to be fair, even Sir Alex only won the champion league twice in his 26 years with Man United, sometimes it require more than a good team to win the CL.
But man united rarely had really brilliant team in europe, compared to milan, madrid, bayern of that era, and at least ferguson only had to wait 9 years for his second. Guardiola is now at 11 years without his next ucl, the longest gap between ucl titles after heynckes. I think all he needs to do is being less explorative. Just play as pragmatically as possible. Even ancelotti got his fourth title, so why can’t he?
@@Abhi-lf1un when the ball doesn't wanna get inside the net and you take 2 goals in 1 min after you dominated for 90 mins means what ?? And that was just the match on bernabeu ... i am not a city fan, but they were dominant last season and only lost ucl due to being very unlucky with real madrid in both semifinal matches
@@azersamedov6731why so jealous? Every great team in Europe expends lots of money, and not every team can use it to play a game so dominating as ManCity; there you have psg, Madrid, Chelsea,
Fun fact : This video but with with PSG instead of Manchester City would be accurate too :) Edit : I do this edit because some low IQ still don't understand the difference between countries' owned club like Man City (Emirates) and PSG (Qatar) and compare with clubs owned by a single person like Chelsea or others.
Sheik is happy with Guardiola because despite he has not won the champions, the team is playing good, they're dominating England, so the club is earning money and project with Guardiola is solid. Hopefully soon he will win it
One of the best Turnarounds in Club's history imo. He made Man city a team that Many players wants to join even for a low salary due to the project. His first words at City were " i want to bring Pride in Manchester City where the Players would love to Be & Fans will Enjoy". Doing that in a club like City is extra ordinary , PSG is another club that has Crazy number of Fans who applaud everything but hardly Players who enjoy being there.
Pep is one of those managers who will only take world class sqaud with huge funding . He can’t manage clubs with less funding . Even I can win premier league with city . There sqaud is just so good .
You were wrong @FDOR .... I knew one day the hardworkers would achieve their goal !!! And today they achieved it! Congratulations @ManCity for winning the Champions League 🎉🎉🎉
Pretty sure the video was aimed at the last few seasons why they weren’t winning it, like you can’t judge a book by its cover, a title won’t mean what you would think
It wasn't unlikely. Man City and PSG are infantile clubs as soon as they don't get their way they give up . No history, no backbone. Champions league experience rules all
Not at all. Watch their away game against Atletico Madrid the round before. It could easily have been very different if Atleti could have taken any of the chances they created 2nd half. The writing was on the wall, even from the 1st leg at the Ettihad conceding 3. Poor defending. Dias is so overrated.
yes, you enjoyed .. good.. smile my boy .. 80 yers , every club fu*ked then, real won 14 time,, do you guess , how many time real down .. 😁😁.. truth you dont know .. 1955s to 1970 then become champion leugess .. 1955 to 70 there was europa cup , city won 1 time,, then become champion leuges ..😁😁😁 stupid fan dosent know hisory .. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
There was a time Chelsea were obsessed with the UCL, the English media made Chelsea feel guilty for not winning it... Roman was buying players to ensure Chelsea won it ,..after purchasing Chelsea in 2003.... There was a heart ache in 2008 much more painful than City losing against Chelsea in Porto. Chelsea were one penalty kick away from winning it in Moscow. Now when they least expected it in 2012, they won it.... City should came down, it might not even be Pep that would deliver...but the least expected coach... We will see how it goes.
@@wisdomnzube4121 as you see no... Look at bayern munich, money, players, no sheikh instead a good economy and smart transfers over a decade now. I am saying that as a frankfurt fan, we don't like bayern much, but you have to admit that...
@@vierkantbonsai7450 Bayern are in an environment where they are better than the rest, they can easily develop players, they can buy smartly and give them time to adapt and grow more. But in EPL when you do that, you will see yourself taking a back seat...unless you have a top top coach that is able to keep you floating in that time....
Ok I'll take a stab at a prediction. Pep will leave after the next season winning everything domestically except for the trophy that matters. Things turn sour right away because who can replicate Pep's success? After a sacking during the middle of the season, with City languishing at 7th, they appoint Stuart Pearce as interm manager. His tactics are derided as shit as City finish 10th in the league but a back to the wall job against Dortmund, Arsenal, Bayern and Real Madrid gives City the Champions League they don't actually deserve. Meanwhile, Guardiola struggles to get past the QF with PSG, Ronaldo breaks the Asian Champions League record with a team from lets say Saudi Arabia and Barcelona are staring Relegation in the face as their lever pulling blows up in their face and companies are coming to collect.
He went from “Why Manchester City can’t win the Champions League” to “Can Manchester City win the Champions League” to finally “Manchester City win the Champions League”
Sometimes the best team does not win, I know it sounds weird but many times it’s just plain blind luck. RM beat PSG, Chelsea, ManC and Liverpool and I don’t believe they had a good game out of the 7 games where they were considered the best team… they did have 10-15-20 min spurts where they did all their damage and then held on for dear life. Hats off to them
Judging by your comment .. i think you know absolutely nothing about football.. if you really think a club can win psg liverpool chelsea and city by accident .. you have no idea how football works.. no one will ever win a ucl by accident or luck.. you need some luck obviously! But it part of football.. luck only comes to the one who go for it.. the one who try the best.. you can say lucky goal .. lucky crossbar .. lucky save .. but saying lucky ucl make you look like you never played football .. and if you ever played football for real you will know that making comebacks on a game is even harder .. specially against the best teams in the world.. you must have the plans the quality .. the personality to do it .. and they didnt do one comeback.. they did multiple..

Now correct me if I am wrong did they not lose all away games? Did they not need some type late minute heroic’s in order to win at the Bernabeu? ……. @@Bulico123 see football is both mental and physical. city didnt mentally have it and they switched off due to playing in epl and there their system gets them the win real madrid always are about having the best individuals and thats how they won. they didnt have a pattern of play they just had more individual gamechangers and on the day ancelottis tactics and players beat city fair and square. they had better individuals and gamechangers and were better mentally prepared for the game
Not for long 😅 It's just a chance, gonna this year or in future. It's not like Yaya curse Stopped them from Winning 4 league titles in 5 years & pretty much every other domestic trophy. Anyway I don't support inhumane regime owned clubs.
@@abdullahjavaid6695 so in future at some point winning it Solves the riddle of curse huh🤣 Come on grownups believing in curse what next unicorn 🦄 horse huh.
It's a matter of time for Man City and PSG to win an UCL. Just like Chelsea back in 2000s and FC Barcelona in the early 1990s. Personally speaking I would also like Atletico Madrid to win an UCL, they were so close in 2 finals against Real Madrid.
In 1970s atletico were seconds away from winning it but bayern equalized in last possible seconds of extra legs and there was no penalty shootouts so they replayed the final and bayern battered them 4-0 lol
I'm here watching this as the Champions League final is happening. This win cannot be guaranteed no matter how much in fine form Man City are in. But i just want to say fhat Pep in the end deserves every credit on getting Man City a bigger and better club and that he did what he could if they lose.
Excellent animation. They have a team that can win multiple premier leagues, they have amazing scorers, but the champions i do not see them winning it any time soon.
They are going to win it in the next 5 years maybe not with Pep but they will have one. They've massively pushed on recently in the CL and should've won the final against Chelsea and reached last years. If it weren't for Pep mind games
Winning the CL requires a bit of luck. I think its inevitable that City will win the title the next few years. They just have had a couple years where they lost composure and conceded some heartbreaking goals. Cant lie i have enjoyed watching their CL struggles a bit, esp when Tottenham broke their hearts. But they will win it with Pep. I do believe that
Oh yea I agree as a united fan I want it to go as long as possible without them winning it but realistically its only a matter of time espicaly now that they have Haaland if not 2023 then 2024
Pep will take decade to win with city billons of funding here is ancelito and hanski flick won CL in there first term with there clubs and zidane won 3 years in a row .
I am a die hard bayern fan but I have to be honest here, I like the way city play football under pep G and I do feel like they will win the cl at some point at least once in the next 6 years if they keep the same model. On a side note I wish if kdb..foden and halland come to bayern very intriguing players.
what do u like?? apart from watching kdb doing unimaginable things, peps system in city is too boring , passing passing passing , arsenals free flowing football is atleast beautiful to watch even if they donr wn anything, for 2 decades they have kept what real football is EYEPLEASING!!
Winning the UCL takes a special set of players. Skills aside. Grit being the most important quality of all. Needs a coach who can adapt to games to play dirty, basic football and sometimes just outrun the opponent. This is something that city under Guardiola need to do more often. Win matches (in UCL not epl!) Where sometimes you don't have to play a beautiful game (or your style) but can still get the win. Guardiola focuses too much on style or philosophy when sometimes you meet opponents from the eridivise whose style defy football philosophy
there was lot of times where City won without having 70% possession against real madrid playing defensive wont help defend the two goals they conceded in added time, One was a corner the other a cross they missed a couple of chances before the 90th thats one thing that costed them
@@boris4242 no one is asking them to park the bus, but to improve on their defensive capabilities and actually defend properly when they need to do so. All Guardiola teams are weak defensively, right from Barca but he was fortunate to have a prime Messi in his team then which covered up for him a lot. Check Man City record especially in the EPL, almost every shot on target against them scores. That is a very poor attribute for a team that wants to win a tournament like UCL where very fine margins separate teams in the latter stages. Sometimes, you will only be able to score one goal in a game no matter how hard you try, and your ability to protect that lead no matter what is often the difference between losing and winning titles. Attack may win you games, but defence wins you titles (Alex Ferguson)
@@opetimistic I do agree and disagree with you in some these look to play the best football you wont defend the best their football is why teams have so low shots and often or not a hailmary goes in, the best team wins the league not UCL its harder to win most in 38 games then in 6 City UCL runs have been a lot with defensive errors that costed them but last year wasnt that it was something else, and for the attack may win you games defence wins you titles is false just like you mentioned before Pep at Barca had Messi and he isnt a defender Pep at City lacked a goal threat if they got last year Ronaldo he wouldnt miss what grealish and co did before madrid goals and thats why this or next year Man City with Haaland will win the UCL
Hahahaha, just subscribed! I found the last bit when he is dumbfounded by the abundance of league titles but lack of UCL's to be hilarious. It was made even better by his scream of impotence at the end of the crescendo, which foreshadowed the sheik's decent into madness. 10/10
I do think Haaland is really the last piece of the puzzle to get Man City the UCl. Not trying to degrade other Man city striker of before, but the fact that he is brilliant in scoring while unselfish and still do passing if needed is really something else.
