Why is illegal? If the single engined aircraft died midair, it would crash to someone's home and ruin a tea time. Because this is England and do you want to ruin someone's tea time?

“Illegal” here means “not certified by the airport”. The police won’t come and arrest you, but the CAA will want some words with you. As for why single engine planes aren’t certified: it has to do with the steep approach angle (5.5 deg. Vs the usual 3 deg), and the fact that it’s mostly surrounded by buildings or water. No nice open green fields for a small plane to land on if a takeoff goes bad, for example.

@@adheesh2secondsago630 I don’t think it’s his pc is dropping FPS. Most likely the screen capture software either has a bug or the pc is focused on the sim task. I’m assuming the FPS is smooth for him. he’s probably using a software to screen record, such as obs, rather than an external elgato, which is why you see the stuttering in the video.

Actually single engine planes aren't banned from going to EGLC. They're just not allowed into some very restricted airspace Swiss started here. It's restricted because it's part of the busiest business/historic centre of London.
