Why Keystone is So important & How to Get Best Picture ? ( tutorial)
in this tutorial I've tried to show
- correcting image angle from your projector
- how strait screen placement is important
- how to make keystone correction
- light leaks after digital correction
- things you need to consider before buying projector
BEWARE
- not every projector has this level of correction
OPTOMA UHD 35 is not a standard projector
- Most of the cheap bulp projectors dont have 4 corner correction !
- Many projectors has vertical correction
- if you have too much angle you can also
have sharpness and focus problems I will create another video for this

I remember edge blending was for projecting with multiple projectors to a building or hudge house or similar. Many home projectors dont have these settings. if remember wrong please remind me

A possible method that removes keystone correction is facing your projector 90 degrees away from target and placing a mirror in front of the projector with mirror positioned directly in line with center of room and pointing image at target, in which case no keystone correction is needed and crisp. Also can buy 1st surface mirror to remove mirror glass artifact.

The angle does not really matter, you can put the projector straight onto the screen and still have significant haloing effect. Also, shrinking the image projected onto the screen in an effort to get rid of it is not a fix either, but more of a work with it option.

@@homecinematech I watched the video and again, aiming the projector straight with the screen is not going to fix the light bleed. All it will do is make the light bleed uniform on all sides. As far as image quality goes yes, less digital correcting due to offset projection is better, but to most will not be noticeable.

Yes there is nothing better than perfect angle placement for optical resons and keystone is skewing .But it is a must to have for lot of people.

Also you cannot use 4 Corner Keystone Correction while using gaming mode for higher hz and lover response time with optoma uhd 35. For this video I wanted to keep it short .More tutorrials are about to come.I will be glad to see your comments to my videos to create better content for home cinema lovers.
