I want to congratulate Guido TV footage of the richness of this island. It’s beautiful to watch and see how in itself guido TV is not just about entertainment but also about helping this nation to get on the world’s map. I think you have explored more than us srilankens. You have learned a lot of Sinhala and Tamil before going to that place. You are a lovely couple. Your lover or wife looks very beautiful in saree. . I will go to Jaffna in October. I like to enjoy Tamil food and explore the city and those islands.

When I was a teenager during 70s always goto malayan cafe same tables chairs interior cleanest don't forget the tasty foods nothing is changed and still I would recommend everyone.

Never seen a tourist going all the way to Nagadeepa.Very impressed with you talking to locals in Sinhala and you seem to know lot of words Not many restaurants as you say to cater for tourists as after the war was over the city is still developing. Just to correct you, LTTE waged a war against the government of Sri Lanka and they were defeated in 2009. Thanks for promoting Jaffna.

The Sri Lankan government did the Tamil population dirty(riots, murders , language discrimination and other kind of discrimination) that's why Ltte was created. Without the dirty bloody games of Sinhalese politicians there would never have been a Ltte. The Sinhalese politicians are for the dustbin. They have a majority complex.
Jaffna or northern province doesn't have tourist because it is not much developed as a result of war for 30 years. It has a lots of potential for beach tourism

Freedom fighters!!! My foot!! Freedom fighters don't kill their own people and don't use them as a human shield. Most important thing is if they were real freedom fighters they shouldn't have given weapons to children. The Tamil people I know are mostly from Jaffna and we studied together in Colombo. Some of my lectureres were Tamils, and my neighbors are mostly Tamils as my birthplace is Wellawatta, Colombo never liked the L.T.T.E. and they are glad the war is over. FYI, there were Tamils also in the government forces. Another thing is I witnessed that Jaffna tamils and Colombo tamils don't like each other. So Prabakaran was a Christian and was from a lower caste in Tamil society. So the Hindu tamils, specially the higher caste tamils never supported the ltte. I visited Jaffna during the Norway backed "Peace Time". They are definitely not freedom fighters my friend.
