Why is there a statue of poet John Keats at this London hospital? 

The romantic poet John Keats was actually a licensed apothecary and studied to become a surgeon at Guy's hospital (just south of London Bridge). He left to pursue his writing but died at the age of 25. There is a statue of him in Guy's hospital today.
