Best leaving the electrodes in so you can check position to burner whilst it’s out. No graphite seal to replace either unlike when you take electrodes out.
Congratulations Mate, We all say two is enough and end up with 4, Shorter videos is much easier to watch and day of the week, Sundays seems to be very busy with long content, Great verity Mate, On the Stuart Turner pump if there is an isolation valve on the out let turn it half off that will solve the on off problem 👍👍🤜
Nice detailed work. I'm curious why the vitodens is being swapped seeing as you've just stripped and cleaned it proper and far as I'm aware it's still a pretty efficient model wasn't the only issue remaining a filling loop? Seems mad to have a boiler exchange over a filling loop unless I'm missing something
Good video as always . You say enough and pass on info without cutting corners First things first Congrats on the bairn, twos plenty bill If you don’t mind me saying I was always under the impression the rotary brush you use inside the HE is too strong and removes a protective coating but I can’t show you this in black and white anywhere I like the shorter videos . Some guys on RU-vid give out good thorough info like tomkat training but they can make a chat last a good while for sure Keep up the good work
@ryanarbuckle789 when I cap the outlet valve on a commercial meter and walk off after a failed test. The customer says they had the their boiler serviced a month ago. When I respond did the the engineer do a tightness test? All I hear is silence... so yes drop tests should be carried out on Services .
Hope you charged landlord for your time re the shower pump visit. Landlord could have resolved that 'noisy boiler' report with a visit to their tenant rather than call you in.
A little trick I do with regular customers where I havn't had to do any work is charge them just enough to cover fuel and time, instead of a full hour's charge. This keeps everyone happy. If you do a job for free, they don't appreciate it and quickly forget, but if you charge them £31 they think that's really cheap, and you have covered your fuel and lunch money.
