Your argument is fair, however I would wait until next chapter to see Gege’s explanation because he is definitely going to explain some kind of conversation they had beforehand. Also I think what Gege is going to say is that Inumaki is doing this as a last gambit to kill Sukuna. Perhaps they all agreed that this would destroy Inumaki’s throat and it potentially wouldn’t even work. They had more faith that Higuruma could kill Sukuna with the executioner sword opposed to Yuta using limitless against Sukuna. And when they saw one way to kill him, they scrambled and Toji clapped the audio device in the domain as a last ditch effort.

I agree but I think the problem was like the issue with Todo being out of the fight for so long, Gege forgot and maybe didn’t plan on using Inumaki at all until Sukuna started suffering from the same issue Madara did. The final villains were made too strong so there needed to be a reasonable way of getting higher damage out.
I'm not even sure Gege forgot about Inumaki since it was foreshadowed in Chapter 222. I feel that Gege didn't think everything through regarding ability interactions.

It would take too much thinking to go through and look for nitch arguments, but the idea of inumaki using a binding vow on the range of cursed speech seemed like a real stretch to me. On principal any*thing* that hears the voice is effected, and I think of personal binding vows as literally just an option, a give that you can undo and a take you can do while the give is given, and given the nature of cursed speech, if a binding vow could do that, then why couldn't he use one to practically disable it so he can talk like normal.
The reason they didn't pull higuruma out of the battlefield is he would have refused anyways. Before his death there's dialogue of him asking kusekabe questions, and kusekabe's answer is something like "curses getting Stronger after death falls in line with what we know" So the obvious conclusion from this is higuruma's plan for self sacrifice to curse sukuna. the scene the night before, whenever he's talking to Yuji where he says he's ashamed of who he's become that seeing someone as selfless as Yuji haunts him. He can't even bring himself to look him in the eyes The idea was to power up the executioners sword, possibly so that the sword will kill Sukuna itself (don't underestimate dying curses). Instead, Yuji shows up for Higuruma at the last second saving his soul. We can gather it's a bad thing to die cursing someone because--- The airport. Nanami is saying he almost fucked up and died cursing, but Haibara appeared and saved (keyword) him. We know nanami and higuruma deaths parallel each other. So higuruma trying to power up the executioners sword, may have manifested as complete removal of Kamutoke instead, but it also means that Nanami probably used his death imbuing his cleaver with his technique as a gift to Yuji. (The scene with Ino, it's apparent that he doesnt feel like he should be the one to have it)----(plus, he always bugged nanami to leave his watch for him according to fanbook). (I still sorta think Higuruma may have even survived because he didn't curse sukuna. Only time will tell.) The reason yuta/yuji is plan B is simply judgeman's ability to differentiate between the vessel and the soul contained in it. It's the only method with 100% chance of working. Kenjaku's defeat was even more necessary than Sukuna's. Todo being in Gasho Colony with Yuta until after 248 when Higuruma was already out. It also seems like todo literally just got his technique back that day. Jjk side would have had more people around for executioners sword, but Sukuna threw Higuruma like miles, and only Yuji had the speed to follow. Sukuna being in a domain with yuta only having 1 skill is why sukuna didn't expect inumaki. On top of inumaki prob just have died from the difference in their strength if he tried any sooner. I can't really respond well on here cuz I'm on tablet and it gets HELLA LAGGY for some reason after a couple paragraphs,

This is some of the exact stuff I've been talking about with friends, the plan the characters cooked for over a MONTH was to just throw Higuruma in and not account for the fact that once hes used Deadly Sentencing and provided the executioners sword he should be taken to safety. Even without Inumaki, if they kept that sword on the field for when Todo came in, it'd be over for Sukuna, Higuruma is such and invaluable win condition in every scenario of this fight and somehow we got the least thought out one. JJKs been on a long stretch of issues from the end of the culling games to now, but the sheer idiocy for the Sukuna raid is easily one of the most prevalent. Good video, glad to see more discussion around the planning of the fight seeing as its one of the better critiques of JJK.
Did you favorite character die little buddy. It's alright, the villain that's been hyped up since Episode 1 is doing what the strongest sorcery in history does, it's not bad writing because you don't like the whooping Sukuna is giving out.

I think Shinjuku right now is suffering from redundacy, for both the readers and writer. I have no clue what's going on through Gege's mind, but it seems like he just ran out of plans for the series. He's just on full autopilot and thinking "Eh, don't need this character anymore" and kills them. I'm not trying to be an asshole and discredit the author, I think that the deaths of Nanami, Nobara, Toji, all were executed very well (should Nobara have been killed early? No. Was it executed well? I would say... kinda). But this arc has been so repetitive to read, that I can't help but think about giant plot holes like this as just "the author forgot...". I really hope that after Sukuna kills Yuta (lets be honest theres no other way for this to go) that we FINALLY get to let Yuji and Todo shine in the spotlight. We've been waiting TOO DAMN LONG.
Sukuna is the strongest being in the verse, and he's displaying why. Do you expect some quick fight or something? You don't think that the majority of the cast is going to die or get injured to the point they are almost dead? Like, what is up with you people and acting like the story should be sunshine and rainbows and the good guys win with no injuries and the bad guy loses in typical fashion? @@chumbue6537 My problem isn’t that everyone is dying to Sukuna. I expect that. My problem is that it’s REDUNDANT. It’s drawn out, and frankly, it’s boring. I can give you a counter example: Kaido from One Piece. This guy gets fought so many different times (with the last couple times being consecutive), and he never felt boring to watch. And I’m not talking about the anime, I read this as manga. When you do long fights like this, one of the most important things to do is plan out how each new character is going to play a specific role. Higuruma took out Kamutoke, that’s completely fine! But everyone else just wittles him down a little and then dies. It’s gotten to the point where people have actively called this out with Inumaki (“Why didn’t Inumaki tell Sukuna to hold still while Higuruma had Executioners Sword?”). Meanwhile in Kaido’s case, we see what holds back each different group and every different fight, so I don’t have to ask myself “Why isn’t Zoro helping out Luffy???” It seems so basic in theory, but because Gege is skipping this step in practice and repeating the same “Sukuna cycle”, I apologize but it’s not engaging, at ALL.

From my point of view, the plan was to save Megumi and that is the reason for the team Higuruma and Yuji, Higuruma blocking Sukunas tecnics and Yuji beating the shit out of Sukuna with the triton arms, but the jury going for Sukunas weapon defeted the porpous of this team, once this happend, we start to see more aggressiveness from everybody. Risking Uiui is a stupid dession since he is their way to set up every part of the plan without Sukuna kwoning or detecting they are there and Uiui is the one not letting Sukuna consume the defeted onces (my english is trash, so plis tell me if i need to explain something)

The second ui ui takes higuruma away, sukuna knows he’s gonna come back, the more risk sukuna is at the less he is going to play around, and the less people the less time he spends fooling around, higuruma is the only reason we stalled for yuta to come, without it, sukuna just destroys everyone and chapter 248 happens like 5 chapters sooner. Plus, if they do return higuruma later for todo to swap him, he would instantly be aware of higuruma’s energy and be on the defensive, he might just bum rush higuruma and one shot him, in the most recent chapter 263 sukuna showed to be able to completely outspeed yuji even while weakened so much, including soul damage which limits physical capabilities, so he will have zero issue reacting to higuruma is he senses him, which he will. Secondly, how long does the executioner blade last? forever? until he kills the target? higuruma’s effect doesn’t last FOREVER obviously, so what if it runs out before he can make it back? Third, the cursed speech plan only worked because yuta planted the recorder and used blue to pull it from behind, since nobody else can do this, this only can happen in his domain because the second yuta in gojo’s body pulls up, it’s insta clash or everyone dies. But let’s say todo puts the recorder somewhere and swaps himself or someone else with it, that could work, but again after being frozen they would have to immediately summon higuruma there and have higuruma stab sukuna before the effect goes off, this is the ONLY way it might work because if higuruma enters the battle before hand, sukuna will sense it, and this is all considering that higuruma’s technique even lasts this long, and that the battle plays out exactly the same way, which it won’t, because higuruma is the only reason they stalled for yuta to save yuji, if higuruma isn’t there, nobody has sukuna’s attention to play with which means he will be pressuring itadori and everyone else more, and sukuna is more on guard because he knows higuruma will be back, yuji might just die before yuta even shows up, i mean sukuna cleaved his stomach open and then left for higuruma, if higuruma isn’t around, sukuna isn’t gonna leave itadori because nobody else has his attention. So no, this plan fails because they simply don’t have enough time to stall for yuta to show up without the others dying, and yuta will be far more on guard.
Honestly pretty good plan but it doesn't work because they don't how much fraudkuna will be weakened by his fight with go/jo as such using a plan where the win con is there in the battlefield at the start to use everyone else as the death fodder to get an opening seems resonable. And even if they did the plan that just leaves the anti fraudkuna squad to die. If there is no higuruma to fascinate the fraud he is going to focus on yuji and with him being full power most likely kill him before yuta comes or at the very least severely fuck him up. Meaning yuta domain expansion ends earlier with sukuna not taking nearly as much damage and with much more ce and potentially even outright killing yuta before he can be saved. Meaning the rest of the gauntlet after the domain also die. So there won't be anybody to help higuruma after a certain point. Though this would work if maki is there at the start to keep yuji alive so when yuta uses his domain yuta yuji and higuruma are inside with the two of them beating the frauds ass and holding him down for higuruma to get a killshot
Everyone is forgetting a crucial point. This Sukuna, that may have killed Inumaki, was unbelievably weakened. He has no heart whatsoever, he is missing two limbs as well and one of his eyes are gone. His cursed energy is low, and cursed speech stacks to the cursed energy of the opponent. They did damage sukuna on the initial phase of the plan. Yuji did soul damage while Higaruma provided support along with Choso. Take out a player and Sukuna can more easily dominate. Swap out a player and risk getting everyone there dessimated. Ui Ui only targets the people Sukuna has finished off because he knows he'd never slip past him otherwise.
Nothing is being forgotten. I literally mention that the current Sukuna in Chapter 262 is severely weakened. Also, Yuji's soul damage only really started taking effect once the fight in Yuta's domain starts. Higuruma has nothing to do with that. Plus, you can't tell me that Ui UI doesn't have the reaction time to grab Higuruma immediately when Chapter 248 exists. All it took was Yuji stalling Sukuna for 3 PANELS for Ui Ui to have enough time to teleport somebody.
Yeah but what were told is sukunas CE levels have fallen to yuta levels so he still has higher CE then literally everyone else which is something I will never understand why gege mentioned
@@TheLocalW that's not the issue. Yuji can stall Sukuna but if he wanted to Sukuna could have focused on Yuji and taken him down immediately. He wasn't taking the fight seriously. If he literally ever noticed Ui Ui existing, that critically hurts any future plans of saving other characters using him. Sukuna would know not only to kill players beyond repair but to target players more seriously. Rather then just KOing them and forgetting. It's showing their hand, and over relying on a specific character. That's what they did with Gojo, and Gojo is Go/Jo. Sukuna is too smart for your plan.
@@danielkapekele1462 how is it a comparison issue? We are told he has better efficiency than anyone not named gojo and has yuta levels CE (in chapter 260 if I’m not mistaken) and that’s the problem he shouldn’t be getting stopped by inumaki or hell he shouldn’t even be struggling in general
with the same logic they should've just sent everyone in with gojo in the first place, it's contingency after another until he's weak enough for the only move that'll work on his ass, a hollow purple
I wrote a long comment but TLDR, if higuruma leaves sukuna is more on guard and nobody stalls sukuna’s interest long enough for yuta to show up, itadori will likely die before yuta can save him, because the only reason sukuna didn’t kill everyone is because he was focused on his interest with higuruma, without it, he’s just gonna kill the others
Sukuna:"OH, the guy I know who has a one shot ability just disappeared. I guess I'll just keep on fighting normally lol." 1. Sukuna took special interest in Higaruma prior to their contact in that fight. 2. Sukuna was aware of Gojos missing body upon contact with Kashimo. So any Ui Ui shenanigans would be under heavy risk. Utilising it for offensive capabilities is too risky. Ui Ui doesn't have the reaction ability to handle it, hence Miguel saving him.
This is why I dont think Higuruma is dead 😭 Uiui took him but no one really confirmed it. Yes Higi and Yuuji had a moment but hell remember when Yuuta got cut and still survived? Im sure Shoko has him in stable condition

I feel like gege rushing jjk and kinda confirmed how we got justu council got killed and politics around. This battle has clearly been dragged . We introduces so many concepts has not explored like hienian era. Characters killed left and right quickly. Kenjaku hyped up villain and died . The world bulding has not reached full potential.
Mostly rushing to end . The fight with sukuna is way too damn long. Probably bc it final fight but idk. We on final arc and most big issues minus sukuna and star plasma merger has pretty much solved or dealt

Megumi hasn't been told about his dad. We don't know what happened to Nobara. How will the zenin clan face their future. How will the jujutsu world react to Gojos death. There are tons of new plot points to deal with the ramifications of the characters actions. The story has a lot to deal with.
I don’t think saying “they should’ve done this instead of this” is a good way to critique a chapter. The characters were shown even in the precious shibuya incident how bad they are at plan making and problem solving. And it’s not an ass pull for gege to use inumaki in the slightest imo.
I would agree with you if the moment between Yuta and Inumaki in Chapter 222 didn't exist. Yuta saying that he will put Inumaki to work suggests this was planned ahead of time. However, maybe the next chapter clarifies this🤔
I think the conception on Higaruma doing damage to sukuna was that his hand hasn’t been healed after blocking the sword. Also this is something I hate about JJK, so many things are unexplained/under explained that it feels like an ass pull when something like this happens. We have no idea why this HAS to be a one time thing. We don’t know how binding vows work FOR SURE. Why don’t they ALL have an MP3 player with inumakis voice on it? Why didn’t they use this strat when GOJO was gonna fight him. I know gojo wanted to fight alone and all that but FUCK that. This is the strongest sorcerer in history, just buy 100 of those guys, have Yuta and Inumaki use the technique, and have a stun lock strategy against sukuna. But yeah whatever “just read bro!”

@@rpgtimefire see that’s the thing, we don’t know for sure. Hopefully it gets explained, but even then, if you record one use of inumaki using his CT, then all the recordings should count as one use. Like if each fighter pressed record on him saying “don’t move” then that should count as one use.
@@navi0760 thats one use per device not one overall use of his power. He has to transmit the CE at a distance for it to work. In your scenario he would have to apply CE to every device. Only gojo sukana and yuta could have enough reserves to do that. Or maybe mechamaru.

now it is not known that that higuruma can hold the sword and get teleported out there which means his cursed technique out of the range of his target ..let me explain ....higuruma domain technique is to kill the only technique targeted person with the sword with one touch ..other yuji would also have died by touching the sword and this mean his targeted person should be in the range of his technique or if it not in the range than the technique can go ......it is not confirm but we can assume that bcuz of todo and sukuna ..so if he got teleported it is not sure his technique will be there or not because of the range,
3:36 I would argue that sukuna without his curse technique is signifcantly LESS of a threat than you make him out to be yuji and higuruma definetly could've held out until yuta arrived to the fight if he didnt have acess to his curse technique, which from there would've made poking him with the executioners blade a trivial matter I just dont see how sukuna lands any proper fatal damage under the conditions of being like 7v1 without his cursed technique, unless he does a yuji and lands eight black flashes in a row i just don't see it ending as a loss from any angle (but yea they are kind of stupid, i understand that todo needed to be out of range and keep yuji clued out of his plan to get his friends out of shrine.But if the characters were working under the assumption that all they needed to do was have higuruma take his cursed energy then, jump him with executioners blade all he would need to have done was use boogie woogie to mix up sukuna enough to land ONE hit with it)
This is a fair point. My reasoning for my statement at 3:36 is that at the end of the day, it's Sukuna. So, Jujutsu High should be as cautious as possible. Because even with Higuruma gone, once Yuta appears against a no-CT Sukuna that is a guaranteed victory.
You make good points but that’s just faulting their strategy. You sound like those weak chess players who complain and wonder how super GM’s didn’t find the top line in the engine. Like if you mentioned something like Gojo NOT KNOWING Sukuna had an open domain then you’re spittin cuz Yuji should’ve known that. But this is more like plugging the controller into characters and saying the story sucks cuz they didn’t do what you wanted them to. Was hoping for more of an insightful approach than a grown ass man whining that they didn’t play the most optimal moves.
First off, you claim I made good points and then go on to call me weak minded and whining. So, you are contradicting yourself. Secondly, Gojo knowing about Sukuna's Open Domain means nothing because Sukuna is superior in Domain Clashes. Lastly, understanding that a more optimal play could have been made is not "weak." That's just having the desire to want to improve. It's very weird to make such BOLD claims about my character without being insightful about it yourself.
why are the argument against jjk story telling all about ending sukuna in an easier fashion? i understand the struggle but i cant ignore why. after higuruma's death there was a ton of information like yuji being related to sukuna and using shrine , maki vs sukuna also had very intersecting stuff like physical body vs jujutsu , yuta's domain is shown for the first time , but sure man let's end this series early already like duh 🙄🙄
If character’s have to be dumbed down in order for the plot to progress, that's bad writing. All the content you stated is pointless if I ended up feeling in the back of my mind that "they could have made a significantly better decision here."
@@TheLocalW i agree it's gege's fault in the first place in making such op characters anyways disposing of them for the plot continuation is a hassle and will never satisfy fans. jjk characters aren't really the most brightest to begin with , introducing flaws is a crucial since you don't want everything to be too perfect since it's going to be perfect vs perfect and no one wins , either its them dumbed down or sukuna and we know who actually progresses the plot here ( not jjk high that's for sure ). gege could've perhaps done the scenario a little more thorough , it did feel rushed to me for the most part.

I'm not sure what in this video made you assume that I am upset that Sukuna is living up to the hype? I have been enjoying the fact that Sukuna is so strong (there's video evidence on the channel). So, assuming that I'm mad that characters are dying is just being ignorant to what my actual argument is.
