I went to test drive one today and am happy to say it was a blast to drive. I was very surprised by how comfortable the vehicle drives and handles in contrast to what consumers report. It’s interesting to listen and read about people having high expectations for a military vehicle. It was never built to handle and ride like a sports sedan, it was designed for off road use. I personally love how this car handles. Acceleration is lively for a vehicle weighing over 2 tons. The ride is not stiff but not too smooth either. Braking is very impressive, and handling around corners at low speeds did not alarm me one bit. I knew going into this truck meant being careful around turns as this likes to lean a bit. And I experienced no trouble keeping a straight line, I was able to relax and chat with the salesmen and not worry about it wondering. One day in the future I will own one of these. Cheers.

It's been my daily driver for the last 5.5 years, it rocks and does not suck. The one complaint is that the rear seats are small and has no leg room. We're a family of 5 and that is undoubtedly too tight. Everything else is awesome. The ride is awesome. The shocks are great. The vehicle is solid, quick, handles great (though it feels like it's going to roll, it holds a lot longer than you think). Don't think "AMG racing", think "AMG power" and "AMG quality". It's a truck, it pulls trailers incredibly well, handles overland trails well (careful with the clearance of the exhaust), and treads water fine as well - I've had to put the entire thing in the river to back in a boat to deep enough water. I beat the hell out of it and still love it and keep it shiny! Remember, it's not "AMG speed/handling", it's AMG quality and AMG power.

I appreciate it video very much. I drive GLA250, and I have exactly the same problems with the suspension driving in Ann Arbor on the rough roads. You understand what I am talking about, buddy. The other problem is with the gas pedal. It is always irritating when you push the gas pedal, and it takes time for the car to respond. Did not know that all Mercedes models share this kind of problem. Other than that I love this car! It is great!

The G-class' 4matic system is actually a fully legit 4x4 system with center transfer case and low gearing, totally different from any other 4matic system on any other Mercedes-Benz model. That's the main reason why you loved it so much;

I live in Calgary Canada so it’s good to know about winter driving! Believe it or not my career is on its way through the roof and I’m going to get one of these. Wanted something luxury that I could drive in snow. I prefer this over the newest model. I am very “military” so I expect to have a military g series. Thanks for the video.

Is there anything unique about your videos? You use the same cliches, "rifle bolt/bank vault" .. Maybe I've just seen quite a few people reviewing cars, so you end up sounding like 90% of the rest. The way a person does any generic unboxing video.. Unbox it, describe what you're looking at even though the camera is looking at it... Don't actually go into any depth beyond what the brochure says. You could be reviewing anything from toasters to cell phones, with the same generic approach. (I actually think some of the people making automotive videos actually started out doing unboxings.. which is why they just read the stats sheet then go straight to pushing button and telling the viewer what buttons are for in a car) If you have any previous experience in the automotive industry, if you have any driving experience, maybe you find engineering to be interesting..Bring that personality into the video
