He was doing a lot of this stuff before Streaming and social media centric PR was as big as it is today so getting those numbers wasn't as easy either. Which is why even Hip-pop's greats like J Cole and Eminem at one stage at least looked up to Ye, like it or not.

If you put in the time to see how many songs he ripped off of artists in the 70's, 80's, and 90's it's shocking.
