Yodo-dono was the wife of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a powerful Japanese daimyo who ruled the country in the late 16th century. Yodo played an important role in Hideyoshi's rise to power. What's more messed up about her life is that Oda Nobunaga was her mother's older brother. So her uncle was responsible for her father's and older brother's death.

You should do a video on Mōri Motonari's relationship with his 1st wife Lady Myōkyū whom was his favorite. Their relationship was is said to be a loving one since Motonari took no concubines while she was alive and wrote about his feelings about her after she died. Or perhaps Izumo No Okuni the inventor of Kabuki and Kuroda Kanbei remaining on good terms with his wife Lady Teru despite converting to catholicism.

Thank you for making this video. Lady Yodo is an interesting figure. I first learnt about Lady Yodo from the anime, Nurarihyon no Mago, where a fictionalised version of her was depicted as a vessel of Hagomoro Gitsune. Thank you for talking about the real Lady Yodo.
