Such was the speed at which he used to shoot arrows. And Arjuna makes this statement very clear in Kandava Daha Parva. Moreover, A bow is just a tool and not a replacement for a warrior's skill. Think of it like a cricket bat: a well-balanced bat can help Sachin Tendulkar or Virat Kohli score better, but if I use Tendulkar's bat, it won't make me a great player right. Even with an ordinary bat, Tendulkar and Kohli would still outperform me. He emphasized that Arjuna, with Gandiva, possessed numerous deadly weapons and unmatched qualities. - Parshurama, being one of the original owners of the Vijay bow, knows its capabilities well and still declared Gandiva superior. This leaves no room for further debate. One might argue that since the bearer of Gandiva (Arjuna) defeated the bearer of the Vijay bow (Karna), Gandiva must be better.
