What am I. What are we? Why are we here? What comes after? All of this doesn't matter if you try to enjoy every little thing this world has to offer. We will get our answers in due time, for now buckle up and enjoy the ride.
wow.. speechless.. absolutely mindblown by this video. Although very technical even tho you manage to do a very good job at explaining it easy, it is truly fascinating the world of quantum mechanics. Would love more follow-ups on quantum mechanics and similar theories. We truly appreciate the work being put in these videos, visualizing and explaining such phenomena's. I love how there is no "normal" conclusions and that you answer the hard questions in a very open and philosophical way. Keep up the amazing work!
I am good at research, courtesy my PhD. My channel was a hobby project but now I want to take it up seriously. I need help regarding animation and voiceover. Thanks man. Keep up the good work.
39:18 "The idea that subjective actions may affect the objective world" wild thought. Really makes you wonder about things like Self-fulfilling prophecies, Manifesting thoughts, etc.
I do believe that my existence is programming/I am an npc. If I were not an npc, I'd have memories other than the ones I currently possess. But in fact, I have a blank slate that only includes the information that I've encountered, after my birth. Not only this, but I don't have free will. I cannot make myself do the things that I want to do, nor can I not do, the things that I want to do. I have no choice, I am currently traversing a path, that I did not actively choose, out of the infinite other possibilities that exist - but rather, I chose, because I was only presented a very limited amount of paths. For example - I cannot force myself to be a basketball player, I cannot force myself to grow taller, I cannot force myself to be a mathematical prodigy. To me, the fact that I cannot choose something as simple, as being a genius in any field, according to my slightest whims, proves to me, that I am operating according to a program, that was not written by myself, nor is it editable, via my own volition. That's exactly what an npc is. An existence, that is bound by, and cannot break out of the boundaries that have been set in place for it. Perhaps I am ultimately mistaken. But at present, it is the most comprehensive viewpoint that I can observe/fathom.
Very well explained. By quantum mechanics explanation and standards, this theory can very well be true, Furthermore, we ourselves can create virtual realities, very similar in various forms, to the reality we live in, which further strengthens that theory!
Don’t feel bad 99.99% of people live their life just to secure shelter food and protection. And never reach an enlightened state or ever touch enlightenment only few few people reach or see glimpses of enlightenment so don’t feel bad just enjoy what you can.
you are the best, your videos are relevant and very entertaining, and your videos are unique better than those so called shitty creators, your videos are well researched and it also have personal theories that make it even more good and unique!
I am surprised that the multiverse was not mentioned in this video. You can use the multiverse as proof of a simulation. The multiverse is a representation of the reality computer calculating all possibilities. The video game computer knows all possibilities, but does not know what the user will do until the user makes a move. It can know which moves are most probable, but not know the next move of the user with certainty. Are you the only user character in this simulation? Everybody else could be NPC's.
... Good point. Adding: 1) The existence of quanta in this universe come from 3rd quantization. States in the multiverse come from the 4th quantization. 2) Based on what you said, no one can predict the future (unless can predict all choices of all players etc.).
Amazing video. I've been researching simulation theory for years and it was quantum physics that validated it for me. Quantum mechanics only make sense if we are thinking within computational terms. I also think that the computer which simulates this reality shouldn't be too sophisticated supercomputer completely out our reach concerning our current technology or at least it uses similar rendering techniques as we do. What is outside of this simulation is really just pure guessing. I'd love to wake up one day in an other world. Though more layers of the simulation is also possible. It is really a philosophical question just yet.
The connection & interchange between energy & matter explains I think the matrix. BUT it's a real world mayrix matrix ... ... . Furthermore, interpretations of QM may be redundant, when the formalism works/ is correct ...
I think a simulation would be best case scenario for us, at least in reference to the major religions. For one, no Hell. A civilization advanced enough to make a simulation would have to be highly ethical, in order to survive. Maybe, eventually, they give us the reigns.
I also have the same belief as you've described. With advancement in technology, future generation would simulate their own virtual world and definitely know the answer while their alive.
I agree that Quantum Physics makes it appear that we are in simulation, but I don't think the creators of the simulation had to make things so obvious with Quantum Physics. They could have created a world without Quantum Physics. Who created the simulators if they created us? If there is a prime reality, that reality could be in a simulation and we face a potential infinite regression paradox. I think video games help us understand Quantum Physics, but video game logic does not prove that we are in a simulation.
35:33 Does anyone know the woman on this picture? Also, did you guys watch Black Mirror? There’s an episode about this kind of VR game 😶 very good video 👌🏽
38:44 sheeeeesh imagine something as expansive and infinitesimally complicated as our reality STILL needing to conserve resources in order to operate...
In the end you are talking about that people in the past believed in a 'higher power' and nowadays people still believe even with high science and technology, because people don't know how they and this world came into existance. Aren't we also proving a 'higher existance' with sciene and technology right now? The virtual reality theory doesn't imply a 'nerdy programmer in the basement'. It's kinda sad that even with those theories people insists to disbelieve in a 'God' aka 'Higher existance' aka 'Programmer'. We might be able to make our own virtual reality, but those only include all the things we have observed until this day. So this virtual reality will only exist of those observations, so aren't we just creating a new game with a very large map?
The cat represents the state of the quanta's and the quanta's itself. By the experiment, the cat (quanta's) can't be the quanta's and the observer simultaneously because it can't observe itself, If i understood it correctly.
@Mathew-oq-9ru thanks for the reply - good point - may be. But then, in any case, if the cat cannot be an observer it's never actually a quantum system, but just a macroscopic system of daily life, and thus does not obey quantum uncertainty ...
This is The Philosophy of Albert Camus. The universe doesn't exist for 'you'; it exists for the once-conscious chicken that was eaten at your local KFC, yesterday at 5pm.
2 Corinthians 6:16 (NKJV): And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.
5:08 this always irritates me. It doesn’t change when a person looks at it. It changes when “observed” using a measuring device. In any other experiment that measuring device would be the cause of the change through direct or indirect action. Instead people think our thoughts change particles and waves.
Viewing quantum mechanics as randomness is a mistake, it appears random but everything is set in stone but I have a feeling this won't change. The quantum will always be confusing because we are inquisitive in nature and would get through any challenge to get to the truth, for this very reason the truth has to be obscured.
In physics, quantum tunnelling, barrier penetration, or simply tunnelling is a quantum mechanical phenomenon in which an object such as an electron or atom passes through a potential energy barrier that, according to classical mechanics, the object does not have sufficient energy to enter or s
Feynman ==> pronounced fine'mun. Nothing fey about it. Sloppy, incompetent work -- but quite in line with the video as a whole. It's shallow, flaky, pop stuff.
