You are correct. This is definitely one of the best looking vehicles period. The classic pre-facelift headlights and the AMG styling along with the 6.2 V8 make this👌.
@@HATTORI_PABLO Some people just want to enjoy the engine without the hassle of costly additional maintenance. I think thats why w204 c63 is sought after so much.
Everything described is spot on 👌from design to performance, a modern day classic, Mercedes perfection, thanks so much for sharing this, cheers 😎 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎸 🎼
I'm about to buy my 3rd CLK in 10 years (I had all of them in 200 Kompressor but well.... Gas prices lol) and it was the most enjoyable car I had between all of them. I can't only imagine what it is it with a 63 under the hood....
@@goga511 yeah they're both heavy cars, that's why I was surprised the clk63 black series is that heavy even tho it doesn't have rear seats and other stuff is lacking
Yes, they are not that far apart which is interesting. One thing to note is that the w211 e63 has an aluminum hood which saves a lot of weight. The Black Series CLK still has a steel hood which is very heavy. The front fenders are aluminum on the w211 so it also saves some weight there.
I would respectfully suggest, maintaining one of these will be significantly less than a comparable Ferrari, whilst offer a high level of performance. A 500hp M156 engine Mercedes is a serious weapon, particularly in a race biased chassis
Which parts do you think are expensive? In my opinion, the servicing of a car like this is relatively inexpensive compared to the car's value. It should only cost a little more than a 2008 CLK63 or E63 for things like tires. Most service related parts are shared with other mass produced AMGs and are affordable because of that. Although, if you damage any of the bodywork on the Black Series, I wouldn't be surprised if replacement panels were super expensive.
Mind sharing your source? Having owned several of both, CLK63 AMG Black Series maintenance is not in the same cost universe of anything Ferrari. Same as any other AMG.
Compared to the CLK DTM this is quite underrated, but i feel its more enjoyable to drive. Believe me i will definetly buy a few of them before the price goes up!
One in Australia for sale now and the asking price is $496,000 . Will he get it ? Who knows ? I really wish all the AMG V8's came with a proper dual exhaust system..
Have you figured out what the head rest reset button is for on the cabriolet? Mine doesn't do anything since the rear head rests aren't foldable, just a solid one piece seat w/ armrest.
I've been actively looking for a good CLK63, I ran across someone selling a Black Series for only 24k. Communication through email only, I have a hard time believing this is for real. Be careful out there!
While I could afford a BS coupe is there anyone in Canada who has a standard coupe they want to see to this desperate American who doesn’t want to spend $80k on a BS with 50k miles on it.
@@AMGmeister I was also told there used to be a rule allowing import of CLK BS from USA, but that no longer allows cars to come over. Wonder how many remain in Canada? OB Prestige has or had one that I was looking at prior to purchasing mine.
