Why is this election so white? - 'We are not represented' | Anywhere but Westminster 

I think the election being 'so white' might have something to do with the U.K being a majority white country.

The bit just after 8 minutes when he says " May seems stronger than Corbyn and will be able to handle Brexit negotiations better". He then walks into a shop with a massive Sun Newspaper awning. I think we see the root of the problem here.

i am indonesian, here we have 5 national religions, 300 ethnic groups that devided into 1340 tribes, those tribes spoken 1211 languages, and we still sing one anthem, salute one flag, we even take interracial-interreligion jokes as funny, a few prejudice and rarely killing each other. i believe england can find a common ground to peacefully overcome racial issues, your odds is fewer and your history is great.

I see a journalist going on the street and speaking to normal people and simply asking them their opinions. Everyone is complaining about mainstream medias and I think this a great alternative when it come to elections. I noticed in Handsworth that the people standing around unemployed and in the betting shop were afro-Caribbean, while the people who owned all the shops were Asian. In a country where so many whites are supposedly racist, why do Asians own all the shops in a place like Handsworth. Why are just over half of people in medical school in the UK Asian, why will over half of people who will be admitted to the Bar in the UK this year come from an Asian background. And why amongst those at medical school or being admitted to the Bar will Jewish people be over represented as a proportion of their total population in the UK? Its about those who work and value education and those who do not. And women covering their face in the presence of a man is inherently un-British.

Got to love the irony about people talking about certain sections of society not integrating and when someone highlights that and the issues they face, the same people whinge about the UK being 'white' and The Guardian having an agenda. Once again an absolutely brilliant video from John and well done for highlighting some the forgotten people of the country.

Well, it's so white because 85% of Britain is white. So even by your own rules of enforced nonsensical diversity designed to get parliament to represent arbitrary characteristics such as gender, you would still get an overwhelmingly white parliament. This is basic stats. It is taught in secondary school to teenagers. If these racists who think that skin colour matters so much (I believe we have people with similar views among the white community, they're called ethno-nationalists but you just call them nazis. The problem is you also call all sorts of other people nazis too, so it's difficult to separate them out for you.) then these people are quite welcome to leave the country and go live in a country with skin colour that is more to their liking. We are proud of our free country here in Britain. We do not demand anybody stay here. We're not on board with those who are anti-equality and believe that certain groups of people deserve special privileges based upon arbitrary characteristics like skin colour or gender. I would say that looking at this, these people are not represented any worse or better than the majority of the working classes of this country. The divide is not racial, it is a class divide between politicians and ordinary people. This is why Corbyn fails to rouse the working classes to his side in claiming to be against the establishment. It is because he is merely the controlled opposition within the establishment. People like Corbyn and Dennis Skinner need to be removed so that a serious opposition to the establishment can form. Until that point, nothing will change in a positive fashion.

Good video, it's always important to talk about the UK's racial issues lest we forget how hard life is for some of these groups, and in some of these communities.
