Europe is simply experiencing what we in Latin America have for years: Our top talent leaving us for money, leaving our football weak and full of Maguire-level players.
exactly as a african i want to see africa and asia as a competitive continents not just europe thats so depressing but now football is becoming truly international but guess what when the arabs do it its oil but when the europeans do it its "passion"
But we are building our league bc buying premier league will still give European all the attention. King ❤ salman wants us to have better league. We startee football shortly after European leagues but to this day we are not at the top, reason is simple we have so much money that we make tons with no effort this is why our players and leagues dont care, our players makes enough with no effort and they dont have interest unlike westerns where you have to give all you have to be the best. So now that oil sales are decreasing, our kings finally realised that we needed to change. Not just football there are no saudi doctors, although we go to school but they dont teach us enough to become doctors or work in tech companies. We have pakistani, indinas and Egyptians working these jobs, we just own bunch of place and make money off rent, foreigners cant buy their own property they’re forced to rent it so more ppl come looking for job and locals are putting properties up for sale, in out state jeddah there are more foreigners than saudi and now its time for us to get up our asses. Im one of them but i always felt incomplete and lazy i always admired westerners bc i see they’re working since teens and built everything themselves unlike us arabs who are living off their parents their whole life, not just rich ppl but middle class and poor.
UAE sovereign fund, man city owners, they already own 30% of premier league. Saudis bought Newcastle to have a footprint in the european scene, but I don't think they'll do much else here.
@@ryanriazyour county is killing football, a place with no football culture that is robbing players from The elit futbol (Europe) because they can pay unlimited money
When the Saudis sign Benzima, he is a retired player, even though he is the holder of Ballon dor' and Real Madrid wanted to extend his contract for two more seasons!! But when Real extends Modric's 39-year contract to 1 more season, this is a genius deal 😭
Because players move to Saudi Arabia to retire obviously. Benzema is not moving to Saudi Arabia because "I want to give my all and win everything outside Europe", if that was the case he would have gone to South America very obviously. A player that wants to test themselves outside Europe will set themselves the objective of winning the most prestigious trophy outside Europe which is by far the Copa Libertadores. Many fans put the Libertadores even at the same level as the UCL because 30 years ago South America was the strongest football continent with the strongest clubs. Just like Luis Suarez did. Suarez rejected clubs from Arabia and the USA to sign for much less money for a Brasilian club, and he established himself the objective of winning the Libertadores. Evidently that's the example of a player that wants to keep competing at the highest level outside Europe. (Sadly he is being plagued by serious physical issues right now that may force him to retire, but he has been scoring bangers in Brasil). If they move to Saudi Arabia is to let go, get fat, party and make money. Of course Benzema cannot do something like that at Real Madrid, if he had stayed it would be to keep taking football seriously until the end of his contract.
I am sure that you did not watch a single match in the Saudi League, a very competitive and strong league. Its clubs knocked out Revelbeat from the Club World Cup, and Al Hilal brought out Flamenfo with a triple, which used to be six and seven before it ruled. Follow the Saudi League, as it is strong and enjoyable. Viewers in Asia, Africa, and Arabs everywhere in the world follow it, almost as many 400 million greetings from Mexico
@@kjrom You want to convince me that Suarez went to the South American League for the challenge! He went because he was overweight and did not find a European offer, and I do not remember that there is an Arab club that wanted him because of his overweight, so he went to a league in which there are no strict rules. Literally organizing tournaments in South American matches, such as street matches in Saudi Arabia. To be fair, there are some good Latin clubs but that was in the past. In recent years, their strength has decreased, and the evidence is the Club World Cup match at the beginning of the year between Flamengo, the champion of South America, with Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia, the Asian champion, which ended for Al-Hilal with mercy. As for the fact that the players come to the Saudi League for money, no one denies this because the league is not known internationally. But the age of retirement of the players now is 35-38, not the same as before, and most of the players who joined are 29/30, except for Ronaldo and Benzema. It is like investing in any project. In the beginning, you have to pay a lot in order to market the product, after which there is no need for a lot of money. Unlike China, which was not thinking of strengthening the product, as it wanted to attract its fans only to watch the game, as it is not the first, nor the second, nor even the third in popularity in the country .
@@kjromlol no saudi team offered suarez anything 😅, and a Saudi team Al-hilal just won the last copa libertadores champion in the last club world cup 3-2 ! I think the team name is flamengo right? 😂😂😂 Flamengo FC most famous club in south and centeral America, we beat them, now stay quiet.

Yeah the main reason why they’re investing in football is because of the Tesla cars and for that reason,Oil exportation will face a reduction. Another reason is that, they also want to bid for the 2030 World Cup
@@KemetEG you will watch when Saudi league will reach the top. It will take time ofc but yeah Saudinare showing potential. And I hope Egypt league also grow or atleast their own players grow

Saudi clubs are also superior in Asia and the Arab world. For example, Al Hilal, the world runner-up in the last edition, defeated Flamengo, the champions of Brazil and South America in the Club World Cup, and played a good match against Real Madrid in the final.
@@q3q3q3q3 ok and u didnt bring all the clubs psg beat al nassr and they werent even trying with 10 men and united states mls is better than the saudi oil league ur ruining football by making it all about money no passion
What I understood is that they changed and began to build civilizations and began to host major events (don't forget that they are Arabs). I think that what we saw was amazing. I love watching the change of nations like Venezuela, Japan, and Saudi Arabia, but what I saw in terms of building cities and improving areas towards Saudi Arabia made me greatly impressed.👌🏻
This is a racist theory about the Saudi League. When big money is paid from the English Premier League to bring players, no one says anything , When this happens in the Saudi League, they mock. Unfortunately, their mockery helped the success of the Saudi League more than before. and also, Cristiano Ronaldo only became rich from European money.
The level of professionalism and commitment from Saudi Arabia towards hosting and attracting this sport is fascinating. I can’t wait to witness further entertainment and racing events in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar are all just countrys who can't get over their small penxses so they buy them whatever they want and they think this would help. No normal human would live there
@@knutsenneundorf116 bro remove the word "just". They are not doing " just" but the "must". They are taking allnout effort to become better. They have money. So they not only buying players but investing money in infrastricture. Just give them time

Honestly, even if they have the passion (which is something) they also need to have more of their own players as well. From what I can see they can easily become the third to second, but it will need a number of other factors to beat Europe. 1) Language barrier. Players at some point will need to learn Arab as well as having a multilanguage approach. 2) Culture. Let's be honest, the culture over there is too different and even if the best players start to go there it will be hard for people to follow them. 3) Laws. Nowadays there are too many laws that make foreigners' life difficult. Football is not only about players. So, they will need to open the country for foreigners to feel safe to come there. As well as the limit for foreigner players. 4) The players itself. If you take countries like Brazil, Argentina, France, Spain and England they are the countries who export more players in the world. They have so many players that their leagues can have a "decent" amount of team in a proper way. So, in order to Saudi club manages to do that they will need more of their own. And not only a random player, but a lot of good ones. For that to happen, another thing they will need to solve is: the inequality and other social aspects in the countries in the Middle East.
Dont worry ...... Saudi Arabia understands the religions and laws of all people, but there are many foreigners in the league, whether the smallest or the largest clubs, and now the goal has begun to buy the smallest ones, such as Jota from Celtic, and in the coming years you will see more and larger names ... all for the sake of harmony between the locals and the foreigners And develop their good team in Asia and not very good in the world cup
@qff1108 well, you still have problems like the amount of foreign you can have in the team. Or how you can't drink alcohol. Or the women issue. It needs to change in other to allow general audience.
all can be managed except culture I agree with u on that one. here we have a very conservative community that is affected by Islam law, that's why its easier to buy muslim players
Saudi Arabia respects all religions, and our government is just, there is no need for fear. All that people say about Saudi Arabia is that it is a terrorist country. They lie. Saudi Arabia is a developed country and it respects women's rights💗
You know why? Simply cuz we can. That money we spent on football is nothing compared to our economy. BTW, crown prince, MBS, is too busy to spend that time on football. He just said bring them in and they did.
Honestly, praise to Saudi Arabia for hosting a huge sports event. I find that they are trying to merge into the world, with a universal peaceful language, which is sports.
@@mgjsm4538 It's write not wright, hi from Saudi Arabia 😊 😂 Our War in yemen is against houthis, both Saudi government and yemeni government fight a common enemy, the houthis. @@mgjsm4538 Do you read? or comprehend, or just on autopilot, i just explained to you the reason why Saudi government still in War, the houthis, same group fought by the Yemeni government, and to add... They threatened to take over Saudi cities before the war begin and still threaten to do so, and to send a message they have been sending guided missiles towards Saudi cities several times almost each year in the war, they are a neighboring country! So their threats are dangerous on the safety of the Saudi people... @@Phantom-ez4zv sorry I somehow managed to not see the second part of your comment. No I'm not jealous of the development of football in SA. I just don't like that your country wants to buy themselve a fantasy league by giving players too much money. This isn't how football should work. And it isn't only this. Woman rights, free press and Human Rights in general are a big problem in your country and until these problems are not solved I will not see SA as an souvereign state. And while you are already mentioning the US of A. These kind of arguments are not helping because you shouldn't look for mistakes from others (which the US clearly made and not just once and also in the near past). First solve your own issues and than talk about others cause for me than it looks like you want to distract from yourself. When SA finally is a state with Human Rights and etc. I will not say anything about this. It still wouldn't make me happy but yeah. Let's say I would accept it more than with how it now is

Honestly, this might be something good, all modern football crap can exist in Saudi Arabia. We in Europe can watch the football we grew up to love. Even though the best players won’t play here, I couldn’t be happier. The best clubs in Europe might get their identity back. Even Premier League might be interesting again.
