As someone who does 3D character modelling as a hobby, there are moments where I feel convinced that a drastic change in a character's face will improve it. Then I come back later and go "Oh that's awful! Why did I do that?" This feels like the IRL version of that, with the primary difference being you can't just reload an earlier draft of your body.

There's a bit of tragic irony to the situation since Starlight in the actual show is vocal about being against conforming to all the celebrity beauty standards Vought pushes for its "image".
