I guess supercell needs innovative and interesting new characters to keep the game alive, and if you think about it rare brawlers have really easy-to-understand kits and gameplay, so new brawlers can't fit into the rare category. super rare has the same problem too imo
Acting as if el primo isn't more complex than edgar and mico. Rarities don't really mean complexity its just whether or not supercell wants them to be as available
@@remic3605its mechanics and uniqueness that determine rarity. primos mechanics are all super simple but edgar is a new players first introduction to the life steal mechanic and his auto charging super was unique at the time of his release. mico is the only brawler with a jump for his attack and his super is a completely also the only one of it's kind in the game
Maybe instead of adding more rare or super rare brawlers they could convert existing and less interesting brawlers into lower rarities. For example Jacky can go from super rare to rare or Edgar can go from epic to super rare. It doesn’t really solve any of these problems mentioned in the video but it could help even out the rarities a little bit.

Honestly the only reason he shouldnt be a lower rarity is becouse it would ruin his colour scheme, and well no one really cares about edgar either so i would say you should just make him super rare or even rare
If they were it needs to be very easy to understand and have no crazy mechanics, and if they have an idea for a rare or super rare brawler it'll most likely be in a three brawler update
No,the rarity matters,some players would be mad.A rare brawler should be released at the same time as a free brawler so the servers wouldn’t explode(everyone does not use only the free brawler)
I can't just handle the "Supercell won't add rare brawlers becuz Rosa was broken" anymore. Gus, the last super-rare brawler, was not broken at all on launch. If they don't want to release rare brawlers they could release super-rare ones instead.
Starr road is based off the release date of the brawler, you will get the chance to get gus after obtaining three legendaries, so releasing a rare brawler wouldnt be a huge deal, but would create an apocalypse
If they would raise the standards for a higher rarity, they can put some down to rare and super rare and continue to make more higher rarity brawlers. I do think the amount of credits needed for a brawler would have to change to not imbalance how fast you get brawlers
One of the other reason why they don't add new rares is because of the apocalypse with Rosa. Then you had to be lucky or straight up buy the brawler, but now once ppl now a rare is coming, they spare 200 credits and boom rare unlocked. It would be like giving a brawler for free... AN APOCALYPSE

I think he deserves to be super rare because: His mechanic is not simple enough Newbies won't learn his mechanics so quickly, because they probably don't even read the brawlers description lol and, by the time these newbies get Gus, they will already have a little more knowledge about the game, reducing the chances of such mistakes. I think if Gus was a rare brawler, I'd see newbies aiming his super at enemies a lot more often.
I don’t think it is a problem, the rarity’s existing just makes progression easier to map out. It also adds familiarity. For example, no matter how I feel about Draco (I actually like him a lot) I can always fall back on primo as a reliable tank while the Meta fluctuates. Also amazing video ❤
Summary: rare brawlers are easy to unlock so when one releases every game you go into has that character and that character only, along with them not having ideas basic enough to be such a low rarity
I like the rarity, it makes you feel like their truly worth either common rare epic mythic or legendary. Especially legendary because you dont get them so often but when you do its a blast. Although some brawlers id argue deserve to put higher in rarity.
Rare brawlers have something that no new brawlers have , They actually feel ICONIC(which most characters don't )and are a good mix of simple and impactful in a small package
I think brawl stars should add like 5 new rares and they should sell a bundle offer to get all of them for like 30 dollars. They should also experiment with simple, but cool mechanics
It's easy to explain, rare brawlers are supposed to be here for the new players learns about the mechanics and roles, the same for super rares, since they're supposed to be a tutorial brawler we doesn't need more of them, after all 2 or 3 days playing you probably gonna unlock some mythic and epic brawlers, the rare brawlers are essential to new player's but almost useless for veterans since they are easy to counter and had better options to choose, like who's gonna choose colt for sniper if has piper? Obviously some of them are unique enough to still pickable in high matchs like Poco and Brook
@Bl0kymtt they need money otherwise how do they maintain the game. Even then new brawlers really only effect more end game players imagine playing for like 10 years and still unlocking rare brawlwea that'd be boring. They're made for the beginning of the game and they need money. That's fine

Everyone is saying that they like money and that's the reason bcs rare brawler take less credits which means less playing and buying, but think about a little bit, they gave us 5 legendary Starr drops, 100 Starr drops, they gave us everything we wanted, (boxes back+ frank rework) they gave us fun and interesting brawlers, new gamemodes, and, yea, they might give too low amounts of bling when it is trophy reset, but if we didn't count that, they gave us literally everything. Be grateful u spoiled kids.
"Rarity=simplicity" argument is debatable though. Some brawlers MUST become lower rarity, both because we have too much epics and mythics, and because older brawlers are simpler compared to new ones. If you look at Pam's mechanics, there is no reason why she is more rare than Gus, or why Bairon is a higher rarity compared to Berry.
Because they don't cost much. I personaly do NOT understand why someone would not want to get a brawler just because it is rare, as a free to play player I would love if supercell stopped to include just legendary and mythic brawlers Especially because where I live (brazil) a dollar cost 5 "reais" so something that costs 20 dollars in the game here costs 100 reais

That isn't a good idea. It takes no time at all to get a rare brawler. You get 100 credits for every tier that gives you credits on the brawl pass, which gives 1000 credits on the free side of it. A rare brawler only needs 160 credits to be unlocked. Running an event for a whole month just for a rare brawler is pointless. When Griff and Grom were released they had challenges that lasted for a very short amount of time that allowed players to unlock them for free, and they're epic brawlers so it made a little more sense
I do not agree. I think they don't release new rare brawlers because they want to get more money with the early acess bundles. Yes ofc it's better to have a new cooler brawler but it also doesn't make sense to add 5000 legendaries because like 80% of the players probably don't even have more than 2 or 3 legendaries. Also they really should reduce the gem costs for brawlers because 30+ € for a single brawler is too much even if it is a legendary
Rare should be called base, super rare should be called common, epic should be called rare, mythic should be called epic and then there should be legendary
they need to add a new rarity or 2. if theres only 5 and you arent adding any to 2, thats stupid. epic and mythic have TWENTY FIVE brawlers each and rares only have 8! Throphy roads and chromatics should come back, i dont know why they were even removed. Any other thing is why is the LEAST RARE BRAWLERS CALLED RARES? HUH? yeah brawl stars raritys make no flipping sense
i didnt wached a vid yet so sry if i repeat you but imo they dont add new rare brawlers bc if they add rare it will be cheap so people wouldnt buy boundels with that brawler cuz 1/2 weeks later we can unlock it with 160 cradits so they are not gonna get money
@@longpants108he meant that once you unlock every rare brawler, you will never unlock other rares since every brawler we get is Epic, Mythic or Legendary
