I am French and each time I am in Malaysia I feel at home. I return to Malaysia twice a year ... KL...Penang...Malacca... Pangkor island... everywhere the people are adorable, the food delicious and the natural landscapes breathtaking!
I am Sarawakian, and if you ever go to Sarawak during harvest festival I can guarantee you that there are always foods for guests even though they didn't know you or they can't understand you.
The reason why Malaysians are so loving and accepting is because Malaysia is a diverse country with different ethnicities, races and religions. We love and support each and every single person here 💖
Even if you don't pay back the money we consider it a sedekah mean charity. Malaysia is the only country in the world where multi races can practice their religion freely and live in peace and harmony.

Sometime eating on the floor doesn’t mean thet dont have dining table, sometimes cannot cater a group of people... so they choose to eat together on the floor...

Muslims or non-muslims, we treat guests and everyone with honor. You come to our house, your tummy will be happy. Malaysians are generous in term of treating peope with foods.
Islam teach us honor guest no matter where they come from. I understand people of america have prejudice regarding islam, but as a muslim we are taught be kind to all people.

The only problem is language barrier..i mean some of ordinary malaysians..especially malays..they tend to shun away from tourist..bcoz of that. So you may not know.actually they are nice n friendly indeed.0
