entire year but imo you should be shopping gelof. hard to keep him around with those personality traits.
