My dads a convicted felon and when I was little I asked him what he went to prison for and he told me it’s because he cut the tag off a mattress believed this up till about age 11 when I learned it was multiple counts of armed robbery. Edit: I didn’t think my comment would get this many likes wow

You missed some crazy laws from San Francisco, California. I only know the reason for one of them and it actually makes sense. The others, not so much. 1. You may not eat an orange with your pet giraffe while riding the trolley. 2. You may not eat an orange while in the bath 3. You may not ride a horse down the Golden Gate Bridge. This one was because during a parade (i believe in the 90s but I could be wrong) there was a group of police officers riding horses in the parade. Because of the vibration coming from the hooves of the horses while they walked, the Bridge started to sway and fall apart. Riding a horse across the Golden gate Bridge will literally destroy it.

I think a couple of these laws should stay for example, the one not being able to pretend ur blind to get benefits from it.

I agree. It's reprehensible to fake a disability or disease in order to obtain some benefit. BTW, it's, "YOU'RE blind", as in, "you are blind", not "your".

I live in Maryland and in the State of Maryland you can not curse it's against the law to do it anywhere here ESPECIALLY next to a police officer, but a lot of people curse especially in middle school's so most people don't even know it's a law.

As someone from near Minnetonka, that one law is really weird. We get snow all the time, and muds on the tires. In the winter, they don’t enforce it as much.

In Chico, CA its a $500 fine to detonate a nuclear device within city limits. This came about when a nuclear missile on the outskirts of town blew up inside the silo (the propellant blew up not the actual nuclear warhead) and it spread dangerous material all around. It was more of a thumbing of the nose towards the federal government since they didn't want the silos so close to their city.
