That's what I need. I've been hearing what sounds like a rattling noise ONLY when I accelerate. When i release the gas it stops. Comes back right when I push gas again. I have not found a single video that has the sound that I hear. Dealership can't replicate it somehow but I hear it everytime I drive. Drives me crazy!!
@@tlynn609 Your noise sounds like one of the pieces inside your catalytic converter, resonator or muffler came loose so every time you press the gas, it blows exhaust thru the pipes and makes something flap or blow around inside.
Great tips. Too many people assume the worst and panic. Simply getting your hands dirty can save you money and give peace of mind. Also give your technician a better idea what to look for.
Thanks for this, now i have an idea what to look for. Started making this a while back. I hit a speed bump a bit to hard but weirdly no drama near the time it happened. sounds like rocking from suspension than wheel itself.
When my suv goes over even small bumps it makes a noise like someone carrying a stack of plates. I'm installing new shocks and hopefully that helps. I need them either way though lol
Thank You Brother Andy For Your Video i Had 2001 Nissan Pathfinder Making The Same Noise When i'm Driving Over The Bump And Uneven Roads Now i Need To Fix it Thanks Again i'm From Vancouver British Columbia Canada 😁👍👍👌
I have a 95 corolla, it makes some kind of rattling noise when i slightly accelerate (below 2k rpm probably) as I push the gas pedal deeper it will stop doing the noise
Truly great video. Clear and precise with good camera angles. Addressed most rattling noises from underneath the car. I have another one however. My 4wd (Mtisu challenger 2010) has drainage holes in the tubular frame bars. Larger holes on top, smaller in the bottom. Entering via the top holes and unable to escape via the bottom holes some larger pebbles have accumulated in the frame and bounce around with each bump. It's impossible to get it out (unless you tip the truck upside down!) Any suggestions?
12 and 6 o clock should have 0 play in the bearings . Think those bearings need to be tighten up just a bit . Very fortunate these pathfinders have serviceable bearings where you can grease every couple months. I use mine for daily + off road use.
My 93 Buick Park Avenue was making a clunking sound like CLUNK clunk when going over big speed bumbs. So I replaced the whole strut assemblies and the house went away for two months then returned. Was I sold bad struts?
Hey, so I own a 2013 1.6L kia soul. Mostly at highway speeds (but not always) there is a rattle coming from the passenger side. It sounds like a tin can down there. It hallens the most at around 2500 rpms while excelerating. Do you know anything about what it could be. Its not the suspension, im concerned its the transmission
+marvin calon We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
