Why Maverick is kinda bad… 

INSPIRED BY COASTOONS VIDEO ON MILLIE :) ok, as clickbait as this video seems, I legitimately feel like this coaster could’ve been SO much better than it is. What are your thoughts on Maverick?

Understandable. I actually like the restraints because they prevent my hands from staying up throughout the ride giving me a battle. This enhances the positives and I would feel them less with a new lapbar but that's just me 😅

Rode maverick twice and the restraints didn’t ruin it for me, however image this ride without the over the shoulder restraints 😵

the restraints don’t mess up the ride that badly… for me it was at least a 9/10 ride. Idk what you’re on about bro

my only problem with the trains is that the bump below me on the chair fcks me in the ass whenever i land back into my seat and my ass hurts when the ride is over

mavericks restraints don’t bother me at all it’s my 5 of 242 credits

This coaster is already so enjoyable to me, changing the restraints would make it even better! It was my number one, now number two after a lot of thought, just after Voyage at Holiday World. The over-the-shoulders didn't really bother me, it was mostly the lap bar portion because of how much it comes down. But the layout is so good that it makes up for it, and the ride operators didn't staple, so the first drop was absolutely nuts! Here's a tip: If you're sitting in a even numbered row, you can cross your ankles when you are on the final brake run in order to minimize the pain. If you're in an odd numbered row, there's nothing you can do.

I LOVE MAVERICK! My #1 at cedar point and better than STEEL VENGEANCE! don't get me wrong though steel vengeance is also good it's my #2. I only rode maverick in the back at sunset and it was legendary, I forgot the restraints, I didn't recognize the trims, and I just saw that all around me was amazing and it truly was an experience like no other.

Layout is perfect, but im 6'3 so the restraints hurt my shoulders and collarbone badle, which is why i dont enjoy it that much. This is not a bad ride tho, i genuinely think youre clickbaiting

The restraints got better when they switched from the hard plastic ones to tue padded ones. I used to not be able to keep my hands up the whole ride because the restraints would bruise my arms. But even if the restraints still kind of suck I still absolutely love this ride. It’s one of my favorite coasters and has been for awhile now.

Maverick is not my favorite until I ride it. It is definitely a coaster filled with thrills. So tired of these coaster people constantly complaining about restraints. Oh, that 2 sec airtime moment pushed my wimpy thighs up against the bar. Oh, that crazy unexpected whip made me feel the restraints on my shoulder. It hurt, it scared me, wish they would put some trims on the ride to make it more comfortable. Go to Disney world and stay off our coasters.

It’s not bad but considering it a top 10 steel coaster is laughable I’d love to have something like it at kings island

I'm SO glad you brought this up about Maverick because it could be one of the best coasters if it wasn't for THOSE RESTRAINTS!! I've tried to keep my arm under the restraint to keep it from stapling me but it's nearly impossible!! I've nearly lost all feeling in my legs from being stapled so bad and I've also got whiplash once from the twist under the lift hill after the launch!! I usually can only ride it once but I REALLY would love to ride it several times because the layout is amazing but I perfer to have circulation in my legs to be able to walk the insanely long walk around CP!!!
