Why is the Renetti JAK Intimidator Kit So Bad? 

I have a simple solution, just let us put trigger attachments to increase the fire rate on it. No reason why they should be disabled.

The April fools aftermarket part came out a bit late

That slow firerate makes that Kit embarrassingly bad...

We've been having too many good kits as of late, so we were bound to get one bad kit. Shame its the pistol that got the short end though :(

Same dmg as the cor with the half fire rate. Idk how nobody compare this with the cor and saw the huge difference

While the stats says this gun sucks, I do have success using this akimbo with attachments that help your hipfire spread. However, I can also say you'd be much better using the COR-45 Akimbo than this gun, but hey it helps for a nice change of pace. I mainly only use this as a last resort when my main gun is either close to no ammo left or if the mag runs dry.

Ace the akimbo attachment doesn't drop the damage with the kit. that's what I've been using the kit with and it works pretty well.

I've used the conversion kit in hardcore since I'm working on the camos.

Ace, I think you should look into the cs15 laser. It makes the hipfire for most weapons ultra tight when your standing still, so essentially you're a human sentry gun!

I actually like this kit, haha. I have it with the quick draw grip and hipfire accuracy attachments for when I run out of ammo for my primary.

Should have better range but a slower TTK than the Cor-45

What about using them akimbo? Does that do anything to help? Because I'd kinda be into the idea of them adding a Berreta that is only good when it's used akimbo.

If they're gonna nerf the fire rate so bad, they should have buffed the damage to at least 75 to the body.

I've actually been really enjoying this kit/gun and I feel like I can hold my own in most lobbies. Its low RoF means its deceptively accurate at mid and even long ranges. Going for headshots is key and I'd recommend using Stalker to boots to exploit the ADS walk speed and try to catch people off guard when approaching corners and lanes. 413ms isn't quick, but considering the TTK + ADS time of many of the guns in the game, its usually enough. And again, the crazy ADS walk speed can give you an advantage in gunfights if you pop in and out of cover or to throw off the enemies aim.

Not letting us use a lighter trigger in this was a bad call, if we could use the bruen express trigger it would make it significantly easier to use

I have a feeling it’s not supposed to be like this because it released early without a weekly challenge so I don’t know. It’s basically a worse base Cor-45. if they let us use trigger attachments, it might be some use to it

I called this out after I unlocked it. I love that they added turning it into a semi auto, but the fire rate is just to slow. It's sad too cause I loved the Renetti in mw19. I preferred it in semi auto. I never used the 3round burst mod in mw19 so I was excited when this got added. Really is unfortunate they made it so bad. Hopefully they buff the RoF on it.

Man, I dunno? I've always been pretty good with pistols, but the M9 by itself has been treating me pretty well even in pretty high SBMM lobbies. It's not anything crazy, but I can at least crank out a decent 2~ KDR. A lot of the MW2 pistols still feel a lot worse than it - especially the P890 - with or without akimbo. The default Renetti's still better by virtue of shooting three times as fast, but I wouldn't call the Intimidator the worst in the game.

Where do you information about damage values? Is there some kind of mw3 wiki page?

Only way to increase the rate of fire, is to use akimbo. Cor45 still outshines it in that aspect.

I actually really liked using this gun when i did use it. However, i absolutely see why it's bad and now understand why i missed so many shots. i thought I should've hit. The wasy solution i see is made it to where you can put trigger attachments on and have the ability to get a two shot kill with a headshot and a body shot. This would massively help the gun out as a higher risk higher reward pistol while still letting it have a chance against other pistols or smgs

So what I'm hearing is that I should stick with the 9mm daemon if I want to use a 9mm semi-auto pistol.

Got 1 work that instantly makes this gun god tier on multiplayer “akimbo”

Honestly, at max range, headshots should be at least 90 to make it more forgiving to get a 2 shot with how bad the FR is in comparison to any other pistol against body shots. This will help out the kit a whole lot more, and it will be better to have an increase to recoil accuracy.

Call me a masochist if you want but i like this with akimbo. The "1" shot headshot and "2" to the body... Plus with it being semi instead of burst with way less bullets to kill its way more consistent, and with those 15 rounds get you way more kills.

My guess is the aftermarket part is for players who want a non burst version of the Renetti.

They should make it like the cor45 but the trade off is slower fire rate (faster than it is now tho) for good headshot multiplier or smth

With how bad the fire rate is without trigger upgrades, this at least should've performed like MW2's P890 which was a very reliable secondary. Pretty sure it 2 shotted people if you hit one body shot and 1 headshot.

I been having a lot of fun with this gun akimbo but to add on to the fun I been running with the perk that give u 2 secondaries. So I been running with 2 different akimbo and I found out that the top 3 akimbo is the cor renetti and the daemon

Best use case for this is to recreate the Samurai Edge only if you really want it to be as accurate to the RE games as possible

Just wanted to highlight that the Jak Signal Burst on the DM56 not only one bursts people but with a single headshot can kill in 3 shots. That's right the 4 shot burst gun can kill in 3 shots far more consistently than the actual 3 shot burst guns.

I think it's probably a bug since it's not meant to be available yet and they just forgot to change the base RoF value for the gun from the burst fire version.

I prefer just using the p890 ever since mw2 as a great backup or as a really good primary,since its a insanely fast ttk in close range with 2 headshots

The only reason this exists is to give hardcore players another pistol they can level up that will perform decent besides just the cor pistols

This was OP in the BETA and you could use it as an SMG they like nerf anything when we like to have fun.

This gun is already the best gun to use in hardcore, so this might actually be worth it for SnD.

Ace, you didn't point out the other fact that if you put an optic on it the dot doesn't line up with the center of the optic, which means it will be even harder to hit those headshots accurately. Easily the most broken kit they've released so far, but in a bad way.

Managed to get the strafe speed to 4.9 m/s, fries if you keep moving side to side!

TBF if you use it akimbo its actually pretty reliable I like it better than the cor in akimbo I feel like the hipfire with attachments makes it really good.

Also what about using dule renettis with the kit

Honestly I wish handguns would go more towards this than what we currently have. There is no reason a handgun should be a better choice than some rifles/smgs/lmgs/etc. Like a renetti is better to have than a riveter at close range. That shouldnt fuckin happen

Even though it sucks on paper, I still actually like this kit. It's a great finisher. It's not a primary but as a real backup, it's pretty good. Maybe I'm just a masochist for using it. I dunno. lol

4.9 aim walking speed is possible, not very redeeming just thought it was important to note. Also, I like this kit with the akimbo attachment, it may not be better than the cor but it’s good enough to compete

Honestly I've Tried It With Akimbo Before, It Actually Makes It Pretty Good. It Makes It Have A Good TTK At Close Range. Also Yeahhhhhhh Without Akimbo I Think It's The Worst Weapon In The Game. Garenteed.

I enjoy the kit, i find more success with it than burst fire, though i treat secondaries as that ... A secondary, only to run faster around the map, if someone is too close for my primary, or im stuck in reload with primary. I dont care too much for ttk, im just playing the game. Also 3D printed visual 🤓👍

i find it odd that they dont make a normal attachment for it it makes no visual difference, just prevents the "3d printed" look And, as bad as it may be, i love it. It's fun! I wish the trigger attachment wasn't locked. it simply feels good to use I liked the renetti in 2019, glad i can have it now, the damage needs to be bumped up at least As for the recoil, I find that it's manageable if you control your shots a bit, delay your firing a small amount What im saying is, play it like a Swat gane, use cover and such

This maybe bad when using it normally, but with akimbo? This thing can tear down enemies quite quickly since the damage is not reduced, compared to other semi-auto handguns

They are great for Akimbo use, and the classic M92 is pure style.

I main handguns and was pretty hype about this Kit being a fan of the Barretta but, quickly noticed how horrible this pistol was in the stats and lack of a trigger option. There is absolutely NO redeeming qualities about this handgun at all. Still has recoil even tho theres kits coming out that practically deletes all recoil on the gun, cranks the bullet velocity but tanks the damage range, and it even fires slower than the base P890 from mw2. Glad you reviewed this gun cause its definitely the worst kit they've released so far, and probably wont get a second look for a few updates

I think the purpose is to finish off enemies that are already damaged? It’s a high base damage, so sometimes you’ll one shot someone who’s already hurt. Still pretty much pointless though

Has anyone revisited the sidewinder AMP? I think there’s a bug or they changed it in some way

The only good thing good about this is that if you use jt in akimbo and hit both hit shots to the head you can get an instant kill

The only redeeming quality that the gun MIGHT have, is pairing it with the Kar98. If you land a leg shot or don’t get that one shot due to range, this might help you get the quick kill due to fast draw. Granted the Cor45 might be better for this. Only situation where it MIGHT have a place. And that’s a SMALL ‘might’

tbh i have good success with this gun as a true secondary if I run out of ammo in my magazine in my gun since switch to ur pistol still faster then reloading
