You save your marriage before it starts. Gen 2:18 - it's not good for man to live alone, I will make him a helper.,..God took a rib out of a man and made a woman. 1. SYNERGY It takes the responsibility of two not one. Ecc 4:9 - Two are better than one for they can help each other succeed. Love your partner and train your children. Marry a man that helps you fly. Sit down and talk, plan your dreams, make resolutions as a family Don't let your marriage just work, put work on it If sth is hurting you, say it, if you like sth, say it Settle what you want in your marriage 2. LEGACY God does covenants with generations Gen 18:17- When you are married, there's no reason under heaven why you shouldn't have children Mal 2:15 If you can find it in the word, you can find it in the world God put the responsibility of raising godly kids on both parents Parenting is not a woman's job only A man brings nature, a woman brings nurture Train your children to know God 3. Pastor M, your preaching is aaaaalways filled with God's power and wisdom. I always click "like" even before listening to your messages. May God continue to use you ma. But what shud be done if one feels like one is in the marriage alone? When many of the issues you raised are lacking...no communication, no plan, no openness etc? 😔 😟 yet one cannot do marriage alone...
Life is spread with different seasons Gen. 8:22, Eccl. 8:6. Continue to do what is right (be honest) write down things you are grateful for (gratitude journal for the season you are in) You are not alone, Hosea was alone in marriage, Jesus sometimes is alone in the commitment. God is teaching us that He is patient with us. Building relationships is challenging, the loud cry from Jesus was: forgive them Father, for they do not know what they are doing.
Agree with every word except the example of helping spouse to clean up while loving children and building them to clean up. Everyone has the capacity to learn & unlearn things. Its easy for this innocent example to represent a form of abuse in relationship. Beautiful message and well delivered.
Her angle is peace. Yes people can learn and change. But sometimes the home can be full of fire 🔥 just because of throwing socks on the floor. I understand her angle. Peace.
