Vince wanted nothing to do with WCW Invasion era wrestlers who weren't already established or over. They served as bodies until the next generation of developmental were ready to be called up. When thinking about your future stars in 2001, if you're down to a choice between nurturing the talents of Jindrak, O'Haire, Palumbo, Stasiak, Sanders, etc. and nurturing the OVW class of 2002, the choice is obvious. Vince will ALWAYS choose the guys who he earmarked and helped create from the start. Guys like Mark were destined to be lost in the shuffle.

@@huffy6192 WCW wanted to push O'Haire. From what I remember reading from way back then, if WCW never sold to WWE(and if chodes like Kellner never pushed to take wrestling off of the Turner networks), they were going to build O'Haire up as like a second Goldberg "unstoppable force" type gimmick. Bischoff said the same thing would have happened if WCW ultimately sold to his Fusient Media company. WWE on the other hand, never had plans to push O'Haire. Apparently, he had heat on him the moment he walked through the door when he didn't introduce himself properly to the locker room. I also heard Kenny Bolin talk about a time when Sean tried (and failed) to rib HHH on like his second or third week with the company, which of course did him no favors. His fate was sealed when they discovered that while he did a great job on pre-taped promos, he struggled when trying to cut live promos.

Basically, the Mexican peso got devalued hard over time.

It was never going to work, for Jindrak, O'Haire, Palumbo, etc. Vince and his crew saw them as WCW scrubs, and since they never had time to get truly over in WCW and draw, that opinion wasn't going to change. Lower mid-card (where Palumbo got to) was the best they could have hoped for in WWE. Their biggest mistake was opting to go to the Power Plant instead of WWE developmental.

@@hasan--9767 we saw him in a storyline with taker though, sort of, and he was used as a squash guy, but he was tall, and almost as tall as taker, so he looked formidable, he needs to talk good on the mic

Ortons fucked over a lot of people, he only cares what guys can do for him then he drops them

That was young Orton. Dude has matured and has earned everyone’s respect in the industry.

I couldn't ride with someone like Triple H. You can be yourself around him & he expects you to talk business all the time. Sorry I rather travel alone

I would've kicked Orton out of evolution and keep Mark. Orton was great on his own.

orton needed evolution badly, you have no idea what you're talking about, before evolution he had no idea what he was doing, so triple h and ric flair took him under their wings and trained him

They didn't need to kick Orton out. No law that says your stable can't consist of 5 guys.
