Charles knows well how to counter the overly aggressive stuff Max does, of course he loves racing him. Just make him think he is going to fight tooth and nail for every corner like he does, then just let him overshoot the corner then take the place back immediately. Like the start of 2022, he made him look like a dummy a few times. Hamilton did not figure that out, Lando can't seem to either, both of them just want to outbrake Max every time, but it doesn't work because he is constantly just releasing the brakes or deliberately brakes too late in that situation to run people wide. Charles was the only guy in the last few years who straight up outsmarted that type of driving and did not let himself get bullied. Bahrain 2022 is still one of my favorite races because of the back to back overtakes they did for the lead, that fight shows this off well.
The British press just can't handle the fact that Max is a better driver than all of their British drivers, so they keep on complaining and insinuating Max is a villain.
if everyone just follows the rules completely on the line then it's not racing its just being a road driver and driving around in circle How can you call it racing if everything has to be completely under the line and not pushing the limits
Would be better if Charles had car advantage because when Max is confronted with an opponent that has performance over him he reverts to the same over aggressive tactics, like those employed against Mclaren this year and Mercedes in 2021. You can get away with that kinda stuff when your front of the grid and your FIAs golden boy but when your scratching around for 4-5-6 every week your going to be collecting a bucket load more penalty points with that driving style.
Bullshit, when Verstappen didn’t have the car he became third after Mercedes more often then not and was rarely involved in accidents. Kids in karting already get the lesson if you try to go around the outside be prepared to touch some grass. People want racing but when it doesn’t fit the agenda they start crying. If Senna and Schumacher raced today people would scream for a penalty every race.
