Greed..greed.greed..if Meitei dont want the Imphal to be overpopulated they must share the offices, medical and educational institutions with every other districts...its in their own making...they pulled in every people... Kuki and Nagas employees like their office in home town but when most offices were in Imphal its hard to travel 60-70km every morning evening every working day..so they settle in Imphal and bought house there in the long run. Meitei should have shared those with the hills if they can't shoulder the responsibilities...

@@alphaapache4723 if by sharing state institution means sharing ST status you are dead wrong...every district of Manipur though under different tribes is under the state Manipur and all schemes and funds come as a state fund...if you dont want to share govt. institution which is for whole state let go of those areas and let them have their own adminiatration and centre share...let them grow... but ST status is noteant for everyone unlike the state funds and institutions...anyways u get the honey why did you complain about the bees??

I know your explanation about the geographical area is base on Prof. Akoijam. The land route was and is never blocked by militans. It was the people of the hills particularly the Kuki who blocked the road but as a goodwill gesture the blocked was lifted. However unlike us you people still blocked the medical and relief supply meant for the kuki even after we lifted the national highways. Shame on you. Chedairy, half knowledge is dangerous. Your declined in population cannot be blamed on a particular community. Another important point is your talk about the extension of valley and hills. Actually before the clash there were morethan 10000 plus meitei population settling in churachandpur and most of them were successful bussinessmen in trade, alcohol bussiness. Infact, many of the meitei population have their own plot of land and building unlike your claim where the valley people cannot buy land or settled in the hills. We have no hatred against your community until you people wanted the whole land for your own instead of sharing and living together as a manipuri. Terming all our village volunteers as militans and the whole kuki population as narco Terrorist, illegal immigrants, and poppy cultivator. Another thing is the visual of arms man visible in the video. If you understand kuki language the people shouted "Ei ho Nam sepai te ahung ta uve" which can be roughly translated as "our kuki volunters have arrived." Now if you go back and carefully analyse the whole incident on and before May 3. The past few years, the biren govt. have always make a remark of hate speech and violence toward the kuki community. Forceful evictions were done, churhes were destroyed in the middle of night in Imphal in the name of eviction but no Naga church were harm unlike the Kuki church which were all in the same nearby locations. This bring great anger in the heart and hurt the sentiments of the Kuki people. Moreover, on the 27th and 28th April there was an unrest in churachandpur town due to the coming of N. Biren singh to inaugurate open gym in town. In opposed to this, the people of Churachandpur protest the coming of CM in town because of all the above actions against tribal people and their land which hurt their sentiments. A confrontation was there between the police and public during the fateful day and night of 27th and 28th of April. Keeping that in Mind a solidarity march against the inclusion of meitei in ST status held on the 3rd of May in all hills district including the Naga under the ATSUM banner. This was done to show the displeasure against the govt and high court order but not the meitei people. However, a counter blockade was conducted the meitei in Bishnupur district and kangvai bordering areas. Many of the people belonging to the kuki community on their way from imphal were stop and their indenty card were checked. Because of this the tribal displeasure toward the meitei grew bigger on the day. Lastly, on May 3rd when the protest was held in all tribals inhabited areas including the Naga. Some miscreants coming and returning back to Imphal side burnt the Anglo-Kuki centenary gate. So the question is why that particular gate apart from all other places? This shows that the miscreants were all very much aware where to hit which will deeply hurt the Kuki sentiments. They were right and because of this the people from the rally started rushing toward the incidents. At that time the meitei living near the tribals areas already evacuated and there were some meitei mob standing in safe distance along with police commondo. Note this, the confrontation has not yet began but comondos and meitei mob already gathered numbering in hundred in a safe distance. So, upon the hearing of the burning of centenary gate the angry kuki mob on seeing the meitei mob in distance started exchanging words and stone which resulted in the clash. As soon as the clash the verbals and stone pelting began on both sides mob started gathering. The meitei commondo present during the incidents instead of remaining neutral and taking control of the situations started firing tear gas and few rounds of live bullets toward the kuki mob. In retaliation the angry kuki mob started garthering more in numbers which resulted in few injuries. Mob started gathering more on both sides, and kuki coming from imphals towards churachandpur were targeted by the meitei, their car and motor bike were destroyed by angry meitei mob. In midst of this confrontation, news about the death of a young man belonging to the kuki community who was manhandled by the meitei mob death have reached the kuki angry mob which further escalate the incidents. In retaliations the kuki mob gathering in thousand overcome the meitei on the other side. The meitei mob at first along with the commondo retreated but they the meitei retaliated back using pistol which is also evidence in some videos. Upon hearing the news of the meitei using guns and the direct support of the comondo toward the meitei community even to the extend of firing toward the kuki mob and the death of the youngman resulted in the involvement of the arm man seen viral in the video. And as mentioned before the kuki mob shouted, our kuki volunters have arrived. To make things worse, in retaliation the meitei miscreants make viral a fake whatapps message where a young girl was killed. Saying that the girl was from meitei community a medical students in churachanpur who was rape and killed by kuki militants. But the truth was that the victims belong to a hindu community in delhi who as the unfortunate victim of honour killing. This was later clarify the manipur police but the fake news have already resulted in the killing, molesting, raping and burining down of kuki people in Imphal and adjoining areas. One last fact, if this was pre-planned by the kuki how come not a single soul of meitei people were harm apart from their house being burnt down and destroyed by kuki mod in retaliation.
