There's a mistake in the intro though. At 0:44 a new plate moves into the picture. Likely a leftover from an older cut. But I do appreciate the effort, as better production values make the videos easier to share with people unfamiliar with the concept. The documentary will help as well.

More common in gen z and next generations than the older onces, cause of all the social media hours and the beauty culture surrendered by it. We consume, we reaffirming. During western history and consumism they targeting more women, look at the whole beauty industry (plastic surgery, make up, fillers, tan, nails, hair, hair removal, body, etc, etc). Most of us are give attention, money and time more on average, all cause this culture and reinforcement. Although I thing it’s also men are starting to get targeted more and more. I've been loving the high quality videos lately. Not sure if you'll see this, but I think a good future video idea would be to talk about reversing facial damage that's already been done as many of us probably already got wronged by the orthodontic industry before discovering you and your teachings. Learning more on what to do if teeth have already been extracted and other damages would be awesome. As someone who has already had teeth extracted, I would like to know more on how to naturally retain facial beauty and health after the bone loss. I'm already mewing and doing good posture, but if there is more that can be done.

Yes, I’ve lost teeth but wear partials. But some of my teeth have moved inwards and my tongue cannot be suctioned to the palate. I have to mouth breathe due to chronic sinus infections. Dr Mew seems to address younger people.

Dr Mew, why dont you have any videos on helping adults? I am a 29 year old and i have a class 2 division 2 malocclusion. My surgeon said i would need braces and then lower jaw surgery. My dentist says there may be a 50/50 chance that an appliance can fix it so imagine wasting 8k canadian and 3 something years later finding out it never did anything. Are there any proven things out there that can help without lower jaw surgery? or should i just save up and go straight for the surgery

And keep in mind that surgery don’t give the extra protruding that you see with certain people. Most of the case is result of facial implants.

DOCTOR please respond to this comment if you see it. I got cross byte on one of my front teeth. It is more inwards than than the others and I use orthodontics appliances since June 2023 and I still can't see any differences in my teeth alignments. I'm 33. Have been inconsistently mewing for a year (just using information from the RU-vid channel, not the app). It's taken me about this long to really get a consistent tongue posture and lip seal, and to even keep my tongue up in my sleep most of the time. The first change I saw was I could breathe better through my nose (I had one nostril I couldn't breathe well out of). Just recently I am starting to see a really subtle change in my face. Something has shifted in the way my teeth bite, my upper palate is now a little wider than my lower. Strangely, the dimples on my cheeks have become more prominent. I have been asked if I've lost weight (I haven't) and I think this is because my face is starting to look stronger or sharper somehow, though it's hard to put your finger on it. Your face is going to change as you age one way or another. I think you have nothing to lose by trying to have better oral posture and encourage your face to change in a positive direction.
