If julio learns to take the 1st pitch or 2 he's going to get more homers, every pitcher in the league knows he's going to come out swinging so they pitch him inside then they pitch him away, getting into 0-2 counts every at bat makes it hard to homer

The reason I asked about Urias is because when JP gets back you will have 3 “bench” players that hit lefties well. Moore Haniger Urias If you don’t trade Urias, how are you fitting all of these guys in?

Best thing julio can do is ask for a trade before he gets ruined like every mariners "prospect" then he can join the long list of former mariners players that succeed immediately when leaving seattle. It's not julio, it's just the losing mentality that is the city of seattle.

The point you guys made about how a team has to rely on their best players being their best players is spot on, which is why I still think this offense will turn around eventually here, because it's not just Julio not being Julio...it's also Garver not being Garver, and Polanco not being Polanco, two guys who we absolutely expected to be good hitters. It's three of our top guys all not hitting, and yet we're still in first place... That actually shouldn't be even possible. I fully expect all of them to get back to normal, and the offense to take off. I also agree with your point on Raley, who could EASILY become the second best player on this team, power, speed, defense, check,check, and check. He's literally better in every single possible way than Haniger, better in the field, has better speed, has more power, (he does!), I would take him over Garver, Polanco, France, Crawford.... Anyone other than Julio, and maybe Big Dumper, who continues to not get the credit he deserves. Second or third best player on the team.
